I am convinced this place is an insurance scam office…read more First of all, the dentist who was originally seeing me was very nice and I originally liked her but suddenly started cancelling my appointments when I was in pain. I had extreme tooth pain and needed fillings and she had cancelled emergency appointments with me for over a month straight. Finally, the receptionist schedules me with a male dentist because she stated that my original dentist was not there and was unable to see me. The interesting part? When I was exiting the exam room I ran into the dentist who supposedly wasn't in due to a "family emergency" for the last month and she wouldn't even look at me. When I said hello, she barely smiled at me and scurried away. Weird. The reason I assume that I am suspicious that they are insurance scammers is that every time I had a cavity or was seen for tooth pain (this case included), they recommended a crown. First crown was covered by my insurance. Okay. No problem. Tooth pain gone so no big deal. Filling came out about three months later while chewing a starburst and my wisdom tooth beside it was extremely painful and sensitive to hot and cold. They insisted on work that was unecessary and recommended crowning two teeth back to back. Over 5,000 dollars of work my insurance would not cover. I decided to seek a second opinion at the smilist in middle island with Doctor Kaminsky. He took X-rays and didn't understand why ANY of that was recommended at all. He ended up sending me to an oral surgeon to remove the wisdom tooth as my only other option was a root canal and I did not want that. He was very accommodating and his oral surgeon he sent me to was incredible. He filled the tooth the same day I saw him before I saw the surgeon the following week and he is now my primary dentist. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

What a SCAM. A year later he is actually suing me and doubled the amount 'owed'! NEVER TRUST THIS MAN! I went to Dr. Giannuzzi a couple of months ago for a cosmetic procedure. Long story short, I took a falloff my porch, face planted and chipped a front tooth. I was devastated to say the least because my teeth and smile are my money maker. Ok, I kid So in speaking to a cousin a similar thing happened to him where he chipped a front tooth and recommended Dr. Giannuzzi for a veneer. We actually chipped the same exact front tooth and his veneer was FLAWLESS. I couldn't even tell the difference between either of his front teeth and the color match was perfect I made the appointment for the consult and was absolutely blown away by how efficient and friendly the front office staff was, how clean the office was and how wonderful the Doctor was. After this cosmetic procedure is complete I will go here for my general dental needs like cleanings and exams!

Horrible experience! I received a $1000. Estimate for dental work for my husband and myself and…read morethen after having all the work done they hit me with another bill for another $959! Beware!! Will never go back! If I had been given a $2000. Estimate I would not have consented to getting the work done. But funny, they waited till after our multiple visits and until the work was completed to hit us with another bill! Buyer beware, the actual bill we got was double what they estimated.
