I prefer to build up a long lasting relationship with my dentist and years prior to the pandemic it was a pleasant and professional practice. However, ever since Dr. Mincer, Berman & Anquist retired and sold the practice, it turned into a corporate machine with perpetual turnovers. Ever six months a different dentist and hygienists. Not a good experience. The overall look and cleanliness of the practice could also use more maintenance and updating. read more

My experience after dr Mincer sold this practice was terrible. Even though it was long time ago, I feel like sharing my thoughts with others now while I'm looking again for service. If I'm not mistaken, this place is now owned by a big corporation. During very first visit after take over I was diagnosed with 5 or 6 bad teeth, which was completely unjustified but an attempt to make money. Never showed up again there. read more

if I could give them no stars I would. It is hard to get an appointment at a time you can make work. When they cancel you they tell you to take what they have. They are not flexible in fitting you in and tell you they can put you on a cancellation list. The manager also claims that she has no way to contact the corporation that owns them. Unfortunately the manager is not helpful and the office can't keep a dentist. It is sad that Dr. Mincer sold his business to this awful company. read more

WORST PRACTICE EVER. From incompetent front desk to the providers scamming your insurance. I Have had four consults yet there was no follow up work ever completed. The providers do not explain the plan of care yet will bill your insurance for services never rendered. BE AWARE. They're out to get you. I was scammed out of $1200 from previous practice so I don't know what made me come to practice. Oh that's right! I have been a patient in this office for years and never been treated so rudely by the hygienist and Dr. Perschon who were both new to me. They spoke down at me and loud. I was embarrassed that patients in adjoining rooms could hear. Also a major HIPAA violation. Dr. Perschon also alluded that I was not treated properly in the past. She is young and has a long way to go with a bedside manner. I am a healthcare provider and I would never treat a patient this way. I will not return there. read more

Been a patient of this practice since 2005. I've never been treated this well by a dentist in my life. I love everything about this practice; I have recommended it to several friends/coworkers who are unhappy with their current dentists. I was terrified of the pediatric dentist I saw as a child. He would scream at me, reducing me to tears, for having to swallow the accumulated saliva at the back of my throat. I'll never forget his hairy hands - they were as big as catcher's mitts. My next dentist was a very kind man but he left dentistry in the early 2000's. Then my husband and I moved to Newtown Square and found Dental Arts on the Square. They really met us where we were (which, from a dental standpoint, was probably not where we should have been) and addressed several longtime concerns of mine. The front desk staff, especially Jeannie, are professional and friendly. They always manage to find a spot for me and for my husband when we're "in trouble" with an ancient filling gone south or for a newly-discovered uh-oh. I have to single out Rosemary as my favorite hygienist. True, she's the one who has worked on me the most, so my sample size is pretty small. But at a whopping 5' 1" she is truly head and shoulders above the rest. Dr. Ahnquist is a very skilled dentist and an extremely kind person. I am so happy with the care she has provided me, so happy that I am taking my children (all under the age of 12) to her. And her hands are TINY. read more

Dr Perschon took over the practice from Dr. Mincer. During my first encounter with her she didn't bother to introduce herself, just started looking into my mouth while talking over me to her assistant about her car. Never once asked if I was OK. She suggested 5 crowns at a cost of over $6000. I left and got a second opinion. The other dentist was able to bond 2 teeth and said the other lower teeth should definitely not be crowned. Find another practice. Overly-aggressive dental hygienist gave me the hard sell on electric toothbrushes, x-rays, etc. while directly in my face and poking my gums. Scared the crap out of me. I had a complete panic attack and ran out in the middle of the appointment. Last thing I heard was "Did I offend you?". I spent at least 15 minutes in the parking lot next to my car, head between my knees, hyperventilating. No one came out to see if I was okay, no one later called to find out if I was okay. Followed up with Dr. Perchon 2 weeks later, who tried to diffuse the situation with the standard "I am sorry you had a bad experience" and then offered to gas me the next time I came in for a cleaning. AWFUL. I went here for a few years, and up until about a year ago, I had no problems. Then, good dentists left and hygienists were hired who are bossy and speak to you condescendingly while your mouth is braced open so you can't respond to them. They have a good dental staff, but don't trust the billing office. Hang on to your wallet with both hands. Three weeks ago they charged my credit card triple the amount that I owed. When caught, they said it was an "honest mistake". I believe that an honest response would be to immediately refund MY money and correct their error. However, they refuse to pay back what they stole from me. Apparently, they think that ripping off disabled senior citizens is good corporate policy. I changed to this dentist about 2 years ago and since then no longer panic about having to go to the dentist. The office is cozy and all staff are very helpful and friendly. The hours are great and they are very thorough with cleanings, etc. When the sonicare toothbrush I purchased through them stopped working after about a year and a half they told me to call the company and they should replace it but if not to call and let them know and they would do what they could to help, well sonicare wouldn't replace so I called back to let them (dentist) know and they replaced it, at no cost. Great service, I have and will continue to recommend them!! read more
