I have been a patient here for several years. Twice yearly cleaning plus yearly x-rays have been my normal dental care. In 2025 a tooth abfraction required a 2nd diagnosis by and endodontist. Very pleased with the person Dr. Krochmal recommended. He did crown work for me in early '25. Good results. I tracked down my old dentist, Dr. Ruby because she's THE BEST and this is her new practice. Nicole gave me my cleaning and she was informative and gentle. My teeth fee like new money! The administrative staff greeted me with a hello upon entry, which was welcoming and warm. I recently started a new job, which means new insurance. My new gig fast tracked my information so I would at least be in the system by today's date. I was trying to explain to Hector what was happening and he was not hearing me. It was one of those situations where you could tell the person was only coming from their vantage point and not listening to understand but listening so they could say their next thing. I called him out and told Hector I didn't appreciate his tone. He scoffed and hit me with a clap-back of "he's trying to help me out" a clear sign that customer service isn't his strong suit. My visit would have been five stars but Hector's rudeness and brevity brought it down to 3 stars. read more

Im not sure why the low rating because each time I come for whatever visit I'm treated very well. Currently, it's Melissa in the front and she's always respectful, nice and knowledgeable. I never have a problem with my insurance and the time I changed carriers and didn't know what it was Melissa was able to locate it quick. Then, Dr.Ruby, whose one hilarious but most importantly she's extremely passionate about her work. I recently had to get a crown and when it came in, the shading was off. Note, I was leaving on vacation in a few days and since the crown came in funky Dr.Ruby rebuilt the old one and put a pretty close shading to my regular teeth. I was supperrr happy, imagine going on vaca with a yellow temporary tooth but she fixed it and made it better than what it was. Ok. My experience review may be lengthy as I want people to know how fantastic Dental Associates is. I've been going to them for a while now, so I have a baseline of their work-which is excellent! My most recent experience was I had extreme tooth discomfort that kept me up all night. Hector calls me early the next morning and they're able to squeeze me in-informs me the practitioner wouldn't be in until the afternoon. My pain is on 12 and so I go to the office early to wait. Not sure if it was the Anita Baker playing in the office, but I was falling asleep in the waiting area. Jessica, who came periodically out in between patients to check on me, was kind enough to place me in a room to rest. Chrystal and Hector called the practitioner to see if she'd come in early to see me-she did! The practitioner, Dr. Niusha was amazing! Did an emergency root canal and relieved me of my pain. Also, I need to note the excellent customer service and care from Nicole from my previous visits. The whole staff is fantastic and should you ever have fears of going to the dentist-I highly recommended giving this amazing practice a shot as they exemplify what dentistry is all about! read more

By far the best dental experience I've had. I've been attending this dental office since last year. They are very welcoming the moment you walk in. They greet you with a warm smile and the wait period isn't long. The doctors are just as friendly and the front desk does a fantastic job at explaining things. I feel very confident and comfortable every time I come to my appointments. Overall this dental office is very clean and convenient for those who live in the Rosalinda area. Pretty disorganized on the administrative side of things. Cancelled an appointment the day before due to a staffing shortage. Asked me five different times to have my old x-rays sent over from my previous dentist, when they already had been sent over the first time. It doesn't seem like they do a good job monitoring their email inbox and maintaining patient records. read more

Dental Associates Roslindale I have been impressed with this practice since the moment I walked into their office. From the Office Mgr., Hector (tremendous), to hygienist, Nicole (awesome) & Dr. Guiffari. I've consistently been brought into the exam room within 10 mins of my appointment time. Dr. G has worked patiently & generously with me around treatment plans. She thinks preventatively & has demonstrated a true commitment to helping people get the dental care they need. I ended up moving my 2 teenage boys to this practice as well. It was even clear to them that this was a practice we could trust compared to where we were. The only caveat or hesitation to give a 5 star rating is that one of the doctors who is there more hours, Dr. K, is less inclined toward friendly/warm interactions. Not a great "bedside" manner but seems to perform fine work. Definitely recommend this practice even with reservations. read more

For various reasons, everyone in my family has a different dentist. My husband has gone to Dental Associates for years. My oldest son had a dentist in Walpole, who has since retired, had a dentist in Amherst from his college days and has been living out of the country for the past two years. Anyway, he is back in the US for awhile and he broke a tooth. Childhood dentist-- retired and gone. College dentist-- had to wait 10 days for an appointment. (Tooth didn't hurt yet but never know when it might start.) China dentist-- well, dentist is in China. Enough said. Dental Associates Roslindale-- squeezed him in within a couple of days. Couldn't have been nicer about seeing him and fixing his tooth. How many other practices will find an appointment for a new patient, who they have never seen before, to fix a dental emergency? Dental Associates Roslindale is great!! There was very little wait time, the receptionist Leo was really nice--genuinely nice, not just the plastered on smile that receptionists often have-- and the dentist and the assistant were very efficient and confident. I didn't realize how bad my last dentist was until I went in there, was seen in less than an hour and had my problem addressed with possible solutions. From my encounter, I know that I can count on them to listen and to take care of me well & in a time efficient manner. I live almost an hour away--without traffic--and the drive is worth it. Since my appointments are once in a blue moon--for check ups and cleanings every 6 months or so--I'll honestly never go anywhere again! read more

Please change your receptionists they are rude and unprofessional I think his name was either Jose or Jorge but after speak with him and after being a patient here for years he made me not ever return and it was all because he didn't want to complete my prior auth for a crown . And he told me verbatim "you don't have to come here if it's not working out" what type of service is this... he also said he works for the dentist not the patient meaning that he wasn't obligated to get the prior auth that is needed for this service to be done and for the dentist to be paid what an idiot I would never return here and will let everyone know of the service I received. read more

Very poor service. I went in for a crown. The dentist dropped his instrument on the floor. He took another instrument and started to drill my tooth. He slipped in my mouth and cut the inside of my mouth ending up with me in the ER. Would never go back there again. When I complained about it, their answer was, well it happens. Great experience with Dr. Krochmal. Called the office for an emergency toothache and was able to be seen that same day. Have now been a patient of Dr. Krochmal for over 3 years. As a patient with bad past expiriences with dentists it is refreshing that Dr. Krochmal explains everything before hand and talks me through every visit. I was referred by my primary dentist (who only does General Dentistry) to go to Dental Associates for a crown and root canal. The Receptionist (a warm and welcoming Latina woman) was amazing and very accommodating. The dentist, Dr. Krochmal, was NOT welcoming and had a b%$^ resting face. This initial meeting and greeting him made me more nervous and unsteady for my procedure. My filling came out and Dr. Krochmal said I only need a crown and no root canal was needed. I get the permanent crown done, a few weeks later, throbbing PAIN. I call my primary doctor, go in and she said that I need a root canal and wished this dentist did one in the first place. I went to ANOTHER amazing dentist office for a root canal and unfortunately had to drill through the crown I paid so much money for. I am worried now that the crown will break after a few years (wear and tear) when the root canal could have been done in the FIRST place and then a crown to protect it. I feel that Dr. Krochmal rushed into making his diagnosis to my treatment plan. He definitely owes me a free crown in a couple of years. DO NOT go at this Dentist Office. There are so many more around the area. read more
