Honestly, I don't love the dentist. It's not my favorite thing to get my teeth scraped at! So I feel like it goes a long way to say that I had an amazing experience at Omni Dental. The care team is so sweet, genuine, and flexible. I was supposed to get in at 8:30am today, but they had to reschedule me because of the snow. They quickly got me on the books for 12:30 later the same day and they completed a filling, removal of this bar behind my bottom teeth, and a cleaning. I came here for a simple cleaning and then found out I had a slew of other stuff that needed to be taken care of (including getting my wisdom teeth taken out and refilling a root canal). Man, what a pain ....but it is what it is. So over the course of 1 1/2 month, I went to this dentist and 2 of their partners 4-5 times to get all the procedures done. There was the cleaning (done by Dr. Li I want to say.... who did a very good job. It was quick and painless and effecient), then I had to get a $250 Cat Scan or something of the sort at their partner site that was done by Dr. Andy who also did my wisdom teeth extractions (which again were fine, note: they do not put you under, just local anesthetic). The only thing to note is there are many different Dentists who work here so you might get someone great or someone not so great. My worst experience (which is why this isn't 5 stars) is with one Dentist who did one of my cleanings last year and cavity filling and it was a 5 hour experience. I am not exaggerating. My mouth was so sore after that, my lips were super chapped. 5 hours for a cleaning and 2 fillings??? It was ridiculous. I have been now been coming here for the past 2 years and most of the Dentists I've seen were great. Just that one bad experience. Everyone at the front desk is super nice and friendly. From my initial phone call to schedule an appointment to the online intake, to my visit, the team went to great lengths to make sure that the process was smooth and I was comfortable. Even more impressive, is Dr. Young's integrity. Whereas my previous dentist told me that I'd need a root canal and crown, Dr. Young was able to fill the cavity in my molar without me needing a costly root canal and crown. Really nice staff! They actually look after you, check on things if you seem to be waiting, offer you water, call you by name, etc., even seemed to remember details about several patients who came in while I was waiting. They made efforts to get me in quickly to re-cement a lost crown, even though I was a new patient with an HMO insurance plan. The staff seem to like each other, work together, and have a great relationship with the dentist(s). Dr. Lu is is terrific - friendly, communicative, quick and good. Big bonus - it's in an amazing cool exposed brick building with fun art on the walls. I actually had the nicest experience I've ever had at a dental office! The staff members at Omni Dental are very welcoming! The facility is clean and well-maintained as well. In the waiting room, you have access to a Keurig coffee and also bottled water! My lingual bar had broken off a few days ago and was hurting my tongue due to the wire. Omni Dental was accommodating and squeezed me in for a quick 30-minute appointment today despite their full schedule to help me out. The dentist, Dr. Andy, provided me with options for next steps (and we eventually decided on proceeding with Invisalign rather than removal/replacement of the lingual bar). I appreciated how Omni Dental provided me with options to think about rather than rushing me to make a decision right on the spot. The 30-minute appointment turned into a longer than 1 hour appointment because of the decision to start Invisalign, and the staff members were so flexible despite the last minute decision and really met my needs. They provide you with cost breakdowns right on the spot as well, which is super helpful. read more

I was made aware of Omni Dental because Dr. Andy co-owns both Omni and Simply Dental (which I've been going to for years). Both are stellar, I am grateful for the level of care and professionalism I received! If you're looking for a permanent crown, the team and technology here is AMAZING -- they have a same-day CEREC crown machine which is really cool to watch in action. I was having incredibly bad luck with two temporary crowns breaking despite me being cautious. Having an exposed partial molar made me anxious, but Misty at Simply was able to coordinate with Stephanie at Omni to get me over there pronto when a same-day slot apparently opened up. I was very grateful for this flexibility. They reassured me they'd take care of everything, and lived up to it. Dr. Joshua Kang and his assistant Marina have excellent "bedside manner" and were both explanatory and calming despite my frustrations, which soon washed over. They coordinate so well together, I admire the artistry in their work. Overall, I highly recommend both Omni Dental and Simply Dental for anyone in need of high-quality dental care.
