They owe me money from 11/22. I have called several times about it. They have been sending a bill every month for hundreds of dollars - but it's actually an estimate of a bill with the credit they owe me listed on the back. I wonder how many people have paid the estimate and never received their credit. At the time of my procedure, I called the office because I had a bad reaction and they never returned my call. I called several times after that about the money they owed me and they just gave me the run around. They should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat their customers. read more

They hardly keep their appointments. I have had appointments canceled 5 times in the last two years because 1) the hygienist has called off 2) the dentist has extended her vacation and 3) the office is closed for some unknown reason. THEN, they can't get me in again for 5 months?! It's so ridiculous. One would think that as a courtesy, they would reschedule ASAP at an inconvenience to the dental office, not the patients. Now I have to wait another 5 months to have my teeth cleaned? I have an 18-year-old daughter that I was going to transfer to this office, but not a chance! This is very unprofessional. Dr. Krajekian is by far the best Oral Surgeon in Ohio. I had two dental implants that were improperly placed years ago that gave me problems. Dr Krajekian removed them last week in less than one hour and I was on my way home expecting a very long recovery. It's been only 3 days and I'm already back to work and feeling pain free. They could respond to reviews on yelp from customers that are unhappy. Obviously they don't care to correct mistake mistakes they've made. It's amazing they are able to stay in business. They could send a check for the credit they owe instead of sending bills for it. They could return phone calls when customers call when they are having complications from procedures. They could take responsibility and not make excuses. read more

Billing is terrible. I receive text messages and phone calls re upcoming appointments, great. I had an appointment for my cleaning and because they were running behind I had to rush out to another appointment down the street and did not stop at the desk. Said goodbye to everyone and left. I get a call that I had a balance, OK but the balance included charges from June 2024, really. I always pay and sometimes have had to return because after insurance pays I have a balance. I pay cash and "cannot " find my receipts. So I will pay the $114 and keep better records of receipts. Maybe a text message or phone call to address your bill prior to appointment would be great!​ read more

Stay far, far away from this dental practice. I have no idea how it has the ratings that it does, because this is by far the worst dentist I have ever had. Now that I have been a patient at a different practice, the night and day difference is extreme and I should have switched way sooner. The only issue I did not used to have with this practice was the individuals that run the desks, but even that slipped, once they did not tell the hygienist that I was there for my appointment and I waited almost an hour to be seen. Within the past several months if you call you get placed on hold until it hangs up on you, forcing you to call back and hope the cycle does not repeat. With my recent change, I had to request my records 5 times before they sent it to the new office. The dental hygienists here are often rude and condescending. The dentist I had was Dr. T, and both her and the hygienists would constantly try to tell me I had gum disease or a multitude of other issues, when the reality was that they were pushing whatever product it was that was listed on the latest poster in the exam room, and trying to tell me that they are only recommending those products "to try and help me." That is not true, they were just trying to push and make more money, and I can verify that I do not and have not ever had gum disease or any of the other things that they tried to tell me that I have. The hygienist and the dentist used to argue in front of me about the depth of my gum pockets or whatever else to try and push those products even further and get me to believe that I have a problem that I do not have. Additionally, I had to have a root canal on a front bottom tooth because they just didn't properly review my xrays. The tooth was visibly discoloring for over a year and they just ignored it, I had to advocate for myself and ask why that was happening before they realized it has been over a year that something was wrong underneath. Ignored is a kind term though, it was often that the dentist barely glanced in my mouth when I was there so you can't see what you aren't looking at. It was then that they tried to make excuses of course, but honestly I probably would not have needed the procedure had they actually looked at my images in the large amount of time prior. When they determined that there must have been trauma to the root, they grilled me with questions about how I could have had a trauma in that area for 20 minutes before telling me about a surgeon and next steps. The long and the short, this place is unprofessional and not worth your time. Please go seek out a different practice so these same things do not happen to you. read more

Every person at this practice seems like they love their job! You walk in to a warm greeting from the receptionist and are welcomed back by another smiling face. The reception area is clean and there is a small coffee and water area in case you come in thirsty. The bright and cherry decor match the attitudes as well. This practice offers appointments later than the usual. So it's a great option for working people. I also appreciate that they are timely. I've never waited more than 2 minutes beyond my appointment time. Even if my insurance wasn't accepted here, it would take a lot for me to switch. The service is excellent! read more

2021 l had a wisdom tooth removed, it wasn't bothering me but Derik's assistant said you should have this removed.. worst mistake in my life.Derik told me that he hated being the dentist I should've gotten out of that at the moment. BIG Mistake!! he had no compassion for people he pulled he shot it up. He pulled 20 minutes of torture and he pulled so bad. He messed up the nerves in my ear. I am permanently damaged because he hated being a dentist. Please do not go to him, save yourself! I am have death to in my right ear because of him the pain was excruciating. Nerve damage.! I have been to dental work a few times before. The people that work their are nice. That's not what this review is about... At dental work, you are not viewed as a customer, the system makes you just another "subscriber." I felt like my treatment was based on whether I had the money to join their plan. I just don't have it right now. My information has been in their system for 3-4 appointments and I was listed as male, and 122 years old. Doesn't sound like anyone is paying attention.... I had my teeth cleaned and was told my appointment was over, without ever seeing a dentist. It was simply disheartening to pay money to an organization that doesn't view you as a patient but a payment to their future services. In 12/12/24 I had a 12pm appt for a tooth extraction. I arrived 10 minutes early and filled out the paperwork they needed. One of the docs was a consent for sedation which I was not having so I didn't sign. About 20-30 minutes later a man and his wife come and I hear the same conversation "I am not signing since I am not being sedated." This man was taken before me so I went to the desk and ask how long it would be. The girl asked my name and said "they will see you soon." A girl and her mom come in around 1pm and she is getting her wisdom teeth pulled. They took her back before me so I asked another worker how long it would be since it was like 1:30pm. She asked someone else when they would take me and they said "soon." Finally talked to the man about insurance and he said to wait again. I was finally taken back at 2pm and the doc finally numbed me at 2:30pm. My cubicle had at least 5 delivery (think Amazon) boxes with supplies on the floor. I know this since one of the girls came in there to go through the boxes to find something she needed. There was also a small dolly with 3 big totes up against the wall. This is not very sterile or hygenic. I hear him in the next cubicle talking to wisdom teeth girl and proceeds to take her teeth out. After her, he goes to the cubicle on the other side of me and starts to work on her. After numbing her and listening to her literally scream, he proceeds to walk back to wisdom teeth girl and do more work in there. At 2:55pm, I walked out so mad that I had spent 3 hours there and did not get service. Unorganized and unprofessional!! read more

OK I admit it... For a stretch of over 10 years in my life I didn't employ preventive dental services. So it was with much trepidation when I made my grand return appointment back to the world of dental hygiene 6 years ago. And I have never stopped going back thanks to this Dentalworks! I chose this Dentalworks based on a strong, trusted recommendation from a friend. In the end I couldn't be happier with this choice of dentist. In the 6 years I've been with them, I've never had a problem with the entire staff - reception, check-in, cleaning, filling - they are totally friendly, caring, and give you a lasting impression that they truly enjoy what they do. I tell ya, it's that obvious job satisfaction that clearly shines through in their good work and positive attitudes. Also, their insurance estimation and billing is quick and efficient and they provide friendly reminder calls for appointments - especially handy when you book them up to 6 months in advance! Today I live over 25 miles away from this Dentalworks and there are quite a number of choices along the way. I was searching for a new Dentist due to a new insurance. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ibrahim for 03/10/2023, for routine cleaning and xray. Upon arrival I was informed by the receptionist that my appointment had been cancelled. My response was "why"? She said "because we were unable to contact you to confirm your appointment". Of course I was very upset, especially coming out in heavy snow flurries that day. As she sat at least six feet away from me facing another direction with both of us wearing masks I informed her that I was having a hard time hearing her and if she could please come closer to speak with me. At which point she said she would go to speak with the Dentist. The Dentist office was within eye and ear range. I heard the Dentist laughing! The receptionist returned and informed me that Dentist could see me however I would NOT be able to receive a "cleaning" as scheduled. My response was "never mind", and I left the office. WHY ON EARTH WOULD I SEE A DENTIST AND NOT RECEIVE ANY DENTAL SERVICE??? Well one theory is so that I could be charged for whatever the Dentist decided to bill me for!!! read more

I made an appointment in August for my kids annual check up. They scheduled them for November! They confirmed that appointment, emailed and texted me the appointment, I confirmed with my insurance and was informed that office + doctor is contracted with them. 2 days before the appointment they called me in the morning to yet again confirm the appointment and then they call back 3 hrs later to tell me: oh we do not accept new patients! WHAT??? Hallo?? I waited for months for this appointment (made in August for November) they confirmed a million times and then they do not take new patients?? And then all of a sudden: oh we do not take your insurance!! Well, I called my insurance and dentalworks mayfield is still contracted with my insurance and there are no changes to that. I filled a complained with my insurance because this is just shady and highly unprofessional. They waited until the last minuted to pull this BS out of their hat! They had months to tell me they will not accept us! Naturally, I will not be able to get the kids an appointment until next year. But I will stay far away from Dental works from now on. read more

The office is always neat and clean and the treatment rooms are separate and not just curtained off. The front desk staff always greet us pleasantly upon arrival and frequently chat with the patients and family in between phone calls and other patients. Dr. Joshi and his assistant, Jen, are absolutely wonderful. I have always had problems with Novocaine shots, but Dr. Joshi made things so much easier than they have been with prior offices. He and Jen both are warm and caring; they take time to explain everything and talk TO you and not AT you. Dr. Tabachnik took care of a temporary partial for me and was just as kind as everyone else. Marcus, one of the assistants, is a very nice young man who has very gentle hands and tries very hard not to cause any discomfort to his patients. Overall, this is the best dental office that we've used; the entire staff is second to none. We drive an hour to get to this location - and there are many other dental offices between our home and this office - but it is worth the drive. read more
