I previously had work done at the dental works Strongsville location.. unbeknownst to me they no longer covered my insurance plan...on top of that you have to make an appointment online now..so I make my appointment almost 2mo. in advance...well one of the receptionists called to get my information so I tell her just a minute so I can retrieve my insurance card to which she state don't worry she'll call me back in a few minutes no problem...well I never got the call back..fast forward to the day of my appointment I drive all the way out there to be told they/ dentist no longer carry my plan..my thing is I scheduled my appointment months out ..so why when the receptionist called if she would've done her job all of the unnecessary things I had to go through could've been prevented...would I be wrong if I said it was the black female receptionist who called but never called back( I'm an African American too by the way) ??smh she won't lose any pay for not doing what she's paid to do but not only did I lose valuable time money & gas I also still have to find another dental office...maybe it's not dental works maybe it's the people who they employ who aren't being professional read more

Been going here for a while, was scheduled for a cleaning they cancelled it because my hygienist broke there arm. I have tried to reschedule and no one here answers the phone or calls anyone back, I have left 10 voicemails since. Does anyone even work here? I have been a customer of Dental Works for over 25 years. I have never had a problem with customer service, care and satisfaction until about 3 years ago when there was a change in management. On 12-18-25, I was informed by the receptionist that I had an approximate credit of nearly $180 due to various overbilling past charges. This was the first time I was notified of this credit amount. I requested a refund on 12-18-25 and that's were the difficulties and dissatisfaction with Dental Works began. It has continued to this day. The office manager told me that it would take 3-6 weeks to get the refund. As of 2-11-26, I have NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND AFTER 7 WEEKS. When I made refund inquires on 2-2-26 and 2-10-26, the office manager showed little concerned about the length of time that had past and an unwillingness of providing a possible resolve to the unreasonable delay in getting the refund. When I asked where do I go as a next step to get the refund, she said there is no number I can call or am unable to make contact with anyone at corporate headquarters regarding this matter. She may have given the impression through her words and actions that my persistent inquiries about this refund matter was a bother and an annoyance. I'm left with no idea when if ever I will receive my refund. Very poor customer service and work practices are presently at Dental Works Strongsville. The customer service at Dental Works has declined greatly since a change in management about 3 years ago particularly with regards to billing and refund procedures. My thoughts about Dental Works in Strongsville has changed over the past year and a half. Several of my appointments were cancelled by them because they didn't have a hygienist available. When I finally got an appointment scheduled they sent me several text messages reminding me about the upcoming appointment, but when I arrived at their office, they were not open. The door was closed and the lights were out. I called them, and as usual when they are not open, there is no one to talk to. You can not leave a message. I finally was able to book another appointment which went very well with both the hygienist and the dentist. The staff is friendly enough but they didn't have an explanation on what is going on with them, only that they were hoping to get a second hygienist. read more

Billing practices here are horrible. They will charge you for work you already paid for. Trying to resolve any billing issues is impossible. They will tell you they understand and will take care of it. A month later the same billing is sent to me. Nothing was resolved. You go around and around with these people. read more

I have been a patient of this for over 15 years, and have been generally pleased with the service and the dentist. However, I am now looking for a new dentist because of my recent treatment. I had an appointment this morning that I received three emails reminding me of. When I arrived at the office this morning, I was told that my hygienist was not in today and at the office had tried to call me and tell me this. I did not receive any calls, any voicemails, any emails, about this change. I canceled two other meetings this morning to keep and I am very disturbed that I was not notified. I was told there was no appointment available throughout the month of November. I find this extremely unprofessional, and the "management" that I asked to speak to apparently asked the hygienist to fit me in- but "she's not going to fit you in today". Dr. Grande , I would give you zero stars if that was an option. I've never had an issue with DentalWorks, admin staff lovely, you sir are arrogant and if I could go somewhere else I would but no Dentist will finish someone else's work! God forbid I ask you to explain my services apparently you are to arrogant and busy to make sure your patient understands what is happening, I have a 10 phase plan with DentalWorks and one of my appointments was cancelled day of 3 weeks ago (by DW) and I guess it's on me to assume my newly scheduled appointment would include that phase but you couldn't take the time to explain to me why it didn't then told me you would call 911 if I didn't leave because you didn't want to explain to me why I was confused even after I said am I asking the wrong questions? Because I'm so confused! I was still wearing the dental bib when you said I had to leave so sorry I wasn't aware I was even done. If I have the choice to go somewhere else I will. I will make sure I continue to report your arrogant ill behavior because you don't deserve to be a dentist and I'm sure you're at Dental works because it's built in clientele because there is no way anyone would choose to come to you for service. read more

I just got out of the hospital and while there - they had to intubate me during my surgery. As a result, they broke my front tooth (which had been broken back in 1975 and likely needed renewed). They did a full exam to make sure the broken tooth wasn't the result of deeper issues. In the end - they did just what I asked for them to do. The Dentist was excellent! He took my front teeth back to the original state and rebuilt them to what I felt was a perfect fix. Unlikely to be a problem for another 30 years! read more

Extreme poor customer service. I had scheduled a Saturday appointment for myself and my son a year in advance just to make sure we will be able to be seen. About 3 weeks before the appointment they told me that they can't see us on a Saturday because the technician is not there. I asked her what was the scope of me scheduling a year in advance? She didn't answer was trying to push for a mid week appointment which I told her clearly that I can't do reason for which I scheduled a year in advance. She was in a big rush to finish with the call and didn't care if the place she worked for will loose another client or not. Really really poor customer service. read more

This is what they consider as treatment after having braces for 2 years. They don't owe up to their mistake. I'm sorry but clearly this is not called treatment. Don't go here they will lie to you and take your money. My overbite was never fixed like he said it would be either and my teeth look horrible. read more

Horrible! Scheduled my boys for their second cleaning apts here and when we got there they informed me they do not take our insurance. They took all my insurance info over the phone when we made the apts so why didn't they know that when I made them? The receptionist made me feel horrible for it in front of a full waiting room of people. Horrible customer service and will NEVER recommend them to anyone! read more

Dr. Thomas was fantastic! Not only is he a professional that moves smoothly along, but although performing a surgical procedure on my gums, he had me laughing.
