I was immediately greeted upon walking in and the space is absolutely gorgeous and welcoming. When I was taken to the dentist chair, the screens had my name on there to welcome me. This personal touch is above and beyond and reminded me of how the TV screens look when you check-in to a nice hotel. They have state of the art technology so I was able to get my teeth scanned at a 360 machine and their x-rays can detect cavities or spots that should be monitored. My dentist and technician were both super patient with me and super gentle. I definitely got babied and pampered during my time here. When my cleaning was finished, I was offered a scented cloth to wipe my face/mouth! Also, if you come earlier or have the time to stay later, they have a massage chair that you're welcome to use to really add to the dental spa experience! When it comes to small business these folks are the heart of it. It's so nice to see that these folks aren't tied to a bigger corporation or conglomerate. They're just people who understand how to treat people. I think it speaks heavily to their character and their priorities. Dr. S is incredibly personable and has such a bright attitude. It always lights up my day when I see him. He's always open to educating his patients and makes sure they understand what's going on. I never feel lost or anxious with his answers to my questions, and it's so nice to see someone who can meet you at your level. If you're searching for a family dentist and you don't know who to trust, these folks are your answer. I've never in my life been given noise canceling headphones and been able to watch Netflix at any other dental office in my entire life!!! That attention to detail is NOT common. And it obviously shows through their work too. Since I needed to see a periodontist for a gum graft, I ended up seeing Dr. Atassi. Dr. Atassi was pleasant, soft-spoken, gentle, and confident. He explained that I'd need two separate grafts, which would be completed over several weeks. I ended up seeing Dr. Attasi both in Mokena and at his office in Darien. My former dentist had told me that I'd need a gum graft, but I put it off out of fear. I'd also seen a periodontist in Orland Park that told me the graft would cost $3500 out-of-pocket. The large expense also gave me pause, so that contributed to me blowing off the procedure. Anyway, Dr. Atassi said that I shouldn't put off the graft and said the procedure wouldn't be painful. I'd done a lot of research about the dentist office in Mokena before scheduling an initial appointment, so I decided to trust Dr. Atassi. I figured if Mill Pond Dental had him on staff, then he must be knowledgeable and competent. Both gum grafts were virtually painless and free of complications. Dr. Atassi took the time to explain the procedure and everything that he'd be doing before he began. He also answered all of my questions. Following the procedure, I was provided with detailed post-op instructions. The office staff also called to see how I was feeling the day after the surgery. Dr. Attasi's office is bright, clean, and comfortable. The staff I encountered were always pleasant and polite. It's been several weeks post-op and my gums have healed beautifully. i haven't had any issues and I'm pleased with the results. I'm glad that I was lucky enough to end up seeing Dr. Atassi. If I ever need periodontal work in the future, I won't hesitate to reach out to Dr. Atassi again.
