I'm extremely disappointed with the level of service and lack of accountability at this office. I had a cleaning in January and was told I needed cavities filled. The soonest appointment they could offer me was April, which is already a long wait for necessary dental work. On the day of that appointment, I received a call saying the dentist was "busy" and I needed to reschedule. Frustrating, but I understood and rescheduled. Fast forward to today -- I had to call to reschedule due to a scheduling conflict, and I was immediately told I would be charged a $75 same-day cancellation fee. I explained that my original appointment had been canceled by THEIR office on the same day, and I didn't feel it was fair to be penalized for something they had already done to me. There was zero empathy or understanding -- just attitude. After that, I was told the next available appointment isn't until June. So not only has my treatment been delayed for months, but I was almost charged for a policy they themselves didn't follow. This office clearly has no consistency, no respect for patients' time, and no accountability when it comes to their own scheduling issues. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value professionalism and timely care. read more

Shadow Rock Dentistry is the worst dentistry practice I have ever experienced. The same filling twice repaired in less than a year - never in entire life has that happened. A third time before a trip overseas and fully relaying the urgency of the repair and the pain it inflicted and instead they charged for an 'evaluation' - not the repair. I leave tomorrow in horrible pain for 7 days and not a care in the world to fit me in. I cannot say enough about the unprofessional lack of care to patient pain. Go somewhere else if you have urgent needs - they will only 'evaluate' in what you expect to be a day to repair the issue. I made this appointment May 26th. June 2nd I came in and having fully explained my situation all they did was take x-ray to the obvious issue that a filling they installed yet again failed. I have severe anxiety about the dentist from traumatizing experiences in the past at other dentists. However since I started seeing Dr. Vikash, my anxiety lessens every time I have an appointment. I'm one of the unlucky people gifted with poor enamel and my dental issues are neverending however Dr. Vikash has renewed my ability to address my issues in a timely manner without fear or trepidation. His entire staff is aware of my dental anxiety and they always go above and beyond to make me comfortable and ease my agitation. Today Dr. Vikash finished the final appointment giving me my new smile and I'm over the moon! He's extremely thorough, highly skilled, gentle and makes certain every procedure is perfectly executed. I went to my previous dentist I have gone to for years and told him I was experiencing pain in the tooth I got a filling in. He told me he wasnt sure what they had filled and it looked like shadow rock didn't finish filling my tooth therefore leaving a hold in my tooth. He filled it and all is well. I had a HORRIBLE experience with this dentistry. I've been going to an amazing dentist in centennial for years but was informed they don't accept my insurance anymore. Needed to get a cleaning so I tried shadow rock. The dental hygienist was so rude. Wouldn't answer any of the questions I had and shrugged me off. She informed me I had three cavities. I made an apt to get them filled. They were too quick with the whole procedure. The lady who polished my teeth didn't polish them nearly as long as she should've therefore leaving them feeling rough. I thought they would feel better after brushing them but a couple months later and I feel like I have cobwebs over my teeth. They feel disgusting every time I eat. Not impressed with this place. A cleaning was scheduled for about 3 weeks out. I get a message day of asking to come in earlier. well I can't because of work, that's why I my appointment was so far out. So because I can't come in early they have to reschedule my appointment another week plus out... If I could do no stars I would. 1. I made a teeth cleaning appt for myself and husband and when we showed up, jazmin, the receptionist, said she gave our appts away!!!!!! What??????? I waited over a month for these appts! She said she tried to confirm the appts and we didn't confirm. Um let me say this. I got an email to confirm, Clicked on the link to confirm, yet it was still unconfirmed!!?? I freaked out. They "lightly" apologized and rescheduled us. Bunch of Crap! Also, I've always been reminded of appts, not required to confirm. Stupid! 2. As I went in for my postponed appt, I saw they had a sign our for free teeth whitening, no fine print. I get inside and they said it was for new patients! I told them I was never offered that when I was new patient!! Stoke two! What a load of crap!!!! 3. The girl that did my cleaning was annoying. She kept trying to get me to laugh or something. And the thing is, she was in my mouth. What type of response are u looking for???? You're not entertaining me, you don't need to distract me, I'm not a child. 4. I was told by the dentist there, that I'll need a root canal and crown on bottom back tooth. No problem, Let's schedule that. So they schedule it in two appts, two weeks apart. They want $400 up front each time!!!!? Yeah ok, I got $800 to give u in a two week period. Jazmin said they do that so I have my pay periods lined up with appts! LOL!! Because I don't have bills!? Hello?? I asked to do a payment plan that I could pay all that in a month in a half to two months. No way! They need their money up front. I went to this office for the first time for a routine cleaning. It was awful from the get go. The woman doing the xrays didn't believe me that I needed the kid size equipment and insisted that she could use the regular bite wings. My mouth was so bruised and sore that eventually she had to use the kids size and never offered the smallest apology. Then after an hour of X-ray misery I was informed I had 9 cavities. Considering I have only had 3 my whole life I thought this a bit strange. Against my better judgment I returned for the worst filling experience ever. The lady the did the the actual filling was abrasive and rude and insinuated that I was a drug addict when I said I didn't think the nitrous was working. Eventually I made a big enough deal that they looked and realized the tank was empty. They charged me $100 dollars for the nitrous which thankfully they refunded but not voluntarily. The rude lady that did my fillings kept saying "good enough " when she was setting the filling. Well it wasn't "good enough " as the fillings were so uncomfortable that I returned a week later and they attempted to fix it but never did. I never returned to have the rest of the 6 cavities filled. Fast forward 6 months and a new dentist. Turns out that the 3 fillings she did were so bad they all need to be redone. The good news is after new X-rays were taken I learned I had no additional cavities that needed to be filled. Completely contradictory to what this awful dentist office office had claimed. This office is rude from the get go, the assistant who filled my teeth shouldn't have a license as I heard her belittling a man the first time I was in for the cleaning as he was in pain from her. This office intentionally over charges for work that doesn't need to be done and then has the nerve to do a terrible job. I recommend, literally, ANY other dentist office. read more

I will first say that I am way overdue for a visit. I chose Shadow Rock because I was not satisfied with other dentists I had been to in Castle Rock for various reasons (too many patients, office too busy, assistants do all the work, no convenient times available). Dr. Vic had just opened this location upstairs in the new business building on Wilcox when I first went. He also has an office in Colorado Springs (I think). He is a very warm and personable guy with gentle hands. He performed all the work. His office is modern with new equipment. There are flat screen TVs mounted on an arm at each chair. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. He did a great job cleaning my teeth. Fortunately, all my teeth were happy, and I didn't need any additional services. I brought my then 4 year old son up there to have his teeth checked out. My son happily watched a cartoon in the waiting room while I was back. His turn was easy, Dr. Vic made him feel right at ease. I've met some of his family up there, they are a great bunch. I hope you consider him for a visit, you will not be disappointed. My five kids and I have been going to Shadow Rock, for about 7 years now. I've never had a bad experience there. The front desk staff are always super nice, and the doctors here are really great! I've never had them do unnecessary dental work. My kids LOVE going, and they do a great job keeping them calm and happy. Shadow Rock Dentistry should not be in business. I am sharing experiences of two of my children. They not only butchered my son's mouth up, they also messed up my daughter's procedure and left her in pain more than once. They don't even try to rectify their mistakes. My heart broke when I saw what they did to my son. His face was black and blue and he was in excruciating pain. It was horrific to see. I have heard from others as well about their disappointment with this business. They should have their license revoked....which hopefully happens soon. For anyone who has ever had a bad experience with this business, you can go to The Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) on the state's website to report it. This was recommended by another dentist who saw what happened to my son's mouth. The other dentist said he couldn't fix what Shadow Rock did, but he could make him a bit more comfortable with some meds. There are several good dentists in the area that are reputable....so, keep that in mind when looking for a dentist. read more

It has been three years since my one and only appointment at Shadow Rock. It was one of the worst decisions I have made in the 62 years I've been alive. The doctor talked me into extractions that were not necessary and then was unable to perform either one of them due, he said, to very deep roots of my molars. He was only able to grind and break them to nubs. I have no chewing surface remaining and face enormous costs to repair what he did. He has made no offer or effort to correct things other than to recommend I go to an oral surgeon. What I remember most and will never forget is that this was the most excruciating painful experience of my life. My advice is, if you have no other alternative than Shadow Rock Denistry, you couldn't do worse by ripping out your tooth with a pair of pliers by yourself. read more

If 0 stars was an option, I would give it 0. The Castle Rock office has a semi-nice waiting room to help reel in the patients; however, if you are unfortunate enough to have to have oral surgery they send you to their Parker office which resembles an underground surgery clinic in a third world country. Not only was the procedure not fully explained (I was not told that the extraction of this tooth would need to have an implant at a later date; my sister-in-law who is a dentist in TX told me this information), but when I called to tell the dentist I was still in severe pain and bleeding profusely I was told the dentist had left the office for the day. The woman on the phone told me to just take double the pain medication. I repeatedly asked if this was okay and if I would need a refill since I would go through the medication twice as fast and my question was ignored. After calling MULTIPLE times the following day, I finally reached the woman I had spoken with the previous day and she told me to stop taking my antibiotics. I then told her to hold on bc I would like to record this conversation, as this medical advice is counter to everything I've ever been told and she hung up on me. After several more phone calls, the doctor called me back and advised me to take more antibiotics for the pain. So thank you Shadow Rock Dentistry for the worst dental experience of my life. If you value your teeth or your sanity I would advise you to look elsewhere for dental care. read more
