The fence failed inspection because it was not installed in compliance with code. We have spent more than six months trying to resolve these issues directly with the company. Despite repeated requests, they have refused to correct the problems, forcing us to hire and pay another fencing company to bring the fence into legal compliance. They also installed a gate that swings the wrong direction and failed to install the required self-closing hardware on the walk-through gate for our pool fence. Our experience has been frustrating and expensive. We expected a safe, code-compliant installation but instead were left with significant safety and code violations that another contractor had to correct. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Flores Fencing.

Most days someone was here by 8 am. They worked most of the day, focused on details, and cleaned up before they left each day. Erick was always accessible answering or returning most calls within an hour. We agreed on a budget for both projects, we paid him as milestones were met, and his estimates were reasonable. I then started back up on the internet and came across Green Rhino Landscapes, I seen a reveiw that sparked interest and the gentlemen even left his number (mind you the work had been done a while back) so I picked up the phone and called him. This gentlemen spoke "highly" about the quality of work and the reliability of Ryan and his workers. I then called Ryan and explained my scope of work and he came to the house, looked at the drawings I had and gave me plenty of time to explain what I wanted. Ryan never came across as a wise guy but he did one thing that the other guys didn't do and that was he listened and reviewed my drawings and also gave me some advise as to what would work better for my yard. We exchanged some paperwork and off he went. Within No time I had an estimate emailed to me. Ryan was very patient with me while I made changes to the plan, not once, not twice but three (maybe more) times. He also provided new estimates each time. Once everything was agreed apon, Ryan and his crew were here on the day and time coordinated. The work that was done was 110% above expectation. The stone border was installed properly and every square inch is level. Quality of work was the highest I have ever seen. The job site during the building process was kept clean each day. The materials used were exactually what we wanted, stone selection matched our existing stone on our home. I as the homeowner had input and any questions I had during any part of the job, Ryan took the time to explain in detail. I was never left out of the process. I am a very detailed person and I like to know where my money is being spent, I watched every process and feel that at No time was I over charged for any materials or at No time was the work short changed in any step. I contracted with Tri Star to repair some major issues on two exterior walls. Both have continued…read moreto leak, and Tri Star told me it was a roofing issue. I contracted with a roofer, and when they came to do the work, it turns out the walls were not completed properly: there is no plywood nor wall wrap in the leaking areas (which is itemized on my contract with Tri Star). I contacted Tri Star to come and redo the work, even sent pictures of the problem areas, and called to make sure they received the photos. That was on March 12, and I have not heard back. Additionally, they took almost four times as long as estimated to do the work. And even then, the work was not completed as contracted, and I have now paid Tri Star more than $10000, and my walls still leak, and the work I have paid them to do is being damaged because the work was not done correctly. There are other construction companies in Denton: find one of them.
