Stopped here in middle of a long drive. So glad I did! Friendly staff, nice selection, hot pizza. The calzone was so big and full of cheese- hot and delicious! Clean and inviting restaurant with checkered tables

Cute little pizza shop in the heart of Denton. The atmosphere was exactly how you'd expect it to be for a small shop. Food was fast and great. Nothing to complain about as far as the service goes. Will definitely return.

Pizza and cheesesteak were average at best. Pizza had a very sweet sauce, and the cheesesteak needed significant seasoning at table.

Osteria Alfredo…read more It's still called Osteria Alfredo. It's still at 210 Marlboro, between the Acme and the arched movie theater entrance. Like me, you may have heard this restaurant has a new owner. It does: Anthony Guessregen. Some people have announced they've heard negatives or they're so reluctant to deal with changes to what they're used to, that they won't even try it. They are mistaken. Please pay them no mind! I've been there twice in the past week, and I feel as at home with Anthony there as I did with Alfredo. The menu is different (of course!) and, as before, there are many tempting items to choose from: try the calamari; try the swordfish, or the avocado and shrimp salad, or a loaded burger! All items on the dessert menu sound close to irresistible -- except I forgot to leave "space" for one. I'll learn how to, for sure! There are now tablecloths throughout during lunch as well as dinner. The atmosphere is perfect for your clients or your friends. I highly recommend Osteria Alfredo Restaurant, though in my mind it's already Osteria Anthony. I'll be going back there again very soon!

In fact this is now our #1 Italian restaurant for happy hour. We were here on Wednesday for happy hour at the bar. I will summarize our two most recent visits here: I started with my favorite two Limontinis for $11 each. They offered a half price bottle of wine special. We opted for the Tinto Negro Malbec red wine for $40, which was discounted down to $20. The Tinto Negro tasted great. I also enjoyed my usual Bob's happy hour meatballs with crostini for $11. My total bill was $81 less gratuity. I was awarded a Local by Toast Reward program annual birthday reward credit in the amount of $10 so my bill was reduced down to $71 less gratuity. Our bartender Sabina G. applied my $10 birthday credit to my bill, which reduced it down to $71 less gratuity. I like how easy it was for me to apply for my $10 birthday credit using my mobile phone number under the Local by Toast Reward program. We returned here again in January with our friends. I enjoyed my usual two Limontinis, my Yuenling draft beer and my three Bob's meat balls. My total bile was $57.25. Sabina served us very well both times by being very customer friendly. We all agreed we will continue to return here when we are in the mood for good Italian.

First of all, can we just talk about how cute historic Stevensville is?!!! There's a cute little historic Post Office and cute little shops. Anyway, the food here was great! We came a bit early so we were seated right away in the bar portion of the restaurant. But mid-dinner, the place started getting packed! This is a popular place! We started with drinks. She ordered a smoked old fashioned which was an experience! The smoke lingered for a bit. I got the limoncello martin, which had this delicious foam on top. They were both STOUT drinks and very tasty. For dinner I ordered the special, which was the Seafood Cannelloni. OMG, it was so good! The pasta tubes were stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and spinach. The sambuca cream sauce was divine! It was sweet. Not overly sweet, but enough to keep you going in for another bite. I ate the whole dish!!! My partner ordered the Linguine Seven Fishes. She loved it. Overall, it was a great experience! My friend ordered the lasagna and salad, which they'd had before and enjoyed. I was torn between the shrimp scampi and the 7 Fishes, which both sounded wonderful. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which came with asparagus "tips" and "fresh" tomatoes. The server asked if I would prefer angel hair to the spaghetti it comes with. I thought angel hair was a given for scampi, but I said yes, angel hair please. When the server brought our food and put my plate down in front of me, I can only describe the feeling as disappointment. It was a pile of mush with a few shrimp on top. It was spaghetti, not angel hair, and it had been cooked to death and was water logged. Same with asparagus and tomatoes, which were also cooked to death to the point where they were unrecognizable and tasteless. There was not one asparagus tip; rather, it was tiny chopped bits of mushy stalk. I couldn't tell if the red mush was tomato or red pepper. The shrimp were seasoned well and tasted good, but they were also a bit overcooked. Everything else was tasteless. Once the server brought our food, she didn't come back until we were done. She then noticed all my spaghetti noodles and asked why I didn't say something about it not being angel hair. I was like, because you didn't come back! I ate the shrimp out of it and took the pasta home with me. I put it in a skillet on the stove top and added herbs and spices and was able to evaporate some of the water out of the noodles. What I made out of it was fantastic. I would go again if someone else wanted to go there, but I think the key is to order something that's hard to screw up, like pizza, lasagna, etc. I make better food at home.

Mecca was our very caring waitstaff. Melissa was the Manager. My companion and I each had a concern, about which we spoke with Melissa. We said we'd mention these in our Yelp review. 1. I came in just after the restaurant opened at 11:30 am. To my horror, the floors were soaking wet. My walking stick (both I and my friend are senior citizens) nearly flew out of my hands. I nearly fell -- but caught myself. Such washing, important as it is, needs to be done -- and be thoroughly dry! -- well before ANY guests arrive! 2. My friend couldn't easily enter the restaurant because the door is very heavy and she couldn't reach the single cleat that was intended as a grab bar. A server came to her rescue and helped her inside. In order to keep us seniors independent and UNembarrased for as long as possible, more grab bars and a railing need to be installed at the primary entry as well as at the secondary one. The 2nd entrance, also on Talbot Street, should be available ALL THE TIME; this entry has no steps into the restaurant, and there are easily reachable tables right there. In many ways I highly recommend this restaurant, with the above-described cautions appropriately taken into account.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.
