If you're not gluten free this review is irrelevant to you. What changed?! I'm not sure but something has absolutely changed with the Gluten Free crust. Transparently, before my last order this would've been a 5 star. Great GF crust, great pizza. The last time my husband and I ordered out, I hated it. The crust was crumbly like a cookie and just awful. I was so confused and almost scared that I ordered the wrong thing. I didn't. I was so pumped to review them for GF safety, flavor, etc. Only to be totally underwhelmed by the pizza in the picture. Y'all are awesome but if you change that crust. Please change it back! Great fast service, however, the Pizza and Bread were the best part. There were 6 of us so we got to try a little sample of a lot of dishes. I had the Alfredo it was adequate nothing over special. Meh..... My daughter had the penne Al's vodka the sauce was not great and seemed to be very spicy compared to others. My dad had the veal parm. The veal was crisp cooked well and tender but the red sauce was acidic not sweet and fresh as I would have hoped for. Definitely not using San Maranzaro ? Tomatoes just not impressed. The alfourno was ok same red sauce issue I had with it. Although it seemed that the ricotta and other cheeses kind of cut the acidity a little but still not a sweet tomato sauce... My wife and mom got eggplant dishes my moms was way over cheesed and just was kind of greasy and my wife got something that had spinach or rolled the eggplant was so thick it was not good and she only had a few bites. I found the house salad fresh but the house dressing lacked flavor was very bland needed at a minimum salt to give it some flavor. We were a party of 6 . Our waitress was very good and attentive. We ordered a cheese pizza for an appetizer. That was delicious! One person had Fettuccine Alfredo, it was very good. I ordered eggplant parmigiana the sauce had no flavor, and there was so much cheese on it, you couldn't taste the eggplant. I almost choked on the cheese. Another person had the eggplant rolotini, that wasn't any better than the parmigiana. The pasta with Vodka sauce was just okay, and one ordered a rigatoni dish , that wasn't any better. We tossed out most of the food. The salad was ok, I had many dark wilted lettuce in the salad. The house dressing had no flavor. I feel all of the meals were very overpriced as well. I love Italian food. Even though I do not have a hint of Italian blood in my veins, seafood pasta is my go-to dish, either when eating out or when cooking at home for my picky toddler. If I were competing on "Beat Bobby Flay" on Food TV, I think I might end up picking linguini with shrimp in an alfredo sauce (And yes, I know Italians don't do alfredo; it seems to be a uniquely American creation). I say all this to simply note that I have some understanding of Italian food and even though this place has a distinctly Italian vibe with paintings from Italy, a server who surely looked like she had Italian ancestry in her DNA, and menu items in Italian, the food itself failed to make much of an impression on me. We ordered the calamari as our appetizer. My wife had the Frutti di Mare - clams, mussels, shrimp and scallops in white wine broth whereas I had the cozze - mussels in spicy marinara. None of the three dishes made much of an impression on me. I am used to seeing calamari that is golden brown in appearance and is often served with fried bell peppers but here the calamari had a more pale yellow appearance and the batter was remarkably flavorless. Neither were there fried bell peppers which seems to be a common accompaniment to the calamari. My own dish - the mussels in spicy marinara sauce - was fine but not exceptional. There was far too much oil but too little cheese. I was almost tempted to ask for cheese but refrained from doing so. I also tried out my wife's dish - the seafood in white wine broth and found it to be too salty and again, quite bland. My wife indicated that she had already squeezed a ton of lemon on her pasta and it was still quite salty. Thus, having tried out three dishes, I can say with some confidence that none of them resonated with me and to a great extent, this was true for my wife as well. (In all fairness, I think she enjoyed the calamari more than I did.) Accordingly, even though we had some room in our bellies at the end, we decided not to order a dessert. All in all, the place disappointed us. I don't see myself coming back here again and would much rather try out a different place if I were in the Milford area. read more

Delicious spot for pizza and subs. Snagged an impromptu lunch here after a local soul food restaurant was completely vacant and so glad we did. The vodka sauce was broken, the soup was inedible, everything lacked seasoning. Bland is too kind. The only bright spot was the bread, which was fresh. I can guarantee the overpriced food is reheated and not fresh made. There were no sounds from the kitchen. In fact, when we looked in the kitchen, no one was cooking. I've opened jars of Ragu that were fresher and tastier than anything you get here. Save your money and get something frozen from Stouffer's, it'll taste better. I paid for a meal I didn't eat. I was asking some friends who live locally where a good place for dinner was while we were in the area. Mama Maria's did not disappoint. For appetizer we got the calamari and it was so good. It had a drizzle of a basalmic glaze which was a nice surprise and really complimented the dish. I ordered the scallops with angel hair and Alfredo sauce. The Alfredo was perfectly creamy and the scallops were perfectly seared. My husband got the chicken Parmesan sub and he said it was really good. He is typically reluctant to get fried food on bread but he said it was all well balanced. We will definitely be back. read more

I'm a long time customer. Called and ordered a pizza to be picked up. Ordered my pizza to be half baked so I could finish it at home (we always do this). I felt unsure that the gentleman taking the order understood and I repeated everything and asked for confirmation. When I picked it up - they did not have my name and had to search the order by its ingredients. It was not half baked and was cut (which makes trying to heat it finish it on a stone a nightmare). I noted that these directions were not on the order ticket and pointed that out. The cashier said "sorry" Pizza was $32. I don't mind paying that but do expect my order to be correct . It was expensive at $26 for a regular size pizza even with large slices. I wouldn't go here very often simply based on the high price point. I stopped by for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed dining here after reading some of the reviews. The restaurant had a relaxing atmosphere and the service was good. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and a Chianti wine. The wine tasted high quality and I was served a generous pour. The pizza was large with a sizable portion of toppings and it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I especially liked how there were several condiments on the table to put on your pizza (red pepper flakes, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and oregano).
