Then one day they were out of the office. Nothing was ever mentioned, and a New dentist was there. I stayed because of the Hygienist, Angie, who was wonderful. I was shuffled to different dentists and I noticed a whole new vibe in the office. Then one day I had a toothache, in my experience when someone has a toothache you get them in ASAP. I called the office on Wednesday. They gave me an appointment on Friday even when I told them I was in discomfort. Friday arrives and I get a phone call that the dentist said she didn't have enough time for me on that day and she would see me the following Wednesday when she could devote more time. I was in shock. She could've brought me in taking an x-ray and giving me a prescription. But I was being shuffled again, a person with an infection in pain. I decided I would never go back and plus I found out my Hygienist left also along with other office staff and personnel. The quality of care has totally gone downhill. You don't want an office that's corporate. It becomes all about the dollars not you. I have found a wonderful office in Freehold with a husband and wife who own their practice and care about their patients. The way it should be. Beware of this office.

When I went into exam room, Jennna took my history and asked questions about my dental problem. Her manner also put me at ease. Meeting Dr Zatzkin was next... he listened to my long complicated history and I mean he really listened. I liked him immediately. We discussed my treatment plan and I feel much better that I now have an action plan. My experience so far with this practice has been nothing but extremely positive. And Dr. Z ensures that you know what to do for proper aftercare, leaving nothing to nothing to chance. His post-procedure call to check up on me that evening was the icing on the that cake. This won't be the first rave review I've written about Dr. Zatzkin and his office--just the latest since I began my long journey to better gum health well over a decade back, including implants, a first gum graft and pinhole gum surgery he's qualified to perform, which was both successful and virtually a cakewalk thanks to his mastery of the procedure. Hey, it's not an exciting topic, but I think of Dr. Z's expertise and good nature as symbolic of something grander in terms of my having complete confidence in his skills in a world where most of us find our confidence in services severely lagging.
