Based on that, we trusted the process. Then communication from Lily and Aiden completely stopped. For three straight weeks, multiple follow-ups were ignored. When Lily, the Chief of Staff, finally responded, there was zero accountability for the lack of communication. Instead, the response was dismissive and defensive. At that point, we were told our son could play--but not on the team we were originally assured wouldn't be an issue. By then, the opportunity for him to play with his friends was already gone. This wasn't a complicated situation--it was simply handled poorly from start to finish. The lack of responsiveness, organization, and basic professionalism is unacceptable, especially for something involving kids. The entire experience felt careless and poorly managed. If you're a parent considering this organization, don't rely on what you're told upfront and be prepared for little to no communication when it actually matters.

I had such a great time playing through the organization "meet, play, chill" and drinking was allowed so that made it even more fun! If you have played here, you know it's hot, though they do try to combat this with giant fans. My #1 issue is the lack of room for guests/watchers. I would always invite friends and family to our games and they would sadly sit one the concrete floor. I understand that is how this place was built, but just an honest review in comparison to some of the other facilities I've played at! Glad it's still around. The desk with snacks also has a ball pump which is super helpful. Also shouts out Orlando, he is such a kind, fun, and honest ref.

We really aren't sure where that $59 per person…read moreregistration fee goes...it adds up to AT LEAST $12,000 PER SEASON for all the registration fees collected. -You don't get paid referees, so you're at the mercy of other players who have been assigned to ref for that week (which results in horrible calls and more arguing/tension than needed) -The person who runs the game doesn't have a permit to play on the field and actually got a ticket for playing an organized sport without the permit during our championship game -The fields you play on are horrible--there are tons of trees, you're next to a river, and it's not lighted so playing at night gets pretty difficult -The t-shirts got to us at our FOURTH game -The championship trophy wasn't present at the championship game--he has to mail it to us because he didn't order it with enough time to account for shipping delays -The ball we played with for the first 3 games was egg-shaped (not round) Horrible.

Needless to say, I had an awesome time and decided to join their Bar Sports league. Fast forward a few years.. I've made so many friends and connections through Nakid. I want to reiterate, this is a social league. If you're looking for an ultra-competitive kickball league, this is probably not going to be your cup of tea. This is an amazing league for people who want to meet more people and be social. Oh, and did I mention that we love to drink? I would recommend one of their beginning/end of season parties at Jackson's if you're a little unsure.

Schaefer Athletic Complex has multiple ball fields for games. There are smaller bench seats for…read moreseating, but no covering or shade. The walkways leading up to the fields are all dirt. Be prepared if you watch games in hot weather or during the many unpredictable storms in the Denver metro area. Bring an umbrella for shade or rain. There are also trees in the center between all fields, where chairs can be set up to watch games in the shade. Concession stands are open depending on the event.

The restrooms are clean and usable, the trash is not overflowing and the concession stand had really good stuff at reasonable prices. I never realized how much I missed the camaraderie team sports provide until I joined Team Hi-Dive and they let me wear a dress when I kick balls. Plus this organization not only "supports drunk people running around in the hot, arid summer air" they also have fundraising and charity events and get 20 & 30 somethings together weekly in an active event. And if you think kickball is "easy" I'll have you know it was hard to walk for about 2 days after my first practice. And if you pitch it's basically like doing lunges for an hour and a half. The games are fun to play and fun to watch and whoever wins at the end gets the magical Golden Boot as a prize. Man, I'd like to touch the boot.

The people who run it are all…read moresweetest nicest people and the sports you can play are the coolest: soccer, lacrosse, kickball and if-you-can-dodge-a-car-you-can-dodge-a-ball dodge ball. Plus, if you're a member (or pretend to be), every first Wednesday of the month, Play Coed and Wahoo's Fish Tacos team up for happy hour provide free drinks (um yes, beer!) and free food at any Wahoo's location. At the 20th and Grant location, they even give away free tickets to any KSE (Kroenke Sports Enterprises, for all you non-acronym geeks like me out there) sports game, i.e. if you wanna go to a Rapids, Nuggets, Mammoth, or Crush game for free, get your tight and toned butt (from all that kickball you've been playing) down to Wahoo Wednesdays!
