This was my first experience of walking tour of a city. I am glad I picked Denver for this adventurous walking tour of the Denver downtown as I had no clue about this city. Our tour guide had a really good sense of humor and kept us entertained throughout our tour. We started off at the Capital building and ended our tour at the Union station. The whole tour takes around 2 hours with a 10 minute break at the famous Opera house which also the second largest Opera house in the US. Our tour was on Memorial Day so the streets of Denver was pretty empty. I am glad we chose to tour on Memorial Day. We also walked past one of the most expensive gyms in the country called the Denver Athletic Club. She described this club for "rich and elite" of Denver. Funny part was that my brother in law is a member of this club and he was with us on the tour as well. I pointed at him when she said that everyone burst out laughing. I have been to this gym and it's spectacular. But $300 /month is a little too much for me. Anyways, the tour ended at Union station where there's plenty of restaurants to choose from. Definitely have some cash in had as she accepts tips in the end.

This is where you meet up (or where I did) at the veterans memorial - 1449 Lincoln St.

I meant it's FREE! And it was a good time! We did a nice little loop around the walkable downtown city of Denver. The guide was good, they actually don't get paid and hopefully may a few bucks in tips. There were a few points that he made or questions that I asked that were a little "iffy" in terms of my satisfaction, but overall it's awesome that this is a free tour in great locations. We hit up several spots outside, so you want to be able to walk well and it's not really perfect for wheelchairs in all areas. I remember that we ended at the ball park and started at Civic Center Park. Great time and I'd do it again or with new friends visiting! I wasn't sure what to tip, probably most people don't. I think I gave him $10 - $15, but anything is better than nothing! give what you can!

3.5 stars! 4 stars for our guide! I stumbled upon this when I researching on Yelp things to do in Denver. It's absolutely free but gratuity to your guide is a must! This was my first experience on a walking tour in any city and I was very excited. We met at the capitol building front stairs and walked all the way to union station where the tour ends about 1.7 miles walking no hills all flat will take about 2-2.5 hours. We made several stops and we had time to snap photos while he talked about each location. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Denver and all the locations we visited. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is the content of the tour wasn't as interesting as we had hoped. Depending on what you want to get out this tour, I would say try it. Some people actually dropped out half way through the tour. We left two stops before it ended. Overall the guide was knowledgeable on his history and he made jokes. But it just wasn't what we were expecting. This company is well organized though, we knew where we were going and for the most part started on time. If you enjoy history take this tour you'll learn a lot about Denver. Here is the list of stops. 10 am. Start: The Colorado State Capitol State Capitol Building Civic Center Park Denver Public Library Denver Art Museum City and County Building Approximately 11 am. U.S. Mint Denver Convention Center Denver Performing Arts Complex Larimer Square 16th Street Mall 12 - 12:30 pm End: Union Station

Our tour through Denver was fun! Our guide led a leisurely walk through town pointing out points of interest and answering questions along the way. This tip only tour was a great way to learn about the city!

Woke up in Denver wondering how we could best spend our short time in the city. My sister found this tour online and we decided to give it a shot. Alyce was our tour guide. She was easy to spot because she was in a bright yellow shirt right on the front steps of the capital building. She greeted everyone who walked up to join the tour. Alyce was really passionate about the city and knew a lot! She shared some really interesting facts that even a "local" who was in the group did not know. We got to see so much in such a short time. A little more than halfway through the tour we stopped for a potty/coffee break at a coffee shop. Happily tipped at the end of the tour because it was well worth it. Highly recommend this experience for tourists like myself!

PRO TIP: try avoiding the most back row if you have long legs or any stress with mobility. Because once you sit there, the seat is assigned and you will have to deal with being cramped in a tighter space. And you basically are always the last one to get off. This was one of the biggest cons. Moving on, the tour itself was great. We stopped by a cafe on the way to and back, for food and bathroom breaks, and pretty soon, the van took us to the Rocky Mountain with beautiful views and even saw many wildlife - the big horn sheep, elk, deer (i think), and, not to forget, smaller animals like birds, mouse, and chipmunks, but no moose spotted. Nonetheless, the breathtaking view of the Rockies is certainly worth the journey. The guide was very knowledgeable about trees and shared many stories about the places and tips for visiting Denver in general! She also took us to a few Native American owed stores that featured indigenous art that were very cool to see. One thing to note is that I think the Colorado Sightseer, the tour company, had listed at least two slightly different itineraries, and I might have been sent to the one I did not pick. I noticed because I intentionally picked the tour with visits to two visitor centers, vs the one I went on only took us to Beaver Meadows. Not a big deal bc I did get still get my stamp, and the tour used most of the day's time efficiently by visiting many attractions. But this might be something you want to make sure if the stops matter a lot to you. Nonetheless, with a group tour, it is understandable and expected for the itinerary to potentially change. For instance, the day I went, the tour guide actually too us to visit places in different order to avoid crowds. Another thing to really appreciate is that the tour provided some snacks, extra gloves/beanies, which were really a lifesaver in the cold mountains. I know I was not fully prepared for it and so glad I could borrower some!

Aaron was great about pulling over so everyone could grab photos whenever we spotted something cool. This review shares our four star experience on the Gray Line Rocky Mountain National Park tour. It was a tour where $125 paid for a million dollar experience. The duration of the tour was ten hours of my life that added at least a year to my life. When it comes to seeing Rocky Mountain National Park this tour literally rises above it all in height. We would reach a height of 12,183 feet above sea love. The tour uses the Grand Circle route of seeing the park. From Denver, we ascended Interstate 70 westbound into the Rocky Mountains. We followed US 40 northbound over the Continental Divide where a right turn onto US 34 brought us into the park. Trail Ridge Road led us to the high summits in Rocky Mountain National Park. We exited the park at the Fall River Visitor Center where US 34 and 36 brought us through Boulder then ultimately southwest into Denver. The adventure began at 8:30 when the tour bus picked us up near the hotel. It would stop at a couple of more hotels before taking us to the ticket center in the Cherry Creek Mall. After paying the $125 we returned to the bus. Normally I am close-dephobic on a bus. This luxury bus was anything but uncomfortable. It felt like I was in a first-class airplane. The bus even had a restroom. Exploring the Colorado countryside from the luxury bus benefitted the experience. Darcy controlled the bus and the tour. He is a knowledgeable tour guide and safe driver. His narrative told the story of the rolling Aspin forests, mountain summits, ski lounge hamlets alongside US 40, and landscapes with the pages of the tour. Using the analogy that the tour is a book each stop was the start of the chapter. Here are the stops, the chapters of the tour in chronological order: *Downieville Truck Stop off I-70: Home of the 5 Cent coffee and a hydration/ snack stop. *Berthold Pass: Where US 40 transverses the Continental Divide. *Shadow Mountain Lake: One of the northernmost Colorado River reservoirs. *Buffet lunch in the Grand Lake Lounge. *Photo spot at the Rocky Mountain National Park sign. *Fairview Curve (in the park): Overlooks near the headwaters of the Colorado River. *Millner Pass (in the park): Where Trail Ridge Road crosses the Continental Divide. *Alpine Visitor Center (45 minutes): The Alpine Ridge Trail reaches the 11,796 feet high tundra. *Lava Cliffs (in the park) *Rainbow Curve (in the park) *Fall River Visitor Center: In Estes Park. *Bonus stop: A photo opportunity of an elk grazing near the Fall River Visitor Center. In the near future, I will be reviewing some of these stops where I spent time. These reviews will provide deeper insight with pictures. In regards to this review proper, I appreciated that Darcy made the additional stops when he spotted the elk, moose, and big horn sheep. I further appreciated when he took the time to hand us the park maps when we entered the national park. It is important to bring up a couple of other things. The tour included the park admission. And the buffet lunch was unexpectedly good. The tour concluded with Darcy dropping us off at our hotel around 6:30 pm. He had been our tour guide for a ten hour tour that added at least a year to my life.

Darcy, our driver for the tour itself, was a font of information, full of dry humor. Could not have asked for a better driver. He made some unscheduled stops when he noticed wildlife, so the group could get some cool pics. Lunch was included, buffet style at a resort just outside Rocky Mountain National Park. Very tasty. All in all, well worth the $120 per person price tag.

When I said I'd write this up on Yelp, she said her name was Mary. She met us at the flagpole outside of Union Station right on time. We stopped at a general store for a potty break and of course to purchase. It smelled delicious in there. Sausage, baked goods, etc. Once in the park we had lunch. Turkey sandwiches from the Farmers Market. Good eats. We drove to different spots in the park. Fall colors at the end of their peak, but still gorgeous. We saw many elk. It's rutting time and it was interesting to watch the males steal the women from each other. The elk 'bugle' is kind of neat and creepy. Returning to Denver we were taken through Boulder. Quite the bustling city. It was a great time. Michelle had her iPod filled with various playlists. Most enjoyable. Thanks, Michelle. 10/06/21 Today we tour the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Our tour guide is Jim, a really laid back and just all around cool guy. We are being transported in a Mercedes Sprinter. Very nice and roomy. We travel through Colorado Springs, see the city and the Air Force academy. The first stop is the garden. Beautiful oxides formations of all shapes and sizes. The fun part was watching a family climb one of these large rocks. Actually, it looked like dad teaching the two kids and mom snapping pics. The kids were no older than 5-8 years old, but they were climbing little monkeys. It was mom making me nervous as she backed up to take the pics. Didn't want to see her topple over the edge. From here we go to Pikes Peak. What a difference in scenery and temperature. The garden was warm at about 75, while the peak was about 38. At the top there is a cafe where you can purchase drinks, food and the best thing of all - daily baked cake doughnuts. Cinnamon sugar or chocolate glazed. 'Chocolate glazed' doesn't do them justice. The icing is thick fudge-like and just awesome. When we checked in at the entrance gate, the ranger said we wouldn't be able to go to the top because of pending weather. But when we got to the point she said we could not go beyond, there was nothing to stop us so we went to the top and doughnuts. Yea!! But mother cold and windy, making the temp feel even colder. But beautiful views. Of course the obligatory souvenir shop is attached to the cafe. Ha, ha. Fun, fun. Jim got us to the top!

We had a lovely lunch at a cafe at the top of the mountains. I loved the weather, it was 80 when we left, then it rained, then it hailed, then it snowed! If we needed Devon he was there and if we didn't he gave our family space. 6. History about the parks as we went along each tour. 7. Last, but not the least, Devon always had our family's safety in mind, and this experience will last a lifetime!!! Thanks Friend!!

What a unique experience. Our daughter signed us up for this tour before we came out to visit and…read moreit was a highly anticipated event. Having tied our munchies on at the local Blue Moon Brewery (lunch) we made our way to a very non-descript warehouse location and started checking in for our tour. With medicinal and recreational marijuana being legal here for years now, these folks gather people together for a friendly tour of a few of the dispensaries and one of the indoor grow rooms (farms). Weed ranches? There truly is quite a science behind all of this. We were given very clear rules, do's and don'ts for the tour. Once we boarded the bus, there were two lights - one red and one green. Apparently there are times when you can and cannot smoke weed in the back of the bus. Our guide, King Kala being a very petite lady with quite an outsize personality made the tour very memorable. During the times the green light was on, various smokes were passed around for those who were to partake. Yours truly was a spectator with all of the reason in the world to get a contact high from my co-easy riders in those close quarters. There was actually lots of room. 9 were in our van, which could accommodate 12 so it wasn't really so close. The rear view was a projected image of the traffic following us. There was no tobacco allowed on the bus. If one wanted an actual tobacco cigarette, it had to be done when the bus was stopped and of course, outside. A lot of explaining went on and then there were bags of chips and cookies passed around as well as bottled water. "One must stay hydrated." So we visited two different dispensaries and everyone was afforded the opportunity to check out everything for sale. And I do mean everything. Well, except tobacco. The tour inside the dispensaries was also guided by our very own King Kala who showed and explained the growing rooms and the different processes used to identify the medicinal from the recreational "product". The entire thing lasted a few hours and the trips to, from and between stops was just as cool as the stops themselves. People from all over the country. For more, you're just gonna have to check em out yourself, although I could go into quite a bit more detail. Enjoy your day!

Our tour was at 7pm so the view wasn't the greatest. Overall I think it's overpriced for what we did, nothing on this tour is what you can do on your own besides smoking on a bus. The flower you see is inside a dispensary that's open to public. It's not the behind the scenes of what we thought we were going to get. Don't spend your money if you think this is an informative tour bc it's not it's more of a chill bus ride with no information provided.

Went on a guided tour of the Molly Brown House on 4/8/2026. I was in Denver for work and I always…read moreenjoy learning about local history where I travel. Also, with the 114th anniversary of the Titanic approaching, I figured I should learn more about the disaster's one of the most prominent survivors. My tour guide (Eli) was very informative and they talked about a lot of the inticracies of the house that I wouldn't have noticed if I had wandered around the house by myself, including details about the staircase and the method of constructing it, the wallpaper, stained glass, etc. I was particularly fascinated by how Margaret Brown leveraged her high profile status as a Titanic wreck survivor to fight for various causes such as women's suffrage, who she really was behind the legend of "Molly Brown," and the history of the house after its sale (how it became a group home for girls, and their antics of painting the lions up front and throwing things at the people passing by on the sidewalk). Definitely grateful for Eli's expertise -- shows they're really passionate about passing down the local history to the community and beyond. I left with more knowledge than I expected to learn. Thank you Eli! It was also great that the house itself contained a good number of original pieces of the house from back in the 1910s, which isn't always the case with historical houses. There was also a little back room that had original pieces from the White Star Line so people could see the plates and other things that passengers on the Titanic would have used, as well as a super detailed model of the ship itself. Will definitely be recommending this tour for anyone who plans to go to Denver.
