    Our guide. Anthony.

We booked the tour online and paid the $2 fee per person. When we arrived, Anthony was very engaging and very bubbly. He gave us a great tour of the downtown area stopping in major points like the State Capitol, the Art Museum, the US Mint, Larimer Square, Union Station and much more. He was a really nice and knowledgeable tour guide and we loved the experience. At the end of the tour, a tip via cash or Venmo was welcomed by Anthony.

This was my first experience of walking tour of a city. I am glad I picked Denver for this adventurous walking tour of the Denver downtown as I had no clue about this city. Our tour guide had a really good sense of humor and kept us entertained throughout our tour. We started off at the Capital building and ended our tour at the Union station. The whole tour takes around 2 hours with a 10 minute break at the famous Opera house which also the second largest Opera house in the US. Our tour was on Memorial Day so the streets of Denver was pretty empty. I am glad we chose to tour on Memorial Day. We also walked past one of the most expensive gyms in the country called the Denver Athletic Club. She described this club for "rich and elite" of Denver. Funny part was that my brother in law is a member of this club and he was with us on the tour as well. I pointed at him when she said that everyone burst out laughing. I have been to this gym and it's spectacular. But $300 /month is a little too much for me. Anyways, the tour ended at Union station where there's plenty of restaurants to choose from. Definitely have some cash in had as she accepts tips in the end.

This is where you meet up (or where I did) at the veterans memorial - 1449 Lincoln St.

I meant it's FREE! And it was a good time! We did a nice little loop around the walkable downtown city of Denver. The guide was good, they actually don't get paid and hopefully may a few bucks in tips. There were a few points that he made or questions that I asked that were a little "iffy" in terms of my satisfaction, but overall it's awesome that this is a free tour in great locations. We hit up several spots outside, so you want to be able to walk well and it's not really perfect for wheelchairs in all areas. I remember that we ended at the ball park and started at Civic Center Park. Great time and I'd do it again or with new friends visiting! I wasn't sure what to tip, probably most people don't. I think I gave him $10 - $15, but anything is better than nothing! give what you can!

3.5 stars! 4 stars for our guide! I stumbled upon this when I researching on Yelp things to do in Denver. It's absolutely free but gratuity to your guide is a must! This was my first experience on a walking tour in any city and I was very excited. We met at the capitol building front stairs and walked all the way to union station where the tour ends about 1.7 miles walking no hills all flat will take about 2-2.5 hours. We made several stops and we had time to snap photos while he talked about each location. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the history of Denver and all the locations we visited. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is the content of the tour wasn't as interesting as we had hoped. Depending on what you want to get out this tour, I would say try it. Some people actually dropped out half way through the tour. We left two stops before it ended. Overall the guide was knowledgeable on his history and he made jokes. But it just wasn't what we were expecting. This company is well organized though, we knew where we were going and for the most part started on time. If you enjoy history take this tour you'll learn a lot about Denver. Here is the list of stops. 10 am. Start: The Colorado State Capitol State Capitol Building Civic Center Park Denver Public Library Denver Art Museum City and County Building Approximately 11 am. U.S. Mint Denver Convention Center Denver Performing Arts Complex Larimer Square 16th Street Mall 12 - 12:30 pm End: Union Station

Our tour through Denver was fun! Our guide led a leisurely walk through town pointing out points of interest and answering questions along the way. This tip only tour was a great way to learn about the city!

Woke up in Denver wondering how we could best spend our short time in the city. My sister found this tour online and we decided to give it a shot. Alyce was our tour guide. She was easy to spot because she was in a bright yellow shirt right on the front steps of the capital building. She greeted everyone who walked up to join the tour. Alyce was really passionate about the city and knew a lot! She shared some really interesting facts that even a "local" who was in the group did not know. We got to see so much in such a short time. A little more than halfway through the tour we stopped for a potty/coffee break at a coffee shop. Happily tipped at the end of the tour because it was well worth it. Highly recommend this experience for tourists like myself!

A fascinating, personal, and inspiring Denver experience I…read morecannot say enough positive things about my graffiti tour with Randy. His depth of knowledge is almost unbelievable--in the best way. He understands the artwork, the artists, Denver's history, the surrounding neighborhoods, and the cultural significance of graffiti and street art. He does not simply point out interesting pieces; he helps you understand the stories, people, and communities behind them. I learned so much and took more than 100 pictures along the way. Meeting Graham, a local artist, was an unexpected and amazing highlight that made the tour feel even more special. What stayed with me most was how the tour revealed Denver as a city filled with creativity, history, culture, and wonderful people. Randy was welcoming, thoughtful, engaging, and incredibly generous with his time and knowledge. Whether you already love graffiti and street art or are simply curious about Denver, take this tour. You will leave seeing the city--and the art around you--with new eyes.

In order to cover as much ground as possible, I scheduled the RiNo North tour (covers north side) and the happy hour tour (supposedly covers much of what the classic tour covers). Randy was my guide, and was a laid back, knowledgeable guy. I fancy myself a bit of a street art connoisseur and think I could have done a lot of this on my own if I had done some planning, but Randy did offer a lot of info I didn't know about the art community in Denver and various street art terms I wasn't familiar with. We made a brief stop during the North tour for bathroom and drink breaks. For the happy hour tour, you're supposed to stop at a brewery, but I was the only one on the tour, so Randy and I opted to keep checking out art instead of stopping. Once I started posting on instagram, I consulted the pages they provide so you can credit the artists. Looking through those pages for all three tours, I really think the original gives you the most bang for your buck. If I could do it over, I would have just scheduled that one, then spread out on my own. Tours are around 32 bucks each. You can only book them if at least two people have booked, which is the minimum. I got the solo happy hour tour because I booked two tickets (I'm an anxious planner and was willing to pay extra to have it locked in on my schedule). Each tour covers about two miles and lasts around two hours. Worthwhile tour where you'll see some great street art, learn about the Denver art community, and get to know more about the town itself.

I would leave zero stars if possible…read more My husband and I have attended several DAF tours and have always enjoyed them. We signed up for the 6/13 RiNo tour. That afternoon, I called employee Alyssa and said: I'm so sorry, I know I got an email with instructions,l but I can't find it. I asked where are we meeting? She: the Denver Library Me: ok the main library? She: the branch, in the plaza Come to find out we were talking about two completely different places. I called back twice more & finally found out from Alyssa that we were meeting at 35th St. By that time the tour was 20 minutes in and had we've driven to the spot, we would've missed half of it. Evidently event Brite is to send an email confirmation two days prior to the tour but I did not receive it. Not in my deleted folder & not in spam. I called the CEO Pauline today. She: we gave you a credit. What more is it that you want? Me: well, your employee Alyssa indicated you wouldn't offer either credit or refund. Looonggg pause, then She: oh, yes, now I remember. Alyssa is a great employee, has been with us for eight years, has great customer service skills. If you didn't get the email, that must be something on your end. No other customers had an issue. I've already spent enough time on this issue. The credit was about $45 total for two people. We have very much enjoyed these tours in the past, but will never participate in the future.

For our honeymoon, my husband and I really wanted to visit Italy, so we did some research on the…read moreplaces we wanted to visit and explore. We narrowed it down to Rome and Tuscany, and then began pricing the different hotels, tours, rental cars, etc. By happenstance I heard a radio ad for Che Bella Tours and realized that they offered exactly what we were looking for in Italy -without any of the hassle! Che Bella's inclusive tours provide accommodations in a very nice Rome hotel, a gorgeous villa in Tuscany and a combination of meals at great restaurants throughout. We could not have been more pleased with our experience. Sandy Gregory our tour operator was really helpful, responsive and enthusiastic from the very beginning. She gave us good advice about choosing flights, and sent us a packing guide, too. In Italy, Sandy proved to be just as knowledgeable about the history, art and customs as the professional guides who led us on our private tours of the Vatican and the famous cathedrals and duomas in Tuscany. Each day, as we headed towards another beautiful medieval town, Sandy would give us a break-down of the day ahead, and give us options for exploring, shopping and dining with a scale of being totally on our own or having her along as a guide and/or lunch dinner companion. It was great to be able to wander around by ourselves, trying our Italian out and discovering the magic of each place on our own, and also to have Sandy meet up with us at certain times to check in and give us more insights or advice about places to see. The guides that Sandy arranged for our private tours were art history experts and they really opened up the experience of each place for us. It can be a bit overwhelming to be surrounded by so much Renaissance art, so a knowledgeable guide is really important. Plus, we were whisked to the front of the very long lines to see the Vatican museum in Rome and The David in Florence! The hotels where we stayed were wonderful, especially the villa in San Gimignano. I still dream about it! The surrounding vineyards and olive tree groves, the beautiful pool, the wonderful breakfasts and elegant dining. I fell in love with that place. Che Bella Tours gives you a couple of days to be on your own and do nothing if you want, and we spent a very enjoyable afternoon lounging beside the hotel pool, drinking Rose' and taking in the spectacularly beautiful views. One of the highlights of our trip was the cooking class in Certaldo that Sandy arranged for us. We learned to make fresh pasta, osso bucco and a dessert, and we had so much fun in the process then enjoyed a delicious meal at the end that we had prepared ourselves! As soon as I returned home I ordered a pasta maker as we are forever spoiled by the amazing pasta that was our daily staple in Italy. If you have an opportunity to take a Che Bella Tour - do it! The experience offered is so rich. It is not just a tour, but a true appreciation and immersion in the culture and art and lifestyle of the country you are visiting.
