There are three tours run by this company: the classic tour, the RiNo North tour, and the happy…read morehour tour. In order to cover as much ground as possible, I scheduled the RiNo North tour (covers north side) and the happy hour tour (supposedly covers much of what the classic tour covers). Randy was my guide, and was a laid back, knowledgeable guy. I fancy myself a bit of a street art connoisseur and think I could have done a lot of this on my own if I had done some planning, but Randy did offer a lot of info I didn't know about the art community in Denver and various street art terms I wasn't familiar with. We made a brief stop during the North tour for bathroom and drink breaks. For the happy hour tour, you're supposed to stop at a brewery, but I was the only one on the tour, so Randy and I opted to keep checking out art instead of stopping. Once I started posting on instagram, I consulted the pages they provide so you can credit the artists. Looking through those pages for all three tours, I really think the original gives you the most bang for your buck. If I could do it over, I would have just scheduled that one, then spread out on my own. Tours are around 32 bucks each. You can only book them if at least two people have booked, which is the minimum. I got the solo happy hour tour because I booked two tickets (I'm an anxious planner and was willing to pay extra to have it locked in on my schedule). Each tour covers about two miles and lasts around two hours. Worthwhile tour where you'll see some great street art, learn about the Denver art community, and get to know more about the town itself.

Very chill guy who knew his way around the bike and the area…read more Communication with the company/guide was fantastic and they were very responsive, even giving me a discount after I forgot to enter the discount code and later refunding some of the cost due to technical difficulties with the bike. However there were some pretty severe technical issues with the bike itself: the gearing was WAY off leading to some people having all the resistance and others barely being able to do anything. This meant we barely moved faster than a brisk walking pace (our friend actually managed to keep up with us during a phone call walking along the sidewalk!). This also fed into a secondary issue where the board above near your knees was a bit too close and, especially with little resistance, it was all to easy to smack into it hurting yourself. Lastly adjusting the seats was a bit difficult. For the amount of money I expected a bit more direction and time but you can only drink so fast. The tours listing 3-4 stops on their site seem ambitious even with a faster vehicle. In two hours we managed to hit two breweries. While we had a good time and the bike made for a fun team experience we could've just as easily have walked the whole thing. I'd home in the future they can make the experience a bit more worth the cost. We saw many of these types of tours in the RINO district where the breweries are closer together and the roads less intimidating/car-filled so that might be a better area for this.

As a beer enthusiast this was the perfect outing. We got to check out some amazing brews and had a blast cruising around. The breweries were fun but I have to say the most fun was pedaling around let by our guide Anthony who was super chill and fun. He really made it a memorable experience. This is a must do while in Denver, just make sure you book ahead of time as they where pretty booked when I first checked.

We learned so much about Denver's history, how the city has evolved over the years, and the stories behind many of its historic buildings and landmarks. The tour also helped us discover several places we wanted to return to and explore in more depth. The meeting location was easy to find, and we were each given an audio headset so we could hear our guide clearly throughout the tour--a thoughtful touch that made the experience even better. If you're looking for a great introduction to Denver, I highly recommend this tour.

I really enjoyed learning about the area's history and recent revitalization. I love it when cities can repurpose old buildings rather than tear them down. The tour started and ended at the train station which is an impressive building and is nicely air conditioned which helped us cool down at the end of the tour. The earbuds made it easy to hear throughout the tour even when there was traffic noise. Definitely bring plenty of water if it's hot out; there is shade which helps, but it is a walking tour so be prepared to be outside for the majority of the time. I was very happy I was wearing my sun hat. This was a fun activity and it was great to learn about the area of Denver where we were staying.

The husband and I have done Segway tours in a number of cities, so it's become a go-to activity for…read moreus whenever we visit somewhere. Because hello, Segways are a TON of fun, and a great way to get up close to attractions without having to walk or being stuck on a bus! However, this tour in particular wasn't one of the better ones we've been on. Because the storage/training area is in a parking garage, you meet your guide outside a nearby restaurant so they can take you into the alley and down to the secret Segway closet (seriously DOWN a massive ramp, which may be intimidating for inexperienced riders). The instructions explicitly state that restrooms are available inside the restaurant...but for a 10am tour, they're not open yet. Luckily, the Panera next door was happy to give us the code for their restrooms. The Segways themselves have obviously seen WAY better days. Our guide apologized for being late due to having to inflate the tires, but the handlebars were banged up, my Segway made a constant clanking/rattling noise from one wheel, and the guide ended up riding one with a low battery because no others with fully inflated tires were available. The available helmets were in similar rough condition. While our guide was friendly enough, knew the basic spiels for the stops, and even texted me in advance of the tour to confirm we knew where we were going (and when he was running late), he also seemed pretty lackadaisical (although pleasant) and didn't wear a helmet. I was also annoyed that, for some reason, we didn't receive the waivers via email ahead of time, so we had to fill them out on the guide's phone. In hindsight, he wasn't checking anything, so I should've just lied and said we'd already signed... On the upside, we were the only two people signed up, so we got a longer tour and more stops that we would have otherwise. Since we've ridden Segways before, we also got to skip the training -- we just hopped on and demonstrated that yup, we know what we're doing. A vast improvement over watching 10+ people slowly get the hang of it! And of course, we really enjoyed seeing a wide variety of Denver spots up close and personal, and learning at least a little bit about some of them. So while you can't ever really go wrong with a Segway tour, definitely head into this one with open eyes about what to expect.

I took a trip back to Denver to visit friends and family over Labor Day weekend. You meet at the visitor center at 16th and California where you will get an individual tutorial on how to ride the Segway before heading off on the tour. I'm so glad they did the tutorial one person at a time, so give us a chance to get really comfortable on the Segway before we committed to two hours of zipping around the town. Our tour guys did a great job breaking down how to safely operate the Segway and I immediately was comfortable and ready to go! We zipped around checking out the sites and our guides did a great job navigating downtown during both a Rocky's game and the taste of Colorado! Crowds everywhere and there were no problems. My favorite part of the tour was when we were really cruising down the sidewalk parallel with the Platt river. I lived in downtown Denver for five years, but moved away six years ago so it was great seeing how much of it changed and what stayed the same. The guide and I had a fun time comparing facts and information about different historical spots in Denver. You can have up to 4 people in your tour group, and there is a guide in front and in back so we stay together as a group. Their website says they may be able to accommodate larger groups if you call way in advanced, but the standard is up to four. I had a lot of fun and would highly recommended this to both tourists and locals! Thanks Brandon and Jake for the fun tour!
