Many times my watch shows a decibel level of 97+ decibels. That is not healthy. The cafe there has a motto that says, "if it's here it's healthy". That is not true with the classes because the music is so loud it will damage your hearing and nobody wants that. And nobody wants the instructor to be yelling constantly. That is not motivating. This happens in more than one class with more than one instructor. Not sure what they are thinking.

I haven't been playing USTA tennis in Colorado for very long, but we recently played one of the tennis teams from LT Centennial. One of the things I like most about Colorado is the people and the laid-back and friendly attitudes. The LT team we played against was rude, condescending, lacked ethics, had a superiority complex and frankly were the most unpleasant group of women I have ever been around in the tennis community. I'm surprised that management at LT Centennial isn't trying to change the culture when it comes to their facility, but I'm sure that eventually they'll see it in their bottom line. USTA Ladies, be better.

I signed up for the Power Clinic from 6-8pm, and it was absolutely worth it, especially getting lessons from Pavan Patel. The facility (The Picklr Aurora location) is very well-maintained, and the experience was great from the start. JP, the owner, personally answered all my questions over the phone beforehand and was present, making sure everyone was taken care of. His staff was also incredibly friendly and made every player feel welcome. As for the instructor, Pavan did an excellent job training us in clinic, focusing on both situational and technical drills. Even in just one session, I picked up a lot of valuable pointers. I'll definitely be back

We knew enough about the game and the rules to be dangerous, so we signed up for "open play" and dove right in. Oops, we quickly realized that we actually knew less than we thought. After playing a few games, we weren't sure that this was going to work for us. We figured we would ride out the 30 days and that would be it. Then we signed up for a free Learn to Play session and what a difference it made in our attitude and we actually left better (still complete novice players), but a better feeling and excitement to continue playing. JP Parker, the owner/operator actually took the time to teach our session. He did an amazing job of teaching, coaching, and encouraging us during the class. It truly made a difference in our outlook and excitement to continue to improve and play more Pickleball. The entire staff has been very helpful, friendly and encouraging. We are glad we took the Learn to Play class and we meet JP. And yes, we are going to continue with the Picklr Aurora!

During check-in they said I received an upgrade, but I'm not sure to what, because the view was a roof and the room couldn't fit one suitcase, never mind two. It was cute however. Blackout shades are irrelevant if they don't cover they can't cover the entire window. Slivers of light will wake you up, which is surprising since when you pull back the drapes, the room lacked natural light. If you stay with Amex Platinum hotel collection and receive benefits, you might be disappointed. It says complimentary breakfast, which at check-in you learn is $30 a day. This might be ok except lattes are $7 and there's a 20% gratuity included on all bills. The $100 resort credit can only be used at their rooftop bar and their "member's" restaurant (not the two on-site restaurants on the ground floor) and in-room mini bar, however half the items were expired. The gym in the basement is solid and better equipped than most, but wish there was natural light. Pool table in lobby is nice touch. Housekeeping knocked on door and we asked she come back in an hour. We were disappointed upon returning home to our unrefreshed room. The realized she did come because we had new towels. I know many hotels limit housekeeping services, which I'm fine with, if they state it. Location: A Value: D Service: B- Amenities: C
