I came all the way from Florida to check out all of the Rec shops in downtown Denver, and I have to say this one was the highlight of my trip. Absolutely amazing shop! Seriously one of the best that I visited on my stay in downtown Denver. The Ladies that work there are all VERY friendly! So A+ for customer service that's for sure! They did not rush me to make a decision and they answered all and every question I had with great knowledge. Downtown Denver can be overwhelming to a out-of-towner, especially this "country mouse". But Den Rec was a pleasant surprise! It's not overwhelming or "swarmy". I felt safe, relaxed, welcomed & valued as a customer. TONY was a great budtender. He gave me the information in a relaxed, "un-stoner" way. No strong sales pressure or steering. He put me at ease. Been at this lil gem plenty of times, the quality and selection of the strains here are by far the best in Denver. (Seriously, I've checked out at least 15 dispensaries in this area and Den Rec never disappoints unless they're out of Granola Funk. ) The staff are super knowledgeable and friendly, prices are pretty good too. I was in Denver for vacation for my birthday....found them because of yelp and was not disappointed at all....the staff was amazing....handled all questions and concerns that my group had....I wish I would have gotten names of the staff members....but the girl that was working and the guy with the dark hair and Beanie on July 24,2017 thank you....y'all rock and next time I'm out out that way I'll definitely be stopping in. Denver rec is a great dispensary. They have awesome staff and a really cool atmosphere, not to mention a wide selection of products. When you walk in you are greeted by nice chill music and the sweet smell of bud. They are knowledgeable and helpful and even have a punch card! Great place great people and great bud! I flew to LA and had a nice layover in Denver. Found DEN-REC on Yelp. The staff was very knowledgeable about the different strains and what Sativa and Indica meant and its affect on ya mind and body. I got the cookie dough strain and sheesh, my face was gone! Just visiting from Kansas City MO and by far the best dispensary in the downtown Denver area. We hit up a dozen or so. Great selection and great prices. Bud tender was super helpful and very friendly. Pure kush tasted as good as it smelled and the platinum Girl Scout was on point. Bout to head back and try the sour grapes! Stopped here on our last day in town and regret not coming sooner. We've been to 10+ dispensaries in the Denver metro. They have the best variety and most to choose from for recreational. Late on the review from mid December. Easy to find off the interstate but I would go out of my way to go back there. Nice staff and good selection. I'm an out of stater so it is the coolest thing to be able to walk into a store and finally be able to legally purchase cannabis. Bought two or three varieties and some shatter (the new hash?).
