He takes time to listen and is very caring. One of my frustrations is that a sleep med will work for six months or so, but then it is no longer effective. Doctor B. has explained why a person often develops a resistance to a particular sleep medication over time. Unlike many doctors, Dr. B listened to me and helped me explore different medication options. The sleep doctor I used to go to would not allow me to switch medications. Dr. Bercot listened to me and helped me find a medication that works. I felt listened to and understood. I also felt better educated regarding side effects of medication. The receptionist is very friendly, and the waiting room is relaxing. It doesn't have the feel of a doctor's office.

The office staff made sure I knew that they were still going to charge me the late cancellation fee plus the cost of the entire visit. I verified by stating my situation again, and the woman would only tell me that they were going to charge me but I could appeal this charge. I called again today to work something out with them and have this charge vacated. I explained my medical emergency again, and again I got serious attitude. I was told that she could send me the appeal form, but they might not accept it or refund the charge at all. What? I was seeing a really great Physicians Assistant who was extremely knowledgeable. Unfortunately the office is so difficult I cannot continue to frequent this business.
