I have to say the reviews here are true! I have an old car. I tried them out for an inspection and it was fast and easy, so I decided to return for other work I had planned to do on my car. Jose & Edison took care of my car and did a great job. They are fast, efficient, offer almost every service you could need, and are accurate and fair priced. I love that they sent me text reminders for my appointment, and sent me electronic copies of the quote and recommended service. You can approve or accept a service recommendation right from your phone. I was treated well and didn't feel like I was getting ripped off - which can happen a lot when you are a woman of color. They are also being responsible during COVID - wearing masks and unsung hand sanitizer. An A+ all around. This is my new mechanic shop! read more

So I bought my car in 8am July 30th for steering issues AGAIN had it done last year august 2021 had a 36 month warranty so was utilizing it after 36hrs calling couldn't get a status of when to pick it up or what the problem was of course everybody need their car for the holidays got no consideration. I have found my new favorite Auto Repair Shop. I took my car in to get sorted and the workers were so nice and inviting. There was no attitudes which I understand because I'm sure they deal with all kinds of customers but it took a second to fix and I he did it and also gave a big smile and asked to back the car out because it was narrow. Jose always works fast and does an excellent job. I have went through 2 Escalades and always got good prices and won't go anywhere else. I was by Pep boys in Elmont Long island, and when I first heard noise stopped there. They tried to sell me tires and about $3000 of "maybe the problem". I drove my car, smoking engine straight to Jose (air conditioner tube broke, and engine belt). I prayed 20 minutes driving to his shop. He knew just from the sound the problem, popped the trunk and told me what I really needed to do & did my oil change $400. Now if he would have told me $3000, I trust him, because he tells you what the real problem is, and what to expect if you don't maintain your parts. He could hustle people but he doesn't, He is the way shops used to be, reliable and honest! read more

I bought my car to Dependable Auto Repair to fix my Air-Conditioner and two days later my car broke down in the middle of the street while on my lunch break.. I had to tow my car to Dependable Auto Repair because they were last to work on it, come to find out the mechanic (Jose) told me my alternator burnt out and I needed a new battery due to the Anti Freeze leaking onto the alternator. Then Jose said it wasn't the Anti Freeze that leaked on to the alternator, he said it looked like the car was driven into a paddle of water and water leaked into the alternator and that's what caused it to burn out.. That was false, I'm the only one who drives my car and I haven't been in paddles of water.. plus the alternator is located on top. I don't understand why he would assume something like that, meanwhile my air conditioning still is blowing hot air.. Once he came up with his assumption, I didn't want him working on my car anymore, I had to tow my car for the second time to my regular mechanic. Only reason why I went somewhere new was because my regular mechanic Air conditioner machine doesn't work. I understand things could happen but take some responsibility and making up stories is bad for business!! read more

My oldest daughter came to visit from Wisconsin with her car for inspection of her Honda Civic. Her time home was short so we needed to move fast. Honda had no appointments so we took the car to Jose. No appointment and even though he was full, he and his staff still took the time to inspect her and change her oil before her drive back to WI. While there, I told him about my husband's car (a minivan) that may or may not start so it was luck of the draw each time you tried. For months, I begged my husband to go to Jose to fix it...crickets. He kept denying anything was wrong until he the car stalled on him . He took the Sienna to Toyota and it worked...for one week! Paid over $900 for absolutely NOTHING! Finally, the hubs agreed to bring her to Jose. He gave us an appointment and thank God, it was fixed same day and we paid a third of what we paid Toyota. The Sienna is now purring like a kitten and has become "dependable" once again. For all you husbands who don't listen to your wives-LISTEN to your wives!!!
