They completed their flooring job in 1 and a half days!! When we called dispatch they sent someone out same day. Josh came and did his measurements and gave us a quote the same day. He is super professional and friendly. While I went shopping with Josh to make sure the right flooring I wanted was picked, they were able to get a crew out the same day to start demolition. The next day the crew came and started working on the flooring and baseboards. Eric is super courteous by the way he greets and communicates with us. Jordan and Eric went to town making sure the flooring was completed by the end of the day. Overall, for the time frame the job was completed the amount we paid was very reasonable. My daughter had several problems, including musty odor, and poor heating in her Marysville home, Josh and his very capable helper arrived the following day, checked everything, went under the house and found insulation was off some of the ducts and 2 ducts were disconected. they fixed one but recommeded Burgers heating and air for the other as it was less accessible. They were very pleasant and professional and were not perturbed by my making them wait 15 minutes while I traveled from my house to my daughter/s. They also didn't charge me anything. They are amazing and I will definitely use them in the future, not because they didn't charge me, but because they really care about solving the problems. read more

We used Brandon years ago before he got a contractors license and we're quite satisfied with his pricing, timeliness, and work qualify. So when we had a long list of handyman projects we contacted him again. The initial response was quick and although the pricing seemed quite high, we had them go ahead with the work. Many of the projects they completed were incomplete or completed wrong but we were told we would have to pay them more to come back to finish or fix their errors. For example, part of the project was to install 3 expensive wifi ceiling fans. At the end of the day they said 2 did not work and took one of them down And left the other inoperable before they left. The instructions from the manufacturer clearly stated to contact the manufacturer to trouble shoot installation problems, and when I contacted the manufacturer they said they could not help me unless the person installing called them while on site to walk through the problems. When I notified Dependable Handyman of this, they first ignored my attempts to contact them and then came back with new fees to reinstall and to contact the manufacturer. This should have been included in the original price. Another problem is that we had them replace an exterior security light. They did but placed it on the wrong setting so it is on dusk to dawn instead of motion activated. Again, they would charge us to come back and fix it and I do not have a ladder tall enough to reach it to do it myself. Other minor problems occurred, like installing light switches that didn't match, etc. we will not be using them again. read more

We've selected Brandon & his crew many times over the years. Always found them to be professional, friendly, punctual, communicative, hard-working, honest, fair, and having integrity. Presently, a monster sprinkler valve was diagnosed, fixed, tested..........repeat! This was a challenging job which demanded a redo because of location, 40 year old pvc pipe and system, plant roots, and tight working conditions. They got on it, did not give up, came back again, fixed the system, and now it works wonderfully and doesn't leak! I hired Brandon to hang a ceiling fan, install an automatic garage door opener and a door jamb that had been damaged as a result of a super-slam . . . That's another story for another time, though. I purchased a new condo and after taking possession of the house I notice that it was in need of some updating.. I was under a tight time frame to get these repairs done so I could start painting the house and then new flooring put in.. Brandon and his boys came to my home the same day I called them. They start work the very next day. They built a wall in my master bedroom, moved electrical outlets replaced celling fans and etc. All work was completed with in 4 days from the day I called him. He was also very gracious in leaving his scaffolding up in place for my painter to use. I highly recommend Brandon and his team. I will be honest and say that Brandon prices could be a little on the higher side but his speedyness was a big plus. I will be using his company in the future for some other work I still need done. This is a guy without a conscience. He ripped off my 97 year old mother while repairing a leaky faucet. This is how. Brandon knew well in advance that my mother needed the work performed. Brandon was also well aware that there is a program called FREED that would have paid for this work to be done for my mom. Brandon knows this because he has done work for FREED. Instead of advising my 97 year old mom about FREED, while we were waiting for parts to come in, Brandon gladly charged her $70.00 for his shoddy work. He also damaged her faucet and refused to make good on it. In addition, he charged my mom for fixing a motion detector light that still does not work. Stay far away from Brandon Brown. Oh, yeah. When I called Brandon to discuss this, his response was, "File a complaint." read more

It was so refreshing to meet professionals that actually fix things rather than try to sell me something. Brandon found a very dangerous electrical problem, installation error with our water heater and was able to fix it. One of those "lucky your house didn't burn down" situations. Actually caught fire as he was assessing the problem. Called Brandon last week and he agreed to an afternoon appointment. When he was one-hour late I called and my question asking him if he was running late went to VM. I asked to please call if he needed to re-schedule and I texted him. NO RESPONSE until the next day when he texted me with a text that was obviously for another client. When I pointed this out to him and asked when he was going to follow through with our appointment he texted back, "Sorry." That was it! No other callbacks or texts. This company might work out well for some folks and their work might even be good. I'll never know and I certainly can't recommend or refer them. I really hate to provide a negative review, but it can't be helped. I spoke with Brandon early last week and requested an estimate for some dry-rot repair. We set an appointment for Friday evening (9/18/2015). No one called or showed up at my home for the estimate. I sent them an e-mail because I thought my dates must have been mixed up, no response. I can't do business with them now, even if they show up for the estimate, because I can't even trust them to keep an appointment.
