Disgraceful and rude! REFUSED to put on a mask even though it's a requirement it for anyone entering - vendors particularly. Argumentative, sweaty and did I mention RUDE. Prior to visit, shared details about the pick up and asked where I was located (don't you have the address I gave you) and then asked what side of the street I was on - which depends on where I am situated and where I am driving from. Shared where we were, even providing a landmark. Once he arrived, he FLIPPED OUT stating I didn't give him the correct measurements for the price quoted and continued to argue in front of my co workers. As his little self was leaving, he commenced to walk away stating I wasted his time. No, sir, YOU are a waste of time! His anger stemmed from the mask issue and from there it went downhill fast. Subsequently, found someone that picked up the cabinet the next day at a cost far less than what he was asking for the larger cabinet. Lesson learned - if they don't want to follow the rules - then they don't get to go any further. read more

I called Dependable Hauling last minute on a Sunday about having some old furniture and trash removed from a house, post move-out. I quickly got a call back from Larry, the company owner. He stated he has a background in the moving industry. He took the time to listen to me as I describe exactly what was to be removed. He asked relevant questions about the items details that would help him generate a quote. He was also very upfront about how he prices and quotes jobs. He's 'on call 24/7' as he says, so he was very flexible and great about letting me know when he could come by. Very professional! Ultimately, my plans changed and I didn't need to enlist Larry's services, however I felt compelled to write this, as his excellent customer service and professionalism deserves credit. (I had called around to some other 'junk' haulers, and Larry was the only one who called back last minute!) Larry helped us with two major task before we could settle in the new house - first we had to get rid of all the junk we had collected over 15 years in the old place and, second we had to get the good stuff to the new house. Both task were done perfectly. Cleaning out the old stuff was sometimes a bit emotional but it helped that Larry was able to get some of those items that were still good but useless for us to Goodwill and might help somebody else out. And then the moving - he packed things so tightly which saves us money by getting everything done in one trip with a rather small truck. Where do I start!? I went online in search of a company to help clean out my parent's garage. Whatever you need moved, carried, transported or demolished----Larry is your man! He removed a giant, broken jacuzzi for me in about a day. Amazing. At the same time, I had some tree people removing 2 huge Eucalyptus trees. When they got down to the roots, they got their machinery stuck and couldn't get out. (My house is in the Hills, so everything was being done on a narrow incline. Larry jumped right in to help those guys too---and was instrumental in fixing that problem. He is strong, enthusiastic, energetic, friendly and helpful. Not to mention multi-talented. In addition to hauling, he is also a physical trainer and an artist specializing in mirror work. The physical trainer part accounts for his incredible energy and strength. The artist part was super useful as well because he helped me hang several large mirrors---and I may even ask him to help me with a mirror design I have in mind.
