I am very excited to write this review as I am thrilled with the care I received from Dependable Home Health! I had to engage the services of a wound care nurse to bandage a hole in my back that occurred due to a ruptured cyst. Their RN, Christy, did daily bandage changes on my back for over 2 months and then went to twice per week. Under her professional and compassionate care, my wound did not become infectious or heal improperly. I am most grateful for this company's professionalism and compassion in hiring competent nurses who know exactly what they are doing. I read their Mission Statement and Christy definitely embodied it. I will recommend Dependable Home Health and Dependable Nurses to anyone without any reservation. First, I'd like to state the FACT that this Company is incredibly Unreliable and very UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT DEPEND ON THEM, THEY ARE NOT DEPENDABLE AT ALL. The Supervisor JAMIE is CHILDISH and disrespectful to the MAX. ** I'm going to take ANY AND ALL the proper measures to report this company further for disciplinary actions. ** The root of all concerns and issues resulted from the Supervisor JAMIE. Jamie literally took it upon herself to wait till the first weekend of services to be so inappropriate and disrespectful to the client that was needing care. While the Client was in NEED of immediate wound care, to avoid an infection. Jamie rudely disconnected the numerous of calls the client attempted to make in request of immediate Wound care. Jamie interrupted and spoke over the client, she literally disconnected the calls after stating " blah blah blah blah blah When you're ready to speak to me you can call back and speak to me" #Click and she hung up. I called back and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor Jamie said, "I am the supervisor and no you cannot speak to anyone else." Again, she disconnected the call. The homecare nurse Carlie, she provided my clients wound care changes now the only disagreement we had was that she asked if we would participate with their new AI Assistant ROGER it records the entire visit and transcribes the visit into a visit summary. we denied this service. at first as we disagreed to comply with the AI Assistant recording the visit. there was some attitude from the Nurse. But we were on content terms as she left the first visit. Upon the second visit as Carlie provided wound care, we had no known concerns, disagreements or issues. she communicated with the DR as we requested for updated wound care dressing orders to be updated and modified per DRS ORDERS with specific instructions as to what supplies to use and such. The orders were updated. Then all of a sudden as I stated before over the weekend as the answering service customer serv. name was LESLEY she even heard the supervisor speaking to the client in a very rude manner, but Jamie advised her that she had no business on the call and demanded that Lesley disconnect the call, even after I specifically had requested for Lesley to monitor the call to record or reference to the un professional measures of service that was being conducted by a Supervisor. Jamie then took it upon herself to WITH OUT A DRS ORDER OR CONFIRMATION OF A DR (BETTER YET W/O NOTIFYING THE DR) JAMIE TOOK IT UPON HER OWN SELF TO discharge the client of services and falsely notated the reason being because the client was "HOSTILE". read more

I cannot speak highly enough for the Dependable Hospice team that we had in place for our father at the end of his life . The tender loving care and dignity they provided our father was immense. They gave my father dignity and respect at the end of his life. My fathers nurses, Shelia, Sally and Evelyn were so committed, compassionate and knowledgeable. Alicia the med tech who cared for my father was special. The way she bathed my father and spoke to him in his final days was beyond loving. Desirae was also a godsend to our family as she arranged volunteers as well as her own time to sit with my father when our family needed to get some sleep. The words I'm writing here fall short of what I really want to say but my family is so grateful for this team of professionals. They truly became family and allowed my father to leave this earth with love and dignity! We are forever grateful to them. Thank you! read more

Had knee replacement surgery. They are professional and prompt. I am recovering well and in good part, due to their services.

After being in hospital settings for more than 2 months and 4 surgeries due to medical mistakes, I was sent home for home health. Someone from the company greeted me at the Rehabilitation hospital and I asked if they were okay with animals. I was told that it would be okay. Went home on a Friday and didn't hear anything else from the company. Had to call Monday and they asked me if the rep informed me that they were not able to see me till Thursday. The rep did not inform me. I'm still in a situation where I need wound care frequently and a week without is way too long. So they scheduled a nurse to come out next day. The nurse called that night about time. Told me she was very restricted on time and that she would only come out mornings, which is hard on my family due to health issues. She came in promptly at the earliest time in which my father answered the door. She entered into my house without a mask after I mentioned the night before my family is immune suppressed. I was in the bathroom and she came straight to my bathroom. She wanted to see the Tub I would be showering in. She started complaining that there was not enough room to do anything, which hasn't stopped another home agency for another family member. She also complained about my house smelling and that she couldn't stay. Declining services. She wanted to see my surgical site that is still with stitches right then and there. While I was still in the bathroom. It is a below the knee amputation. I asked her to let me get out of the bathroom. She did not want to wait. My wound cover was removed, she took a picture, told me they were refusing service. When another home health agency does come in, but cannot provide every service I need. She just told me to talk to that other home health company. She did not check to make sure I could transfer to my wheelchair safely, she just made assumptions. She went running out the door with my surgical site still uncovered. In the bathroom. I called her supervisor and the supervisor called the nurse. I got a call back from the supervisor, she was nice, but I couldn't tell if my concerns were taken seriously. The next day, a wound care company was able to come to provide wound care, but they only can make it out once a week and is supposed to have a home health nurse help in between. The wound care nurse was more than willing to be in my home. Showing that she cared about the patient. An experience I wish could have been said about Dependable Home Health the day before. Leaving me in a very stressful and desperate situation looking for much needed care. read more

Dependable Home Health in Nogales has very problematic care givers. Caregiver Alma is horrible. She takes care of my bed bound brother and treats him bad. My sister pays her on the side to do extra work during her work hours. She mistreats my elderly mother when my mom tries to see my brother. She also is a very gossipy. We have complained many times to dependable and nothing has been done. read more

I've worked at Dependable for years and have worked with some truly incredible people. Dependable serves the community above all else which has made it easy to continue working here through out the years. I've had several family members and friends who have received our service and were very pleased with the results. Dependable also offers hospice care now and our hospice team is unbelievable caring. Just wanted to update and say that as of 9/2022 we are still with Dependable, and very pleased with the service we are getting. Our nurse is very knowledgeable, and accommodating. Elizabeth has been doing a great job changing my brother's supra pubic catheter, and when she was not able to be here, her replacement (I think Nicole) did an equally outstanding job. They're are ridiculous. They don't hire actual caregivers. They hire cheap cleaning ladies who they then train on how to give showers to patients. Then they pay them horribly while they cash in on providing "caregivers". That's unethical to the employees and the ones who are looking for quality care for their loved ones. You're better off getting your own cleaning lady and professional caregiver, than paying this company to provide it for you so they can cash in on providing unqualified and cheap staff.
