I found Dependable Pre Owned Cars by doing a search for used Honda Odysseys on CarGuru. We'd already looked at a few from dealers and private lots. To be honest, the time consuming pitch and pressure made us feel uneasy and reluctant to look any further. So before calling, I did a search to read their reviews. Their reviews were almost too good to be true. Truly, it is impossible to please all of the people all of the time, how do they do it in their line of business? After a little more digging, I found ONE review on Yelp that wasn't great, which is surprising because Yelp is often a barrage of negative comments. However, they only had one and their response to the discrepancy was perfect! It was professional and sincere. You see, great reviews are very important, but in my opinion, how a company handles a not-so-great review speaks to their character and tells you so much more. I knew instantly that the hour drive would be worth the trip. Upon meeting, we realized that particular HO wasn't the one for us because we wanted more amenities. Brent, Tracy and Tim assured us that they could find us the perfect van at the perfect price. We left knowing that not only would they find it, but that we would buy our second car with them. At the time we weren't 100% sure what we were looking for in a second car, but we knew we'd get it from them. For us, when we find people that have integrity, are of their word, and make us feel like we're special, we want to support them as much as possible. Long story short(ish), we watched their inventory and our eyes fell on their 2010 Prius. Just to feel as if we'd done some homework, we looked at and test drove a few newer models, before looking at their Prius. Let me tell you, their 2010 Prius was worlds apart in better condition inside and out by comparison to the newer ones and at half the price! It was a no-brainer! This car has great fuel efficiency, is quiet and a smooth drive. We LOVE it! Two days later, Brent reached out to say Tracy and Tim had found 'the van'. He also said not to feel pressured that we should just come look at it and that whatever we decided was no problem. Well, I can tell you, it would've been impossible to just look at it and not leave with it. It was in tip-top shape with all the bells and whistles (Touring Elite) and under our price point!! I cannot believe I'm in love with a minivan, but I am! Enough about these cars! Finding these guys was the true gift in this experience. They are the BEST! I'm sure it'll be awhile before we're in the market for a car, but we look forward to sharing the treasure of knowing them with our friends and family. I recently purchased a 2006 Honda Civic from Brent. I found a posting for it via Facebook Market. I searched for a new Civic online for hours upon hours every single day for a week until I came across his. Brent was quick to answer all my questions, and for questions he didn't have answers to, he made quick phone calls to dealerships he works with to verify information on the vehicle. He even was able to give information about the vehicle that not one other seller/dealer even knew about the mechanical aspect of the vehicle. I recently had a horrible stroke of luck with my vehicle, and needed a new one sooner than later. Brent worked with me on the vehicle, and did his best to get it in my hands as soon as possible, however won't disclose our deal's details. Any question regarding the vehicle he didn't have an answer to, instead of lying and giving me an answer I want to hear to sell the car, he'd give an honest 'I don't have an honest answer for that', or would make a phone call to verify something. Name another dealer that would do that for you, I bet you can't. While eager to make a sale and get me this vehicle, he didn't try to upsell, nor lie regarding anything. Even up front admitted some cosmetic damages here & there, which I was fine with. I've never seen such an honest dealer in my life, not only that, but a dealer that didn't turn me down when I didn't have all the money on hand on the spot, but worked with me so that we both could make the sale happen. I'm still shocked that someone this genuine in car sales exists. My family is so surprised and at awe of my vehicle purchase, that they're now going to purchase a new car from him as well, and are very excited to do so. I can't give any negatives for this dealer, as I sit here trying to think of any. Just genuinely someone you WANT to do business with. Trust me, you'll regret buying from anybody else. read more

This was my first experience buying a car and I was looking for a reliable used vehicle. After coming across a 2009 Toyota Highlander on the Dependable Pre Owned Cars website, my husband and I decided to go out to look at the vehicle. Brent and Tracy we're really great to work with! They let us test drive the car (along with another vehicle we were considering) and they had no problem allowing us to take it to a dealership to get it looked over. Ultimately, Brent went above and beyond by meeting us halfway with repairs, and it's clear from his cooperation with us that he was much very invested in doing honest business with us. We've had the car for 4 months now without any issues, so I can confidently say I'm pretty happy with our purchase! Could not recommend a better service! I came to Brent as I saw he could help sell my vehicle for me. I originally planned on just selling it myself but after a little over a week I didn't get much action besides the few spam bots looking to help sell or buy intending to scam. Brent said he could list it on the multiple resources he's partnered up with to get more views and attention to my truck, and said I was listing it too low, so raised the price as well to help get more money! I said okay, let's try it out, I went to SC a day later to visit family and he was calling me to say someone would like to come look at my truck, he organized everything to meet up even though I was out of town and made it quick and smooth as can be. The person coming to look at the truck ended up putting an offer on it that day and buying my truck! So not only was he able to sell it within a day, but also get more money than I was anticipating which is always a bonus. Brett and company are a class act! I saw a truck that I loved for sale at 9:30 at night and messaged Brett immediately. He responded at once and agreed to meet me the next morning at my preference of time. When I arrived, he took me in his own car over to a local shop where he was having two new batteries installed for me. We drove the truck back over to his office and I knew it was right for me. There was an issue with my license when it came time to register it for me as part of the sale and the office staff knew just what to do. They got me in touch with the tag office folks where I used to live and I was on the road in no time. The price was fantastic. Unbelievable story of absolutely incredible service! We contacted Brent Kinney about a car he had for sale, unfortunately he sold it before we could see it.
