I recently purchased a vehicle from Marietta Auto Sales. While the sales representative, Detric &…read moreJimmy were very patient and throughout the buying process, there were several disappointing issues afterward. I was told I would receive a second key fob, but that promise has yet to be fulfilled. I also put $3,000 down on the vehicle, yet the dealership couldn't even provide a full tank of gas. I left the lot with the gas tank barely above "E." I was reassured they would take care of it later, but after calling multiple times to schedule an appointment, I've continued to get the runaround. As a side note, purchasing the warranty insurance did not feel worthwhile in my experience. You can cancel, don't be fooled. Overall, the customer service after the sale has been frustrating and disappointing.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a car dealership. My daughter saved up her own money…read moreto purchase a vehicle and found a 2023 Hyundai Tucson at Marietta Auto Sales. From the beginning, we were told the car had undergone a 10-point inspection and that a few dings on the side would be repaired. Within just a couple of weeks, multiple warning lights appeared--including low tire pressure, worn-out windshield wipers, low windshield washer fluid, an overdue service notice (-139 days), and a "check forward safety" light. I made four separate trips--each over an hour away from home--to have these issues addressed, and only a few were resolved. Today 3/6/2026, when I returned to have the safety light checked, I discovered the hood latch was completely missing. At that point, I was done. I spoke with the finance manager, Chris, to ask whether I could receive a refund or exchange the vehicle. He told me they do not do swaps, only trades. I selected another car priced exactly the same--smaller, even--and was then told it would be treated as a trade, costing an additional $3,000-$4,000. Absolutely unacceptable. The dealership took no accountability for selling us a faulty vehicle, and I am deeply disappointed and hurt by how we were treated. Their focus seems to be on profit, not customers. Please do not waste your time at this dealership. They know the situation is wrong, yet all they agreed to do was replace the hood latch. gave me a half tank of gas, washed the truck, and then told me to go to a Hyundai dealer for the safety light diagnosis--which would cost me another $200. They would not give me anything towards it. SMH Please note: This is NOT a one time incident. There were several dissatisfied customers there today. After further assessment, the vehicle was found to have impact damage which was not disclosed to us. My attorney has been contacted

My wife and I purchased a new 2026 Toyota Crown Signia Limited hybrid SUV and Finance & Insurance…read more("F&I") products from Marietta Toyota on July 4, 2026. Overall, I rate the car buying experience with Marietta Toyota good, not great. If you're interested in how our experience went, keep reading. This review is divided into 3 parts over 2 separate visits. *** VISIT 1 OF 2 ON JULY 3, 2026 *** Duration: Less than 2 hours Part 1 of 3: Test Drive with Sales Consultant Brianna "Bri" Walters We called and made an appointment to test drive a new 2026 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The on-site call center associate, Rachel Eve, said they would try to find one for us to test drive. She was nice. When we showed up in person for our appointment, there was none for us to look at. We did look at a used 2023 Highlander and a new 2026 Grand Highlander, and decided they weren't for us. Marietta Toyota just happened to get a 2026 Crown Signia Limited in, so we test drove that instead. My wife liked it. Our sales consultant Bri was great throughout the entire process. She's been at Marietta Toyota for about 2.5 years. She was really nice, very professional, and not pushy. *** VISIT 2 OF 2 ON JULY 4, 2026 *** Duration: About 3.5 hours Part 2 of 3: Trade-in and Price Negotiation with Sales Manager Tyler Elliott We brought my wife's 2010 Toyota Corolla LE in for trade-in valuation and to get a final price from sales manager Tyler. Tyler is new to Marietta Toyota. He joined about three weeks ago and is from Alabama. Tyler had a more traditional, high-pressure sales approach. We get it - that's just how sales works. This was where the process was not transparent to us, the customers. It's a black box. Here's how the numbers broke down: * Sticker price: ~$57,500 (includes ~$2,000 in Marietta Toyota dealer add-ons) * Discount: ~$1,200 (2.1% off) - only available by financing through Toyota at 6.34% APR * Trade-in (2010 Corolla LE): started at $1,000, Tyler upped it to $1,500 * Net price after trade-in: ~$54,800 * Tax, tag, title, and other fees: ~$5,200 In order to receive a "discount," you can't be an all-cash buyer. One way dealerships make money is by getting customers to finance. You can make a minimum of three monthly payments and then pay off the car in full after that to get your "discount" and avoid paying extra interest. There was less wiggle room to negotiate on a Crown Signia because it's a rare vehicle compared to something like a Camry or RAV4. Part 3 of 3: Finance & Insurance with Finance Manager Christie Kerdahi Just when we thought we were done, we had to go into business manager Christie's office to discuss F&I products. She pitched us on three different contracts: a mechanical failure service contract, a prepaid maintenance plan, and a vehicle protection plan for the tires and wheels. These totaled almost $10,000. We had to decide on those contracts right then and there in her office. By that point, we were mentally worn out, felt backed into a corner, and just wanted to be done and out the door. We accepted because she said we could cancel any contract at any time and receive a prorated amount back. We are highly considering canceling. You could argue that a brand as reliable as Toyota doesn't need all this stuff. To be clear, this isn't a knock on Christie specifically - she was professional and just doing her job. This part was tough because of how the F&I process works industry-wide. The contract terms (e.g., time period/mileage, what's included/excluded) are structured in the dealership's favor. Again, they have to make money. The way the numbers are presented - every step of the way, not just F&I - along with F&I being the last step before you walk out with a new car, is part of a larger, deliberate sales strategy. *** ENDING NOTES *** Dealership sales and finance managers do these kinds of things all day, every day. A lot of customers only go through this a handful of times in their lives. So dealerships obviously have the advantage over the customers here. They get you right where they want you. While we weren't super prepared going in, we felt prepared enough - yet we were still blindsided and put on the spot multiple times throughout the process. It's easy to get hung up on technicalities and details, but they do matter. There was a lot of paperwork and not enough time to review everything thoroughly - similar to a home closing, where everything moves fast right at the end and you're signing before you've had a real chance to read it all. We happened to go on slow afternoons, so we were seen almost immediately by everyone. We were in and out about as fast as one could hope, so that was nice. We didn't want to spend a lot of time shopping around and haggling, so there was value to us in getting something we wanted fast. We're very happy with the car. We were lucky it had just rolled off the truck the day we test drove it. We like Bri and would work with her again.

Car Buying Experience - Please Read Before Signing…read more I purchased a 2026 Toyota Highlander Hybrid from Marietta Toyota. During finance, I was told add-on products were optional and could be canceled within 30 days for a full refund, so I proceeded based on that understanding. After purchase, I was able to cancel some add-ons, but a $2,800 windshield warranty was later denied for cancellation and stated to be non-cancelable under the contract. This was not clearly explained during signing. I escalated the issue through Toyota corporate but did not receive direct resolution from dealership management despite multiple follow-ups. Advice to other buyers: Carefully confirm in writing whether any add-ons are fully cancelable before signing, and do not rely only on verbal explanations in the finance office.

I would strongly recommend steering clear of this dealership. They tack on an excessive amount of…read moremark-up and try to squeeze as much money as possible out of you right from the start. One of the biggest issues is that they force you to pay for "Grand Care," which costs $3,262.41. The problem is you don't really know what that even includes -- they can describe it however they want, and you're basically expected to accept it without any clear breakdown. On top of that, their documentation fee is $999, which is extremely unreasonable. The average doc fee in Georgia normally ranges from about $599 to $699, so they're charging well above what's typical. Then when it comes to your trade-in, they go out of their way to undervalue your vehicle. They even use the excuse, "Well, since we're not a major dealership, we have to recoup somehow," as if that justifies shortchanging you. The warning signs were there from the start. When I walked in, I saw a woman who was visibly upset saying, "You all like to play mind games," before she declined to buy a car. I honestly should have taken that as a sign and left right then. The entire experience felt unprofessional, almost like doing business behind a fast-food restaurant instead of an actual dealership. Every time I said something, the salesman would disappear into the back, return with paperwork, and the information would be completely wrong. Once we finally agreed on a number, I thought the deal was set -- but even then, the actual numbers were off by a huge amount. To be fair, the salesman wasn't rude, but that still doesn't make up for how they operate. If you decide to go there, just know that even if you negotiate what seems like a decent deal, they will find a way to justify why you won't actually get the best price. By the time they add all their fees and mark-ups, you're already $4,000 to $6,000 in the hole before they even start processing the paperwork.

He patiently answered every single question I had about the Jeep, went out of his way to send me detailed walk-around videos so I could inspect it from home, and truly listened to exactly what I was looking for. There was zero pressure--just clear communication, transparency, and a genuine effort to pair me with the right vehicle. He made the buying process genuinely stress-free and enjoyable. When we arrived at the dealership, Chase stepped up to ensure all of our needs were met. His automotive knowledge is incredibly deep, and it's clear he's a true car enthusiast at heart. He's the kind of guy you could grab a beer with and talk shop for hours. I also found out Chase is a veteran, so I want to extend a personal thank you to him for his service to our country. Jay in Finance rounded out the great experience. He went to bat for us by shopping around to secure the best possible interest rate, explained the paperwork clearly, and got us through the signing process in record time. No painful waiting or endless back-and-forth--just efficient, professional service. To everyone else at Grand Motorcars who gave us a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable, thank you. Your hospitality didn't go unnoticed. Buying a vehicle should be an exciting milestone, and this team made sure it felt like one. We drove off the lot loving our new Jeep and feeling excellent about the people we bought it from. Joe, Chase, Jay, and the rest of the crew completely earned a five-star rating. Thank you! ------------------------------ UPDATE: Dropping rating from 5 stars to 1 star. I am dropping my rating to 1 star due to an absolute lack of post-sale customer service regarding my registration and warranty cancellation. The upfront hospitality completely evaporated the moment they got my signature. To resolve this issue and fix my rating, management needs to immediately handle the following: Process the Warranty Cancellation: I requested to cancel the financed third-party warranty immediately after my local Jeep dealership's inspection. I need immediate confirmation that the cancellation paperwork has been submitted to the provider, along with the official date the refund will be credited to my lienholder. Complete My Registration: I need a direct update on the exact status of my registration paperwork and a firm date for when my permanent plates will be ready. I want to be fair--Joe, Chase, and Jay were fantastic during the sale. But a business is judged by how they treat you after they have your money. I will gladly update this review again once management steps up, communicates transparently, and corrects these administrative failures. Until then, the 1-star rating stands.

I wasn't blown away by the BMW, it was super clean and in great condition, it was just kind of bland looking to me. Cameron was really sweet though, he sat patiently in the backseat while my husband and I drove for quite a while trying to decide if we wanted it. Turns out that Cameron is quite the BMW expert, he knew things I didn't even know after owning 2 of them for years! After expertly parking the BMW I spotted the sportiest looking Jaguar across the lot. While we are not big Jag fans I was rather fond of this one. God bless 'em, this time Cameron had a front row seat to some spirited curve-hugging, redlining, female test driving! But he never complained or showed any fear :) Guess what??!! He's just as knowledgeable about the Brits as he is with the Germans! Unfortunately we had to purchase elsewhere, even though the selection is fantastic here (and the cars super clean and in great shape) they just didn't have what I was looking for. A Great Place to get a Bad Deal!!!…read more A friend of mine referred my sister to this place and I accompanied her to make the worst deal ever!!!! Chris is one of the sweetiest con artist you will ever meet!!! During the test drive, the brakes scrubb a little, but Chris assured us it was because the car was sitting and it would go away once we begin driving, and it did... As soon as we drove the car off the lot, all hell broke loose, not to mention while my sister was signing her paper work, Chris & a repair man was outside fixing a hose he said he made a mistake and broke off while changing out the battery ( why was he even under the hood??? )... Well..on the way home the scrubbing began again with the breaks and also loud popping noises occurred whenever she made a sharp turn, very loud squealing noise when she cranked the car up the next morning.... It was horrible, my sister was in tears, but I was fired up!!!!! I reached out to Chris myself the next day to see what her options were and Chris stated that he was just a salesman, but later called my sister to find out the problem, ....still, we were referred to the repair center!!!!! Everyone I spoke with referred us to the freaking REPAIR CENTER. Very unpleasent group of people. In fact, they should change their name to "The Repair Center" ( SLOGAN: we will sell you a bad car and then we just may fix it ). In short, the car needed..... Brakes Belt ( loud squealing noise ) CV joints New radio wiring ( static, goes in & out ) Exposed wiring Missing spare tire and jack It's only been 3 weeks, so we dont know what else may come up. Sad Situation. The check engine light will NOT go off as well as the light that shows something may be wrong with the tire pressure. We spoke with the owner Williams, whom must have recognize that a bad deal was made concerning this vehicle and sent the car to a shop to be fixed 1 week after it was purchased ( yes, my sister had to drive around with no break, a squealing and popping car for an entire week - yes dangerous and embarrassing ), we dropped the car off on a Saturday morning and picked it up that evening ( inconvenienced once again but yet they took a $2,000 down payment from her,The car is overpriced and the intrest rate is outrageous ), only fixing the CV joints and the brakes. We recently went back to Marietta Car Center pick up a spare, but was told they didnt have a jack- wtf!!!! The spare looks as if it's seen better day.... So disappointed with William and the staff at Marietta Care Center. They suck and I wouldnt refer my worst enemy to this place. If there was a photo of what a Shady Car dealer look like.... William's Face would be it. I feel partly responsible for my sisters situation, I'm trying to find someone to refinance her vehicle so that she dont have to deal with these crooks at all, also trying to help get her radio repaired.
