Eric goes far above and beyond in his support: - He's incredibly dedicated. His attention to detail, check-ins, and support go far beyond any trainer I've worked with. - He's focused on real, lasting change, not quick fixes. Mindset is just as important as movement. - He's tough (in the best way!): he challenges you so you can discover strength you didn't know you had. Eric believed in me before I did. That kind of support is rare - and life-changing. Working with him has been one of the best decisions (and investments!) I've ever made. I'm so grateful to have found Eric! He changed my life.

My Mom is getting back into the gym after a stint of severe knee/hip arthritis and her focus has been on resistance training/strengthening. My Dad has had a history of falls and his focus is on balance and resistance training. I can already see that my Dad is more confident in his walking and both of them are excited for every session. Life is all about pushing limits (even into your 70's/80's and beyond) and I've been super impressed with Eric's care, motivation and individually crafted plans for each of them. Eric has excellent communication skills and it is apparent that he truly enjoys what he does.

Background on me, i am a…read more30+ year old female healthcare provider who is on her feet for 12 hours a day multiple times a week on her feet and pulling, pushing, turning, and lifting heavy patients. On top of that, ive spent most of my 20s doing HIIT workouts, spartan races, marathons, and sprints without proper pre and post stretches. My session was for 90 minutes but Michael took 120minutes addressing every single one of my aches. The most profound and surprising pain was located on my chest as well as my abdomen. Who knew that a mid abdominal massage would cause so much pelvic floor and lower back pain. I have been ignoring the tight muscles in my abdomen and it has been taking a toll on my lower back. Michael gave me some homework to do and I definitely will implement them daily. As I write this I feel completely loosened up and even feel sleepy. Ive been having some insomnia so hopefully I will have a good night sleep as well tonight. I completely agree with Michael that as health care providers we often fix localized pain with medicine or localized physical therapy without also stepping back and looking at the bigger picture. Carpal tunnel would also be a result of tight brachial plexus and should also be considered when coming up eith a treatment plan. If you're going to have any kind of musculoskeletal surgery, I would be open to consulting Michael first for second opinion. Sometimes its good to have other options other than surgeons who may have habitual tunnel vision.

The first session, he evaluated my body and pointed out things I didn't know were taking its toll. When he asked me to do upper torso twists, he asked if my desk set up resulted with everyone approaching me to my left. Uh, yes ...? He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. It's not your typical woo woo studio. It's unassuming, and it's effective.

The staff is always genuinely pleasant and helpful -- the kind of people who greet you with a smile and make the space feel welcoming. I love the infrared sauna, especially because you can book it in advance, which makes planning workouts so much easier. Their variety of weight machines keeps things interesting, and I never feel like I'm waiting around for equipment. It's rarely crowded except for the usual New Year rush. Parking in the lot can be a little tricky since it's small, but there's plenty of free street parking right outside, so it's never a dealbreaker. They also offer a great lineup of workout classes, which adds even more value. Overall, it's a gym that makes staying consistent feel effortless. Neighbors and friends are all members so it's fun to work out together and there are perks for referring new members too!

The facilities are very spacious, albeit extremely busy a lot of the time, they have a lot of classes and equipment, and the people who work there are all really personable and attendant. Super nice staff. So why not 5 stars? Because sometimes the music is just this contemporary drivel that makes me lose my mind. Yeah, I could put in some earbuds but they never stay in during heavy bag work. I just don't understand why music is so bad these days. Is it the gym's fault for things going on in the music industry? Yes. Yes it is. If you are sitting there all shift day after day, make a playlist and put some love into it. There's SO much good music out there. Don't play homogeneous corporate slop. We can do better. I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!!

He's not only the most knowledgeable personal trainer I've met but his ability to tell you what your imbalances/weakness is second to none. He's the type of trainer who will design a plan which is correct for you based off his assessment, not just give you the same cookie cutter work out that you may find from other trainers. My story: I came in with hip pain/stiffness and some lower back stiffness. My goals were to reduce the stiffness/pain, increase my mobility, my flexibility, my strength and focus on long term health. I'd tried stretching, mobility exercises and working with other trainers but didn't have any significant improvement. Paul did an assessment on me, and without having to give any additional information he could tell where I was having issues. After working with Paul for a few short weeks, my back stiffness and hip pain are completely gone and my hip stiffness continues to improve each week. Because I no longer have those previous ailments now I can focus on athletic movements and building muscle. He constantly reassesses the progress I make and adjusts my workouts to ensure growth. It's the best investment I've made. If you're looking for someone intelligent, non judgmental, and excellent at their craft, I would recommend giving Paul a try.
