Her management style really shows in the culture of the gym. She's empathetic, supportive, and genuinely cares about everyone who walks in, but she also knows how to push you when you need it. You always feel seen and motivated, not judged. Coach Mark is extremely knowledgeable and brings a different kind of support. He's calm, solid, and always there when you need guidance or reassurance. You can tell he really knows his stuff and wants you to succeed. Coach Ryan and Coach Aaron are awesome at helping you build new skill sets and pushing you toward your maximum potential. They're great at breaking things down, helping you improve technique, and showing you ways to level up that you didn't even realize were possible. I went to a regular gym for about 15 years and never saw real results like I have here. The difference is the environment. People hold you accountable, the coaches care, and you're constantly encouraged to be better. What's funny is I've driven by this gym for years and never really thought about it. With everything being online now and reading reviews, I'm honestly grateful I finally walked in. This place works, and the community makes all the difference. Highly recommend WoPro Fitness if you're serious about real results and being part of a supportive, motivating environment.

Then, a few months in, I decided to get married. I started taking Andrea's nutritional advice seriously and I was able to drop 15 lbs. within 5 weeks of my wedding! Not to mention that I looked and felt the best that I had in YEARS! I continued on with the good nutrition, it actually is pretty easy, and not only have I lost 40 POUNDS to date, but I feel so amazing that eating bad is not worth losing my progress and how insanely great & strong I feel: physically, mentally & spiritually. I am 40, exercise & nutrition are very important to me now that I am getting older. However, it is honestly not hard at all. I spend just a small amount of my time working out with Andrea & a small amount of time planning out good nutrition. It is almost unimaginable what a big task I used to think both of these things were, but come to think of it, it was actually that I lacked the knowledge that Andrea has delivered. I have literally had to get rid of every piece of old clothing and completely restock my wardrobe (even my chonies ;-). I didn't buy too much to restock though, my body is STILL changing and I continue to lose! So, what started as a target for energy & strength, turned into a 180° transformation for me - inside & out. As I said, as you go on it gets easy & habitual. However, the key lies with consistency. Having sessions with Andrea regularly and her heaps of advice & knowledge is what really has kept me on track. Without her specific & targeted guidance, I would not be as successful & I know it would be much more challenging to remain consistent. Not to mention that the start of my journey was interrupted with this crazy COVID-19 pandemic! Andrea was flexible as this whole thing unfolded, day-by-day, week-by-week. She adjusted to practicing CDC guidelines as they morphed and she was always on the side of extra cautiousness. I didn't miss one session, due to the pandemic. She just made it happen and I attribute a lot of my success to her. On a personal note, Andrea is fun, silly & the sweetest ball of energy. I love starting my mornings with her. Most of the time, I forget I'm working out. I'm usually a little draggy & really don't want to be there, but it ALWAYS changes within minutes. The workout and Andrea are the reason. She is a very smart, kick-ass, strong female. She inspires & fuels me with these traits. Needless to say, by the end or our sessions, I am always 1,000% in gratitude for having her in my life & our time together. I feel complete serenity, positive energy & strength to go out into the world and kick ass doing my part everywhere I go. Like I mentioned, I recently turned 40. I couldn't' be happier with myself that I finally made my body & health a priority and I feel extremely fortunate that I connected specifically with Andrea to start my journey & learning. She is super knowledgeable about everything nutrition & exercise, usually from a personal standpoint. I love that she has tried everything personally, so that she can be a good training & wealth of knowledge to us clients. And if she doesn't know off the top of her head, she enjoys the challenge and will hit you back with scientific data-driven responses in less than two business days. HA!     When The "Safer At Home" directive was issued to the city of Los Angeles to stop the spread of the…read morecoronavirus, I had just left my former gym and needed a new place to exercise. I was fortunate to have won a 90 day membership to 1A Fitness. Although all gyms in the city where ordered to close for in-person workouts, 1A Fitness was offering an at-home fitness challenge. The gym owner, Kevin was very proactive and adaptive to all the changes taking place during the quarantine. He instituted an online program that provided multiple classes to be taken via Zoom. Regardless of your home gym equipment, one could take part in the workouts. Kevin along with his fellow coaches divided up the 1A Fitness members and made sure to check in weekly on our progress. Kevin, Monica, & Justin made sure to see to it that we were all exercising daily, eating properly, hydrating, and getting enough sleep. As the pandemic wore on into the spring and summer, Kevin slowly re-opened the gym to accommodate up to four members in the gym at a time for one hour classes. Each member was given their own space & equipment to exercise with. As conditions improved, Kevin opened the parking lot for outdoor workouts with the same standard of each member having their own workout space and equipment. At all times, I always felt safe and confident in the environment that Kevin fostered. He made sure all members had properly cleaned equipment to work with and that the gym was kept clean too. I especially appreciated the fact that Kevin took the time to get to know me and my goals. I always felt confident in his instruction and the workouts he programmed. Although I was only a member for 3 months, I very much felt a part of the 1A Fitness community and look forward to when I can rejoin the gym again.

    I recently joined 1A Fitness for their 6-week challenge and have had my ass kicked every single…read moreday. The coaches, Kevin, Justin, and Monica are all amazing. They really make sure that they don't just overload you with weight. They want to make sure that your form is correct and will size you up with their recommended weight. A typical workout at their gym will include a warm-up (that'll make you feel like it's already a workout...lol), a strength portion, and a metcon (metabolic conditioning). Classes will run about an hour. Another great thing to mention is that their classes have no more than 8 students per hour. They have classes at 6am, 7am, 8:30am, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm. Location is also great as it's located right in the heart of Downtown Arcadia! If you're looking for a gym in the area, definitely give this place a try!
