Hey guys! Not sure how to start a review, I don't do these too often, however this one is much deserved! So, Let's get right in.... I have a skin story just like many of you, I've dealt with issues since high school I had horrible pimples... As I got older they went away, then I started wearing lots of makeup & sleepin it, then it started breaking out again.... I'm 37 year old African American female, with oily skin; dry in my t-zone (side note, I will be using a lot of professional terms b/c this has seriously been a journey & I've learned ALOT) anywho... over the past 4 years the pimples & extremely enlarges pore sizes would've go away... so 2015 for the most part of the year pretty much every month or every other month I started getting micro dermabraision... to no avail; 2016 A guy friend of mine who had similar issues, dark spots & uneven skin tone informed me an African American dermatologist in Beverly Hills; I saw his results over time & said let me try it; to no avail, the pimples would go away however the uneven skin tone & texture remained the same! 2017 this is my year! I'm going to do whatever it takes st whatever cost! I stopped getting the peals around Aug or so then I started looking into more invasive methods, PrP, lasers ect! I went to several consultations, looked at YouTube reviews for "ethnic skin, pore issues" so i decided to go with PRP vampire facial!! I continued this until March of 2018... at this point I was done, I was only getting superficial temporary results & make up was no longer hiding my texture; I was starting to use filters & photoshop more than I dared to admit to! Enough was enough! SonI googles African American dermatologist, I found 3 women that fit the bill....fast forward.... It's June, last month I got a micro Derm & a chemical peal & the idea of spending another $450 on a PRP sesssuon that i knew wasn't gonna work was too much! Back to my Yelp list.... I found Erica on yelp and immediately booked an appointment after seeing all of the amazing reviews. She does not disappoint! After damaging my skin with multiple harsh acne products recommended by a dermatologist, I booked an appointment with Erica. The acne medicine I used had caused my skin to be really dry, cracked and pale. During the appointment, she walked me through a questionnaire to get a better understanding of my skin and lifestyle. We followed that conversation with a hydrating treatment. After my first appointment, my skin looked so much better! It was moisturized after months of dehydration. Facials open up your pores, so the acne that was suppressed by the harsh acne products had come to surface after the facial, but by that evening, the acne had disappeared and I looked like my old self again. Since then, my acne hasn't come back. I may get a pimple here and there, but it's no where near where it was at the beginning of the year and my dark spots have lighten. BEWARE SCAM RUN!!!!! This company makes your acne worse from the review below I just read and also is trying to collect $50 without telling me the exact prices of a facial. Seems very scammy!
