I have had sun damage for a couple of years now that I have been neglecting. I have had many coworkers who told me that chemical peels are the way to go. I found this place after researching chemical peels for almost a month because I really didn't want my first chemical peel to be a crazy spectacle. I made the appointment on the website and I went in. I had to allow for up to seven days downtime is what I was told. I wasn't sure if I was gonna be peeling a lot or a little so I just planned accordingly. I actually found parking on the street even though apparently there's parking in the garage behind the building. I had no idea. The building is nice. It's right above the Beverly Hills cheese store which I could appreciate. They have the best sandwiches, but that's another review for another time. I went up to the studio. It was bright and I loved meeting the owner. She is very hands-on and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure if this was going to be a salon type of place but it's really just a beautiful office where she gives you one-on-one attention. She explained the process which put me at ease. It was a layered type of application and it got a little uncomfortable, but the fan that she gave me actually helped me a lot. Within about 45 minutes I felt fine and I left the office with everything applied to my face. I slept with it that night in the morning. I washed it off. I started peeling two days later and it wasn't exactly peeling all at once. It was different areas of my face one by one. I definitely look brighter and the darker spots I was targeting are gone! I still want to go back though because I do have some hormonal acne on my chin that I've been working on and they're definitely in need of another couple of peels. read more

I first came to the Peel connection about a little over a few months ago. I was going through a friend's Instagram stories and she mentioned that this was her favorite place to get a peel. So of course I had to try it. I have sun spots on my face that started appearing about two years ago. I noticed after using Pacifica sunscreen that the sun spots started to appear more prominent. So I thought it was best to finally check out this place. Nidah, the owner asked me if I wanted to start out light or strong? Since I had events coming up I didn't want to peel too much. So I played it on the safe side. She explained what she was going to use on my face, and how I was going to feel. I felt a light tingling sensation on my face, and it didn't hurt. The whole process lasted about 15 minutes. It doesn't take very long. I definitely had an immediate glow. The tingling sensation goes away after 20 minutes. My face felt tighter and smoother the next day. I started to peel a little bit a couple days later. It stopped for a good three days, and then I started to peel again on the seventh day. I went again because I really want to get rid of these sunspots. I wants a nice clear face, so I really need to stay out of the sun. I can't wait to see the results in the next week. I had a very disappointing consult with Nidah this morning. My appointment was at 9:30a, I arrived slightly ahead of time and she wasn't even on site. As a new client, it makes me think did she even prep for my arrival? As I was waiting there feeling like a loiterer in the hallway, she came rushing in completely flustered and huffing puffing. She opened the door & went into another part of the office (which I had to assume to follow her since she did not lead me/give me direction). After looking at my skin, she preceded to tell me she did not know I wanted a body peel. I have attached a screenshot of the confirmation where I specified what I wanted. She said, and I quote, " Oh I don't check those unless someone needs to cancel". Ok. Then she also precedes to tell me that all her products have hydroquinone (which I am severely allergic to). How can you have that ingredient in everything, for all skin types? Not all skin types are created equal, as a skincare professional you should have stock to treat all skin types. If I hadn't asked or mentioned, what would've happened? In conclusion, I left without getting any service done but as I left she said 'I can order the supplies, just for you, and you can come back next week' like she was doing me a favor. I found her on craigslist but her address is in Beverly Hills also, really confuses where to set your expectations. My results after two treatments, technically three, but I suffered a really bad breakout around Thanksgiving that put me back at square 1 (bottom right pic 12.6.19), post treatment one (top right 12.23.19), and the results after my last treatment (left 1.17.20). This last year has been really rough with the return of hormonal breakouts, I'm still working on balancing my hormones but these treatments have helped immensely with the hyperpigmentation caused by hormonal acne.
