When I arrived at the one-woman show the greeting was much last then par; actually very cool and off-putting. After waiting 10 minutes past my appointment time I left. Sometimes you just need to cut your losses and move on. Lastly, Sara's personality is not a match for mine. Both phone interaction and in person. Best of luck to Sara and her business.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Unexpected Charges and Lack of Transparency…read more I booked my appointment in person on Tuesday 7/15 because I wasn't sure what to select online for Gel-X removal. I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Had concerns with my first gel-x experience. It was painful. The tech didn't listen to my requests…read more I did. I was unhappy with the service but still paid full price and tipped accordingly. I came back for a refill, and two days later was in some of the most pain I've ever been in due to a cuticle infection. I voiced concerns that my skin was being cut, but they were shrugged off. After coming into the salon to show them the infection, the front desk staff was polite and helpful advising they would reach out to the owner and share photos they took of the nail. Days passed and I followed up again via phone as I didn't hear back. The owner of the salon requested PHI pertaining to the infection, including what Rx I was on, in order to even consider a refund. Initially, a gift card for the amount spent on the service was offered in lieu of a refund. I mentioned I was not comfortable receiving another service, and received a call back letting me know the owner was willing to grant a refund. Overall, the back and forth took about a week and a half. I was new to the entire gelx process, and am posting this review to let anyone else looking to embark on that journey know they should ask questions and voice their concerns. There are seemingly many happy patrons, but this was my individual experience.

This is my second review for Westside Walk in Clinic. I HONESTLY cannot say enough about this clinic and it's staff! Today we saw Hannah. My son had an almost closed throat and it was extremely sore. ***Let me just say first that he had strep 2 1/2 weeks ago and we went to his regular doctor. I called their office this morning (SUNDAY) and after having to talk to 4 other people (I am not exaggerating - 1 receptionist, 2 patient coordinators and 1 nurse NONE of which know my son at all)- I begged them to call our actual doctor who was on call. To make a long story short, he told me a couple of things it could be and he recommended we go to the ER! UGH OK back to Westside Walk In. I knew that my son would get amazing care and the cost would not be $5,000 just to walk in the door! Hannah was on call today and we literally waited about 5 minutes! SHE IS THE BEST!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! She did indeed confirm what our doctor told me... which completely reassured me that I was in the right place. She helped me with making a few decisions about tests and was so through with her diagnosis. Other than my annual "girly" check up.... there is absolutely NO REASON in the world to go anywhere else! If you are sick do not go here - seems like they are MUCH more interested in botox and fillers. If that is their focus - then they should stop advertising that they are a walk in clinic! I used to LOVE this place. My daughter was not feeling well so we "Walked in" at 4 pm on a Thursday. We were told that it was too late to see someone. WHAT? 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon???? The doctor was standing right there and was busy speaking to another "client" about how fabulous she looked - then the doctor looked at my daughter and said... "sorry". I will NEVER go here again and felt sick to my stomach. read more

I am so glad that they finally opened an urgent care on the westside that is so accommodating! Let's be honest- it's never exciting to go to urgent care, but this place makes as great of an experience as possible. The doctors & PAs are very professional and knowledgeable. The best part about this place is they offer Coolsculpting and botox and are super reasonably priced in comparison to other medical spas that offer the same services. At the end of 2024, I went back for lip filler (my third time getting lip filler, but my first time not being treated directly by Ginille). I received half a syringe using a different filler and technique than what Ginille had previously used. I completely understand that approaches can vary but this experience was very painful. I remember thinking at the time that I wouldn't come back, because I knew it didn't need to hurt that much. Unfortunately, that appointment was about 15 months ago, and I've had a white scar on my upper left lip ever since that appointment that hasn't gone away. I'm including a couple of photos and a short video for reference. It's more noticeable when my lips are moving. This review is overdue, and I wasn't planning on posting this, but it came back up after a facial I had yesterday when the scar was noticed, again. I had hoped it would fade over time, but it hasn't, and now I'm concerned about what it might look like if I get a lip filler touch up ahead of my wedding. I really loved Ginille and trusted her to bring on capable injectors, but unfortunately this wasn't my experience. I certainly am not expecting for perfection, but I consider a scar-less treatment pretty much the bar minimum. Looking back at my emails, I believe the injector who treated me was named Lauren.
