When the biopsy came back positive, they got me a timely appointment with a surgeon and I have gotten excellent care from the Sugar Land team. They have always taken the time to answer my questions and to be sure I understand and follow instructions. The staff has also been helpful and efficient regarding billing and insurance. When I contacted them today about a similar spot, they said there were no openings for several weeks, but when I expressed concern about how fast it is developing they gave me an appointment in a few days. This means I may be the reason for a double-booking. A family member who has had life-threatening health issues always reminds us that we'd rather be the person who has to wait than the emergency patient who is making the doctor late.

We will unfortunately be looking elsewhere for our Dermatologic care.

I've had the worst skin of my life this past year. It's so frustrating that I'm 40 and I'm still dealing with bad skin! Dr. Davila understands my frustration and wants to help me get my nice complexion back. He has been very empathetic, patient and understanding. I really like the staff at Southeast Dermatology too. Ashley has always been so sweet and helpful anytime I called about a prescription. She responds to her voice messages quickly, usually within 24 hours. Meranda is friendly and helpful as well. I had a spot on my arm that I was concerned about. I already had an appointment scheduled weeks away but she helped me find an earlier appointment which I appreciate so much! I am a redhead with ultra-fair skin so I have to be very proactive about any suspicious spots! I had to get a biopsy yesterday. Dr. Davila was so gentle that I literally barely felt it! The front staff was not very welcoming, but I checked in and sat down. I did have to wait about 20 minutes before being called back. I went in for a yearly skin check. The medical assistant that checked me in barely spoke to me and was very timid and quiet. I loved Megan, she is the PA that I was seen by. She was super friendly and welcoming. I did end up having to get a biopsy done on a mole, which was no big deal. I was caught off guard when I checked out that I owed $263. I already had paid the copay when I checked in. Again, Megan was great. Everything else, was meh.
