Been going here for 5 years, both doctors. Happy with their services and highly recommend.

So I had 2 skin blemishes. One on my arm & one on my calf. I went to get a hair blowout & the hair dresser saw my arm & told me it was skin cancer and that I needed to go see my Doctor immediately. I called Doctors office and let the nurse know what was going on. She said there is no way a hairdresser can diagnos skin cancer. They gave me a name & # to call and make an appointment. I called that dermatologist only to find out that they do anti-aging treatments but not cancer diagnosis or treatments. I went to Yelp to find reviews & recommendations. I called the 2 companies with the highest scores only to find out that they too are not for removing or testing skin spots. In the interim my favorite Aunt called me & I let her know what I was in the middle of. She lives a mile from us & recommended Sienna Dermatology. Bingo! I called & was asked if I wanted to see the doctor or an NP. I didn't care, just wanted someone that could take a sample & send it in for testing. Location and how soon I could get an appointment was my priority. The NP at Sienna was great & said neither spot was cancerous and that no biopsy needed to be done for that diagnosis, she could tell by site that I was okay. By this time I'm a little panicked & telling her the hair dresser freaked out & saw the same skin issue in another client that she told to get checked & he did have cancer & jokes about her saving his life all the time. So the NP at Sienna Dermatology froze the blemish on my arm & removed the skin tag on my calf. All the same day! I was of course thrilled to have that concern behind us. Especially before Summer! Every Summer the blemishes bother me but I never want stitches or open wounds in Summer so continue to put it off. Now the arm blemish looks the same except it's a little darker color now & I was told it will fall off like a scab. The tag on my calf looks pretty gross without a bandage. You can see a hole where the skin they removed is supposed to regrow & repair itself after a few weeks. So I am extremely happy with my experience and will be even happier this Summer since I won't have to worry about any yuck water getting in my sores. Had a cyst removed to get home, take the bandages off and it was still there. Also daughter went in based on my advice to have spider veins minimized. They are now worse, evidently the heat was too high. Won't return! read more

This company just bought Acclaimed Dermatology in Sugarland. Be super careful at this clinic because after using this clinic for almost 9 years, this last visit left me out almost a 1000$ with no results. Please check to be sure the product being used is not expired or ineffective due to temperature storage. I went Dec 13th and receive toxin for lines. It did nothing. Went back two weeks later and was given another dose only for it not to work again. The office was changing ownership, so I think they were using products they knew would not be effective to get rid of it or something. I was told it was my body being resistant. However, I had just received the same treatment on Oct and it worked fine. The toxins used were expired or not stored at the correct temperature. It's wasn't me. Sad and out a lot of money. read more

I was able to book a next-day appointment using Sienna dermatology's online booking system. Dr. Angel Puryear was professional and helpful. My appointment was for a general skin check (I've never had one before with a dermatologist) as well as addressing a couple of chronic skin concerns that I have. The waiting area was spacious and comfortable. I didn't have to wait long at all before I was brought back to the exam room and then Dr. Puryear arrived. The office may be a little hard to find because it is tucked away to where you can't see it easily from Highway 6. It's in a building that is tucked behind Center Court Pizza & Brew. read more

Went for skin cancer screening and to have some cysts removed. 1. Was taken aback when the doctor's assistance was a male. I wasn't asked if I was comfortable with that considering that I was in my undergarments. 2. Was also surprised to learn that the doctor would not remove any cyst. She simply confirmed that I had them and then told me those procedures were referred out to their surgeon, who has his own practice. Had I been told that when making the appointment, I would have just gone there. I was told that my information would be sent to that office and they would call me to set an appointment. It's been about 2 months now and I'm still awaiting that call. Was the staff and doctor nice? Yeah....but there was nothing that stood out as exceptional service. I went to see Dr Moore for my 8 year old son who had an unexplained growth on his finger. When I arrived the office was clean and the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Dr Moore decided to biopsy the part on my sons finger. I was very nervous for him but Dr Moore's bedside manner was very calming. She has a child his age so she was very gentle and understanding. She explained everything very thoroughly and in a child friendly manner. The procedure was quick and my child didn't cry and wasn't in pain at all. A few days later I went in for a few things and saw Dr Puryear. She was very friendly and thorough as well. Very informative and took her time to explain options and procedures. I have been to several dermatologist offices and this is by far the most personable,professional and friendly office. You won't just feel like they want to hurry you through the appointment and the staff is all knowledgeable and kind. Over 4 weeks ago I went to sienna dermatology and paid over 1400 hundred cash dollars for absolutely no and I mean no results. On Botox and filler. The lady with the needle never took a before picture. Was so focused on the bottom of my face with filler which is the most expensive of the two. ( really didn't need it) needed more Botox than filler. The Botox was never injected. Have very strong wrinkles that would have made a difference if injected.She pierced the skin to make it feel like something, and for drop of blood to show. But I took a picture in the car before I walked in. And a picture after. Waited until now.. still NOTHING. Absolutely no fucking difference. I hate sienna dermatology! I a reporting this company for fraud. They didn't disclose cost or dosage until you check out. Never called the day after to check on me. PLEASE BEWARE .. JUST DON'T GO read more

Yesterday was my second visit to see Dr. Moore. I highly respect her. Dr. Moore is patient, warm and listens to what you tell her. You get answers to your questions that you will understand. Office is so clean. The staff is wonderful. They greet you with warmth and a smile. I travel about 50-60 minutes to their office, but I would travel an hour to an hour and a half if needed. I highly recommend Sienna Dermatology if you are looking for a dermatologist or a new dermatologist. read more

I chose this practice as my new dermatologist since moving to the area. The location is very convenient however inside the office is not as nice/clean as I had expected. They are also not following COVID rules very strictly. 4 people in the waiting area together plus staff. I was asked multiple times to take off my mask which I declined. My doctor was not wearing a good protection mask, it kept falling off. Overall I'll likely switch back to my old doc and drive the 1.5 hours round trip. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Moore. She was recommended by my long-time dermatologist in West Texas who was one of her instructors during her residency. As a retired medical specialist, I am keenly aware of the quality of care provided. Dr. Moore's office is spotless and very efficiently run. Dr. Moore is cordial, relaxed, and unrushed. She took a thorough history followed by a meticulous examination. Several sun-related lesions were noted and I was reassured they were not pre-cancerous. I've had bad acne for a while now and looked around and found this place. They got me started on some antibiotics and face cream for my facial acne. I also get huge flakes in my scalp. They set me up with some shampoo and drops to use and after two months I see a difference. I stopped getting my face waxed because the cream thins your skin out but I can go back to shaving with my clippers. read more

This place is a waste of time and money! They are quick to set up a follow appt at your first visit, even if it isn't necessary. I saw Dr. Puryear at the suggestion of GP for a skin condition. Halfway through the 30 day treatment I called to say it wasn't working. I was told to continue the treatment until the follow up at which time the doctor examined my skin and said it looked much better than the first time. It did that day. However, I tried to convince her it was not better and she said it would never go away completely, that symptoms would present themselves every now and then. She did not offer any other treatments or testing. She just gave up and told me to purchase an OTC cream. She does not seem very interested in going that extra mile to solve perplex conditions. I was very disappointed in my appointment at Sienna Dermatology. As a new patient, requesting my annual skin review, I expect my new dermatologist to do a schematic of the moles/blemishes on my body, talk to me about sun protection and skin cancer, and basically spend some time with me. I received less than 10 minutes of "you look great" as she quickly looked me over then asked me for $130. She was nice enough but I've always received more on an initial visit. What do you compare to on your next visit unless you take notes? read more
