I left a deposit to buy the car the next day but called back to the dealership to ask if I could pick up my deposit and cancel due to another car that I was interested in. Michael the owner took my call and told me not a problem and that there would not be any penalty or cancellation charge. When picking up the car the next day I was treated very well by Eddie and Michael. Michael was very welcoming and warm to my daughter and I. While I was filling out my paperwork he was asking my little girl about school and then gave her some money and told her she could have it if she promised to read a book everyday. Again, I can not speak to the car itself, but I am aware of the car I was buying and looked it over for anything that caught my eye. I poured over the engine looking for any signs of leaking or suspiciously new parts and found none. The car I bought was exactly what Eddie told me it was. This was certainly not a giant corporate dealership, so it lacked some amenities but it was a good sized lot with a varied selection of vehicles at many price points. The casual feel of the place helped put me at ease as I tend to feel tense in situations where I am making a big purchase. Michael and Eddie, thank you very much and I would certainly recommend this dealership.

This resolved the belt noise issue and I was happy with his work. About 8 months later and approx 8,000 mi,I noticed the noise return. I returned the car to Scott and he found the belt tensioner, which is connected to the tensioner pulley needed to be replaced. He charged me $45.00 diagnosis fee and said the repair this time would be $305. I really wondered why this wasn't done with the first repair since this is a normaly replaced with belt. I took the vehicle to another repair stop instead witch charged me $ 135. To replace the belt tensioner. I will never return to Auto Excellece again and if you care about your vehicle, you won't either.

I was having trouble making it out to Novi from West Bloomfield and Jill, who answered the phones mentioned they can come pick my car up at my house for a $25 fee. I decided to do that and Jill scheduled my appointment for about a week later. Jill and one of the other people who worked there got to my home to take my car around 10am, and said they'd have it back around 4:30. I reiterated how I only needed the inside cleaned and not to worry about the outside. They brought my car back around 5, and it looked good as new. The inside was completely rid of dog hair and ground in salt and all the other messes kids make. It looked like they had given the outside of the van a quick wash, which I appreciate. Jill did let me know that depending on how difficult it would be to get the dog hair out they would possibly have to charge me more, I had told her that was fine. They did end up having to use special tools to get the dog hair out and did end up charging me more, but I didn't mind because she told me that might happen. I am so pleased with how my car turned out. I will definitely use them again after next winter!

First, one of the vacuums didn't work so I had to wait for someone else to move so I could use their spot. Second, the wash was not the best. There were still dead bugs on my bumper and they half dried my car. I pulled into a parking lot down the road to see if they dried it but there was still water on the back. I also noticed dried water spots around the car once I arrived at my destination down the road. I usually get higher priced washes but I'm driving back within the week or next week so I want to save that for when I get back home to California. I'm use to drying my own car and though this was one of those places. It really frustrated me. Waste of my valuable time when I could have went somewhere else. Lesson learned.
