I purchased a vehicle from this place in February 2020. It's been four months now, and I still don't have a plate for my car. I have gone to the place multiple times, and I have called as well, only to be told, "We'll call you". They never did. I contacted the Secretary of State office in Lansing, only to be told this place never submitted the paper work and paid the tax and fees for the plate. I then had to contact the Michigan Attorney General's office to report the SCAM. In addition to that, I have had two expensive mechanical repairs for the vehicle within the four months. This place has no warranties/guarantees. Unbelievable! They additionally would not provide a copy of the sale papers, and have you sign all documents online on their computer.... DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT go here... I went in to see a Volvo, didn't test drive it, came back per salesman's conversation, got there, HE WASN'T nor was the car ready as he said it would be. I'm writing this review on 10/23/21 and they currently have a white 2015 Silverado for sale that I would be very wary of. My husband and I made two trips to see this vehicle (totally in 10 hours of driving) and are very dissatisfied with our experience. Initially before heading there the first time they just mentioned that the truck was getting an oil change, but when we arrived they mentioned it had a cylinder misfire and they were going to replace the plugs and wires to fix it. We still test drove it, and confirmed that it did have a misfire. We drove home and over the next 24 hours communicated with the dealership multiple times to ensure that they had corrected the issue and the engine was no longer misfiring. After being told multiple times that various people had driven it and the car was good to go, we drove all the way back only to find it was still misfiring. We both believe it is a much more serious issue, and after telling the dealership this they brushed it off and said "no worries" that we didn't want to purchase it. I'm afraid they are not going to fix the issue, and someone with less car knowledge will not recognize the problem and purchase this vehicle. read more

I found a car that I was looking for on their website. The website had decent pictures so I went to see the car in person. The pictures proved to be true, the car was as nice as advertised. When I walked in I told Eddie what I was looking at and he had it ready for me to drive within minutes. I had a few concerns after the test drive, and he worked with me for a solution that was acceptable for both of us. Eddie and Mike were both a tremendous help in getting me financed (a recent divorce gave me some hurdles to jump through). Several phone calls led to no avail so we had to go to Sec of State and pay for license and title all over again so we had it. Do NOT i mean DO NOT go here. 5 years ago my family bought cars from here and they are good. Thats 2 avengers and a Jeep. That was when Mike was there. They clearly have new ppl working here and they get over on you. It's time for them get new cars but from my experience they probably won't be back. I purchased a car 3 months ago from this place. I've been back at least 2 times every month. 1 they sent me off the lot with a car tire that at any moment could've blown out. Drove the car 2 wks brake sensor comes on i took it back. Eddie (salesmen) gets in car and says the emergency brake is sensitive! Come to find out i needed to replace all brakes and rotors. Replaced them and guess what the light is off. You cannot trust them. Not to mention the oil change light comes on every time i start the car and that's not an issue. By this time i go to my personal mechanic. Let him inspect the car. Took everything he said back to dealership. Eddie then says it's all a lie. I had leaks, sensors issue, engine light continuously comes on. 2 days ago my car overheats smoking. Called them they said oh bring it up we'Ll look at it. Get there and they did absolutely nothing. Something was wrong with radiation hose. But in 3 months why would something be wrong with that right?! Haas says I'll cut you a deal pay for the part and labor free. Googled the part and it was no more than $$20 bucks yet i paid $98. Charged me for the work which I'm sure was over priced. I was NOT offered a warranty. Though their website says 90 day warranty guaranteed. Upon my last visit i was asked and told Haas i was told car was as is and no warranty. He then offer a warranty for $1100. No 1 called to let me know the car was ready. When i picked it up Haas who gave me a price or the mechanic was there to answer any of my questions. I'm stuck with a car that's not reliable. The salesman that works here will get over on you!!! my first time financing a vehicle and I decided to go to this place. Worst mistake of my life. I've had this car for 6 months now and when I test drove it I fell in love I always wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee and was told I had to get a 2008 to 2009 because of financing but that all changed after a month. It started being noisy and vibrating while accelerating. When I called to ask them how much it would be to service and check my trans since I was told it could be why it's vibrating I was asked if I had a warranty which I was never told about to begin with ( was told sold as is ) I was told to call the mechanic to get pricing. He said he'd call back and never did. Ended up taking it to a trans shop and after paying $200 was told it had little to no fluid and that the filter was laying in the pan also did not stop the vibration. Got the noise fixed cost me $150 then the alternator went bad another almost $400. Now I'm being told it could be my TC or TCC which will be anywhere from $600 or more my dad tried to call and talk to the manager mike today and was told I never called about my issues and than hung up on him 3 times. This place is a rip off and only cares about their money. Never go here for a car.. save ur money and buy from a real dealership... seems like this place will fix it enough to get it off the lot and your on your own after that. read more

Did not have a great experience trying to buy a car that was the exact model year and color I was looking for. I asked them to go through a check list of things working or not. I do not think that was asking too much of them considering I would be traveling and purchasing from out of state. If they were busy or if they thought I was stringing them along or if the weather was too cold, I told them I understood if they wanted me to buzz off and stop wasting their time ( i try to be cognizant of others time). At first I inquired about financing with bad credit and relying upon my employment offer letter. But I really wanted to make this sale happen for me, so I gathered the necessary funds to make the purchase outright and stated so in my conversation with the salesperson. But after phone calls, email, waiting for callbacks and waiting on the open phone line, you would think with their experience in the industry and the dangers of buying a car online, they would know I was just trying to make a non regrettable purchase. I got the impression that they did not think I was serious and did not have the patience to deal with me on a $4k car that is missing the remote key. (which is impossible to replace because the key fobs are not being made anymore). I was NOT treated rudely, just indifferently, like somebody who did not have money to buy their cars. (Which is true, I did not when I first contacted them, but within 24hrs I had the cash for the car and the flight). Needless to say I will not be purchasing from them. It is sad, I really wanted that car and I was ok with the price, I just wanted to verify what I was getting before getting on a oneway flight. I am probably being a little whiny, but a more complete and accurate description would solve the inevitable questions from online/out of state buyers like my self. read more

This review has been pending for some time. I promised the guys at Ford Road that I would make this review as soon as I drove my car a little but I wanted to get a very thorough review ready as I personally think it's warranted when buying a car. Dealers want to often trick you into giving an amazing review with discounts right then and there so you don't necessarily come back and leave any negative reviews. They often sweeten the deal with "give me a review now and I will discount your purchase" or give a card/gas card of some sort. I bought my car a year ago and it has been my daily driver ever since. When I first went in, I wanted a grey 2009 Audi A4(84k miles) but they sold it that morning so I ended up settling for another A4 with more miles on it with a terrible interest rate. I have some mixed feelings about this purchase. I love the car, as it has always been one I wanted to own but it came with MANY issues that they hide or may have "overlooked" when they inspected the car. 2 months after buying the car, the engine went bad and I mean complete valve failure bad. Luckily they kind of forced my hand in getting the warranty which saved my butt and it ended up being covered under the warranty due to it being hardware failure and not a sensor failure. The problems didn't stop there. They were many small problems that popped up throughout the rest of the year of owning my car. As of right now, my warranty company has paid more than $12000 (yes, you read that right) to the mechanic in repairs. Literally more than what the car was worth. For this, I am giving an honest 3 star. I love the car, but I feel like I was tricked or the car was repaired just enough to get it off of the lot. Even the front bumper they claim to have fixed/replaced didn't stay fixed for very long. Long story short, do more research with many other dealers UNLESS your credit is crap then you will most likely get approval here but you never know what you may get under the hood. Another reason to give 3 stars is that they did offer me some great advice. When I applied for the auto loan through credit acceptance, I was given a 25%! Interest rate. They gave me great advice saying to pay it automatically for 6 months then refinance through my credit union. It actually worked! 6 months of on-time, automatic payments and even though my credit was still rebuilding, I was able to get refinanced with a 3.4% interest rate and have been making double payments since I could afford anything up to what I was paying previously. Was the way to go! So, I do apologize for this being long but I wanted to give people the kind of review that I personally looked for when I was searching around and If anyone on here or from the shop wants to test the validity of these, than I would be more than happy to provide the repair statements for the car! So I finance a car thru them and not even a month or two later I'm at a shop doing my exhaust and the mechanic goes ur roters and breaks look bad u might need to change them Ina couple months so like he said my breaks got bad after a couple months started scratching medal to medal so I took it back there to get it looked at and get prices and they tell me it's only the front roater that's needs changing and will cost me around 220 knowing not to trust dealerships because they crack u I took it to a local honest mechanic that my family have been dealing with for a while who assured me it was the back roters not the front and showed me exactly the problem and where it was and gave me a better price 175 to me that shows that they don't really care about costumer service they just want to make money anyway just don't be the one to be stupid enough to give them your money.. read more

This place don't deserve any stars.. I purchased my Ford Explorer mid February. One week later, my car shut down. It wouldn't do anything. Not even lock the doors. Replaced the battery and the truck was back running. One week after that, my car started dragging around 30 mph. Went to the dealership today (6 weeks after purchase) to get the transmission looked to see what the problem is. He became very rude while talking on the phone and trying to service me at the same time. He sent me to a car shop and the drove my truck and told me within a minute of driving it that my transmission is going. How sad? Don't come here to purchase a vehicle, you'll end up losing thousands and driving away with a lemon!! read more

They sold me a 2003 Lincoln Ls that had a bad computer! The car didn't even make it half way to my house before the check engine light came on and the car shut off in the middle of me driving! I almost caused two accidents because it cut off in the middle of an intersection! I've never been more afraid in my life! The ink was still fresh on my paper work!!! And when I called Abe he told me that the car wasn't like that when he sold it to me...... I was speechless.... I didn't even have the car a full HOUR! And when I tried to take it back, Abe told me the car was "as is"... And if I wanted a warranty I would have to give them an Extra thousand dollars within 30days... But I'm 22 years old and I gave them all the money I had been saving up for this car... So now I'm stuck paying 1700 for a New computer system. Also the Ford dealership told me the car had 4 YES FOUR other codes that the car lot tried to earase and I'm not sure How much those are going to cost me! NEVER SHOP HERE EVER!!! Clean inside and out. He knew I was in an accident this summer that totaled my truck and had left me a little shaken, so he and JP went out of their way to talk to me about safety ratings and find me a car that would ease my anxiety. This place knows nothing about customer service or selling cars. They buy the vehicles at Auction, say they do a "drive train" check on the vehicle where in reality, nothing is looked over. We recently purchased a truck from them and nothing but money is having to go into it. They buy cheap vehicles that have loads of issues. They wipe all the engine light codes, only for them to pop up once vehicle is purchased later down the road. Or in our case, right down the road after purchasing. I can not speak for the car just yet as I haven't had it long enough. Eddie was a good salesperson who was not pushy and was pretty well versed in the inventory he had. Seemed very honest and forthright with me. I left a deposit to buy the car the next day but called back to the dealership to ask if I could pick up my deposit and cancel due to another car that I was interested in. Michael the owner took my call and told me not a problem and that there would not be any penalty or cancellation charge. When picking up the car the next day I was treated very well by Eddie and Michael. Michael was very welcoming and warm to my daughter and I. While I was filling out my paperwork he was asking my little girl about school and then gave her some money and told her she could have it if she promised to read a book everyday. Again, I can not speak to the car itself, but I am aware of the car I was buying and looked it over for anything that caught my eye. I poured over the engine looking for any signs of leaking or suspiciously new parts and found none. The car I bought was exactly what Eddie told me it was. This was certainly not a giant corporate dealership, so it lacked some amenities but it was a good sized lot with a varied selection of vehicles at many price points. The casual feel of the place helped put me at ease as I tend to feel tense in situations where I am making a big purchase. Fact, not Opinion: I purchased my vehicle (Paid in full), drove it home, parked the car and washed it, less than 10 minutes later I tried to start it and it wouldn't.. Approximately 1 or 2 minutes later it started. Drove to work the next afternoon, a few hours later as I get in my car to start it, AGAIN it doesn't start; this time for about 4 or 5 minutes. The dealership was closed at this time of the evening, but I did call the next day; dissatisfied call after mind you I just bought this car, paid in full and the same day of purchase I have problems. 2 or 3 days later the car cuts off on me while I'm driving on the freeway to go pick up the license plate at the dealership. I made it off the freeway, called the dealer and was told I need you to get the car here and then we can talk! The car wasn't able to get 40 miles from my location where it stopped working, but we did get it to a repair shop where it was told to me by a mechanic that the alternator was no good. purchased a vehicle in January and the sales person Tone at that time advised me once I got to the dealership that the vehicle I was approved for wasn't any good but he wanted me to review other inventory at that time. Once I was approved by Credit Acceptance I had to bring the vehicle back for the GPS to be placed on the vehicle (I was suckered into doing so). I brought the vehicle back and the owner; Mike kept the vehicle. I came back days later to retrieve my down payment and Mike said I can get you financed through a credit union. I was financed through Parkside Credit Union and my payments were half of what they were with Credit Acceptance. However; I did NOT have a warranty. Mike kept stating he had a warranty company available for me. However; as the days went on he didn't have a warranty company so I was advised to pay another $1500 for the warranty (that was disclosed I did not have). Now here it is literally less than 4 months later and the engine has gone on the car. I contacted Mike and he indicated he could help me if I removed the bad rating I gave prior. My cousin which is a minister also had a situation occur but his engine went out 6 months later. Don't let these crooks Rob you. The cars aren't 100 percent and they are preying on those that aren't knowledgeable about the purchase of a vehicle. read more
