Derthicks corn maze is the absolute worst place to go with a group of people, you will be berated by the employees for walking through the corn maze, and an employee was following us the entire time. Didn't say anything to us and just watched to see if we ran slightly over the SPEED LIMIT that they clearly set in place, keep in mind they never told us before hand not to walk to fast, if they had we WOULDNT have have came to the maze in the first place. There were multiple accounts of random people behind us, being GRABBED and having a bright light shone in their face. All the while they were screaming and swearing "(F***) you" at them, never EVER go here you will be kicked out (with out a refund) for doing the simplest things. I took two of my younger friends to this corn maze hoping to experience jolly good cheer. However, about 15 minutes into the corn maze we were caught "jogging" and they threatened to kick us out. Later, a kid not with us jumped into the corn and when the security saw it he kicked US out. Reason of?? He claimed we were guilty by association. Absolute lies. They said that if they saw us back in there they would call the sheriff despite us not doing anything. They would have security follow us throughout the maze which ruined our experience. We had a rather large group of Teens, youngest being 14 and oldest being 19. They would put hands on you all of the time if you walk faster than a sloth, and it is so stupid. As he escorted some of my friends out of the premisis, he continued to drop f bombs and swear heavily at them. Keep in mind, these aren't older teens... these are 14 year olds. Terrible experience. The owner yelled at my family twice to not walk through the corn, and we never ever walked through the corn! She was beyond rude, and completely ruined our Sunday family outing. We were literally strolling through the maze and talking. This lady is crazy. Don't waste your money. read more

We went for the second time in 5 years yesterday, and had a great time! The kids LOVED the zip line!! The human hamster wheels were great fun as well as the slides on the hill! The corn maze was awesome, I'd still be in there if not for my husband's navigational skills! The pumpkin patch is fabulous!! Almost every employee we encountered was really nice! We loved the cannons and the archery, and I am absolutely in love with Jenny, the donkey. What a sweetheart she is!!!! The bunnies need more space, I felt sorry for them, and the piggies, but other than that, great job making such a fun family destination!! My son had such a great time in the human foosball game, and my daughter loved the hay bale playground! read more

All around poor experience. Very rude staff that actually ran at us screaming for cutting through a path that was already very well worn and open when we were separated from our 4 year old. We almost lost him because he was terrified by her over reaction and tried taking off to get away. We bought a combo ticket that was supposed to get the maze and the hayride. We did the maze which ended horribly because of the banshee who came screaming. After we left the maze we had to deal with her pointing at us while talking to another employee as we bought drinks for the kids. She must be a family member because most people would fired for treating customers the way that she does and looking through other reviews on social media this is a common occurrence. We went to the hayride line. We ended up first in line after the few groups in front of us left because they were tired of the wait. After a half an hour, maybe longer we gave up. Part of our group just walked to the pumpkin patch. They had to pay more then expected because they "can't make change" so they just keep any extra. My niece waited in the zipline line for half an hour and just gave up because in that entire time one girl went three times and the line never progressed. She would have been there hours before they got to her so that was wasted ticket $$$. Everything is spread pretty far apart and there are no signs that point out which way everything is. You just need to take long walks and look. No retail store or anything like that. Just expensive fair style concession stands, a really long walk to a pumpkin patch where they won't return change, long lines for everything, and a corn maze with a nasty woman who goes from normal to a screaming banshee in a second. We paid for a hayride we never received and overpaid for everything else. It's a money grab that doesn't offer much in return. Just go to a smaller family owned pumpkin patch where you get fast friendly service. The only concern they have for customers here is how to get money. After that they could care less. read more
