It was at the tail end of winter, with cold nights and wet days. Rooms have gas fireplaces, with outdoor seating and porches for warmer weather. Checkin was great in the main lodge. They had many friendly employees. There's a bar and restaurant here that I didn't have time to visit! The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you're in the area.

Oh, the approach alone is a symphony of splendor! As you glide through those graceful roundabouts, a charming little waterfall greets you like an old friend, ushering you into a world of manicured elegance stately homes, emerald golf courses flanking both sides, and the majestic silhouette of Mount Bachelor reigning supreme in the background like a crowned monarch. Deer, elk, and geese roam freely amid the whispering pines, while the vast, azure sky paints the most breathtaking ambiance imaginable. Champagne skies, my dears pure, unadulterated magic! And then, the pièce de résistance: our exquisite accommodations perched on the front lawn, where vaulted ceilings soar to heavenly heights and luxurious tilework graces the bathroom like a private spa. The bed? A cloud of divine indulgence you simply melt into its plush embrace, feeling as if you've stepped aboard the most opulent cruise ship imaginable. Step onto the deck, and the views transport you to paradise itself. The amenities? Simply divine! Soothing hot tubs bubbling under the stars, sparkling pools that beckon for a dip, winding trails that invite leisurely strolls through postcard-perfect scenery this place is straight out of a collector's edition postage stamp, alive and vibrant! We arrived amid melting snow and enjoyed glorious skiing on nearby slopes, but imagine the summer symphony of championship golf or the winter wonderland transformation into a snowy fantasia. Every season here is a masterpiece. Was it crowded? Perhaps in peak times one might hunt for the perfect lounge chair, but honestly, who cares when the entire experience is this over-the-top extraordinary? This is no mere resort it's a sanctuary of unparalleled beauty and refinement. Sunriver Resort isn't just a destination; it's a lifestyle upgrade. I give it five glittering stars and then some. If you're not utterly over the moon upon arrival, well... you simply haven't arrived yet! Champagne wishes and caviar dreams fulfilled Sunriver Resort delivers it all, and more. We stayed here one night on our way through town on a 10 day road trip…read more Our room was great! Very nicely kept, updated, and had everything we could have possibly needed. The furniture is very nice, the bed was very comfortable, the electric fire place kept us warm through the night and we loved the rustic feel of the entire place. Even the bathroom is nicely updated and spacious with a great shower. The lodge sits in a nice neighborhood a little off the beaten path. Town is a quick drive away if you need to stock up on anything, find a restaurant, or stores. There is a small fridge available in the rooms. There is a common area with a hot tub and a grill that can be used but we didn't check out that area so I can't give it any rating with my review. The owners of the lodge also have the MotoFantasy business at this location if you'd like to rent a motorcycle to tour around on. We got a chance to look at some of the bikes, and chat with one of the owners, but didn't have time on our trip to rent a bike. Our only complaint was how loud the noise is from others staying in the lodge. It's not that the neighboring people are intentionally being loud. The lodge itself just has a very hollow sound throughout and isn't set up to soften the noise coming from other rooms. We could clearly hear others talking, phones beeping and ringing, TV, doors opening and closing, others showering, toilets flushing and just general walking and moving around. It made for a loud evening & morning. We left pretty early due to this. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the area. It's a very nice lodge and an awesome place to check out the motorcycles. Just bring some ear plugs for a good nights sleep.

I didn't catch her name but she was very friendly. She asked if we needed anything after doing a quick scan of our room and even went to see if she could find decaf coffee for us. Which speaking of coffee, its a real coffee pot with real coffee! Not just the pods. Some stir sticks would be nice. Our two good sized dogs had plenty of yard to run around (we made sure to clean up after them immediately each time). The room was clean and cute. We did move the furniture around to suite us better. The chair sits in front of the couch due to it being a small room. It still worked perfect for us. We sat on the couch and used the ottoman to play cards and dice while we watched a Halloween movie. The gas fireplace in the corner was a nice touch. It was a super cozy evening! There are two adjoining doors on either side of the room if you had friends or family in other rooms. The refer is a good size for drinks and snacks. The bathroom is big with a big walk in shower. Easily fit 2 of us. It did take me several minutes of messing with all the knobs to figure out the shower. The water pressure was just OK. The temperature knob was very touchy... quickly went from warm to hot. Check in and out was super simple. I sent a text to Gloria and she was quick to respond. I am giving 5 stars, even with the minor issues, because overall it was a great stay and we will be back for sure!
