My fiancé went to get a spray tan before our upcoming wedding and was treated absolutely poorly. The gentleman that checked her in was no help, gave her horrible attitude and when she requested to see the different shades of tan to get to make sure she selected the right one he refused to help or show her anything. Absolutely ridiculous that customer service has gotten so bad these days, it's a real shame. read more

My husband and I went here today and the girl at the front desk was so awful and rude! This girl needs some social skills and some lessons on how to speak to people. When working at the front desk you are an example of a business. I had looked at the company online and talked my husband in coming too! Online it says 19.95 for a week unlimited for brand new customers. She told us she would do $19.95 for a one time visit! She said " I don't know what to tell you, I don't make the website!" This was said with the nastiest attitude! Not exactly what you would expect from an establishment that you are going to give money to. We actually didn't mind paying the extra $$ but at that point it was more about the way she acted! It was so bad that we chose not to give any money and left. I live right down the street and now would rather drive 20mins to go somewhere more welcoming. If only the owner of this establishment knew how their worker was running the front desk and welcoming new clientele. Quite shocking really! I just LOVE this salon!! The staff are so friendly and helpful and the salon is so clean.. I've never seen so much as a a piece of paper or anything on the floor. I use to go to a salon further from my home before I discovered this, so I get the convenience, as well as the best salon in town!! I have tanned on and off for many years in many places that not only I lived, but that I traveled to for work. I remember when I joined, ( of course, me thinking I knew tanning.. ) Teri said we'll start you at a lower time".. ( I agreed, and didn't say anything but thought to myself.. I could do the full time ) Well, she knows her stuff... because it was just what she said it would be, I didn't burn and it was a gradual process... it had been a while since I tanned... I tan easily, however if you haven't been in a long time or ever.. it could burn you if you don't listen. Thanks for that Teri...! I use certain levels of beds so I am always willing to wait if it's not available... I have done the red light as recommendation from my trainer and I liked it, but I just don't find the time to do both right now.....The packages are fair and reasonably priced... I have been going to Desert Bronze for over a year now and I really look forward to my every visit. Teri the owner is so nice and welcoming and actually seems to remember which tanning bed each of us like best. Teri always keeps the salon spotless and running smoothly so there is never a wait. The new Mega bed is my personal favorite and since the bulbs at Desert Bronze are replaced regularly Teri always lets us know so we can adjust our tanning time in order that we all achieve our best tanning results, as with the Diva bed today. It was just ok...lady seemed a little stressed and acted like she wasn't sure I should be there...I don't know I just didn't get a good vibe. I got the impression that she didn't think I had a clue...maybe she was having a bad day but probably won't go back. Price was 30+ for a one time spray...there are a lot of places they offer unlimited for that price. This place has gone way downhill! It used to be fast in and out, polite service, clean, no hassle. After hiring a bunch of untrained, rude high school kids, and fielding multiple complaints from multiple people with "good help is hard to find, and I (the owner) can't work all the time, and Randy Johnson doesn't mind when that happens (I wonder of he knows she drops his name like this every chance she gets)", and no resolution is made...I do believe it's time to cancel the membership and find another tanning salon! read more

3 stars are for the sweet staff. Unfortunately I had to stop coming here because their beds are outdated and do not get me tan at all. I easily tan and on top of that I always buy their most expensive lotions that are hundreds of dollars. I've tried different beds there as well but still to no avail.
