Dr Johnson came to my rescue this week after knocking my spine out of whack. I called his office on Tuesday morning and he was able to see me Tuesday afternoon. It's a small establishment and it didn't have all of the bells and whistles that my last chiropractor had, however,, the main objective to help me get out of pain was reached the very first day. This was all sent via text & was super easy & quick to complete. The office is in the Target shopping center in Sky Pointe easy to find and plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Wright is wonderful! He truly wants to help alleviate your pain and get you back to enjoying life. Dr. Wright is full of information too. Upon your first visit you will need to fill out 3 forms and will need a form of identification. So make sure you are there about 15 minutes before your appointment. They also take walk ins which is very convenient if your schedule is all over the place like mine. They take Aetna insurance, and if you don't have that insurance they take out of pocket payments. The value of each visit is great for the quality of care and service you receive. I was evaluated and had my blood pressure taken, then got 10s unit placed on my back with a heating pad. They set a timer so if it gets busy they don't forget about you. After I was through with that I had ice placements under my knees and had a lovely give or take 5 minute massage with a hand massage machine that chiropractors use. The chiropractor that was taking care of me today was Eric. I felt comfortable with his adjustments, he was Professional, and was very informative. I have always had a tough time finding a good chiropractor to adjust me. It's been awhile since my last adjustment so I am Pretty tight but he was able to get everything moving. After my car accident my attorney referred me to this chiropractic office. My first visit was great…read moreand the lady was very gentle. She adjusted me but only with the metal piece. No cracking of bones. However, on the second visit, the chiropractor, Dr. Kim, was TERRIBLE. He walked in quickly, no real hello, scanned over my chart in the computer and then went straight to adjusting me. He didnt seem to know that I was in a car accident just 4 days before that with a mild concussion and neck and back pain. He also didn't seem to care at all. Before he came into the room, the technician had me to a neuro exam. I had to follow a dot on the screen in circles and different directions showing the movement I had in my neck. I was barely able to complete the exam and I know I failed because my neck was so tight and in so much pain that I couldn't follow the dot. Then when the doctor came in and started treating me, he stood behind me and felt my back which was sore to the touch. He didn't care. He just pressed to then use the metal manual adjuster thing. After he did my back he twisted my neck to both sides quickly and then used the metal thing on my neck. It hurt so bad because I couldn't follow barely move my neck to begin with and him forcing it to turn to both ways further than I was able to tilt my own head was SO painful. I sat for a second because it then made my head start pounding as I was still having a lot of head pressure from the concussion. When I left, I told my attorney but I pulled into the gas station next door and sat in the car for 45 minutes before even getting out to pump gas Elbe sure my pain levels were through the roof. When I got to the chiropractor, I was already in pain. This just escalated it. I was then sent by my attorney to their other location for my next visit as I refused to be seen by him again. On my first visit at the new location, Dr. Heath didn't even adjust me. He said my tendons were still not healed enough to be adjusted with any kind of speed. I told him about my prior experience with Dr. Kim at their other location and he was EXTREMELY shocked and disappointed. He stated that that was definitely not ok and could make my situation worse. Since my adjustment by Dr. Kim, my neck has been getting worse (whereas I was starting to see slow, small bits of improvement) and headaches don't seem to be lightening up.
