The included continental breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Each morning we were treated to a generous selection that included fried eggs, scrambled eggs, omelettes, sausage, and the opportunity to make our own waffles. Additional options featured oatmeal, fresh bread, English muffins, and a variety of condiments. The beverage selection was equally impressive, offering regular, low-fat, non-fat, and chocolate milk, along with regular coffee, decaf coffee, and various teas. Overall, our experience at the Marriott in Buckeye was outstanding in every respect. We will definitely choose to stay here again on future visits to the area.

It kept our holiday simple and stress free, and it also works great for travelers leaving Phoenix or arriving and needing a quick recharge before the next leg of their trip. The location is extremely convenient. The hotel sits just seconds from I-10, and there are plenty of services within easy walking distance. You will find a gas station, Starbucks, Barro's Pizza, and other quick options nearby. A brand new shopping center is being built across the street and will open soon. If you prefer a more upscale shopping and dining experience, Verrado Town Square is only a few miles away. The hotel itself is brand new and well designed. The rooms are comfortable and the public areas are modern and clean. We enjoyed good views from our room and there was plenty of parking. Housekeeping kept everything tidy during our stay. There is a small bar next to the lobby that was open on Christmas night, which was a nice surprise and made the holiday feel a little more festive. This location serves many needs. It is ideal for families visiting relatives, business travelers passing through, and anyone who wants easy access to the freeway. I first want to acknowledge the parking since I know the valet cost is a an issue. I did self parking at the Brickyard Parking Garage for $16 for 24 hours which was a 3 minute walk across a side street and down a short flight of stairs. I found it super convenient and would recommend it to anyone looking to skip valet. The lobby was nice, very clean and open with high ceilings and a comfortable sitting area. Austin got me checked in quickly and hooked up with their welcome package that included two free margaritas at the rooftop bar Skysill, two free cups of coffee or tea at their coffee shop and two free smoothies from Terra their restaurant on the 1st floor. I stayed in one of their Executive Suites With Mountain View and when I say the room took my breath away, I actually gasped!! It was more than I could hope for with beautiful views overlooking Tempe and Phoenix in both the living room and bedroom, a big comfy bed, a nice sized table to get work done at and a beautiful bathroom complete with a spacious shower and luxurious soaking tub! The room also came with bathrobes, complementary water bottles in the mini fridge, wine glasses and a corkscrew. I really loved being able to relax knowing everything was thought out! The rooftop bar and pool was beautiful, again with breathtaking views. The welcome margarita was good and strong but the Hibiscus Paloma was a show stopper! I also really enjoyed the rooftop patio the next morning when I took my laptop up to enjoy the sunrise over the city while getting my work day started. My morning was a breeze, enjoying beautiful views, my complimentary tea and smoothie but the standout of my stay was Aneesa at concierge. I had a last minute schedule change for a meeting that left me stressed for time to checkout and make my meeting but Aneesa saved the day when, without hesitation, she moved my checkout time back so I could complete my Teams call in the privacy of my room and not feel rushed to leave. I only ended up needing 30 extra minutes but I can't thank her enough for giving me that extra hour! It's people like her who keep me coming back somewhere and I'm happy to say I've already recommended this hotel to a few friends and work colleagues. A couple places I feel the hotel may have room for improvement on is stocking additional amenities for the bath like epsom salts or bubble bath and the windows of my room could have been cleaner but those little things really didn't bother me much at all. Honestly, I just walked across the street to the 24hr CVS and bought some bubble bath after my drinks and enjoyed a nice relaxing soak, it was perfect! Every staff member we encountered, even just in passing, was friendly and polite, which really added to the overall experience. One huge bonus for me was having Better Buzz Coffee literally outside the front door in the parking lot. The hotel coffee, unfortunately, was more like coffee-colored water, very weak. But having a great coffee option just steps away made up for it. Check-in was smooth, but I was disappointed not to receive the top floor room I had requested when I made my reservation over a month ago. It's frustrating when notes on a reservation aren't reviewed, and now we're stuck with what sounds like a herd of elephants above us. I chose not to ask for a room change or have the front desk intervene, but I did deduct one star for this preventable issue. This establishment is not well soundproofed. That said, our room is spotless. The hotel is new, and everything feels fresh and clean. The beds are super comfortable, and the bathroom is perfect, modern and functional. The complimentary breakfast is fairly standard, but the young man working the area was fantastic, attentive and organized. I enjoyed my oatmeal and waffle! The gym and pool area are 5-star quality. Across the street is the Tempe Marketplace, where you can find anything you might need during your stay. There's also a bar and restaurant in the lobby, which is perfect for meeting up with other guests or grabbing a quick cocktail without going far. My friends enjoy happy hour prices at Bar Louie right across from the entrance to the area arena and get the $15 of their bill. I prefer to simply park slightly farther out by the Outlets and walk. I also find it saves time leaving after the concert also. The closer $15 parking lots do not have workers after the concert helping to make the traffic flow efficiently. It took over 20 minutes for them to get out of the lot nearest the stadium.

And that says a lot coming from someone who travels all over the U.S. on a regular basis. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone!
