Pool is a nice size. Parking is plentiful, plenty of amenities nearby. Unfortunately, some guests don't supervise their kids and the hotel staff is overwhelmed with a kids baseball team staying here this weekend. Trundle bed is a fun experience. Enjoyed the microwave and fridge. Breakfast plentiful, staff responsive, hotel well maintained. We would return if we were in the area. read more

Stay elsewhere! The hallway and our room had an awful, dank like stench. The pool was green with algae and there is no shade. Most importantly, however, the service at the front desk is atrocious. Was flat out told they did not care about my Bonvoy status. So much for being a Marriott person. I will prioritize non-Marriot properties now. read more

Being a frequent business traveler, I've stayed at this location a few times. During a recent business trip, my plans unexpectedly changed and I called the hotel to see if anything could be done about canceling my reservation without penalty given the circumstances. After I was told this wasn't an option, I said no problem I'll see you tonight. Without my approval, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged me the night stay. I've left multiple messages with the manger requesting an explanation and haven't received a call back in two weeks. I fully understand the cancellation policy however feel a return call isn't too much to ask for. Rooms are fine but I'll be staying somewhere else from now on. read more

Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was easy as was access to the fwy and tons of food options around. The room was clean and has both a microwave and refrigerator. They also have a complimentary breakfast, that had some hot stuff! I was here for work and will stay here again if I'm back in the area. read more

So I travel a ton for work and stay at a lot of Marriott's. So much so I hit the top tier of the rewards program every year. This Springhill has a nice staff and the hotel is clean. The breakfast is a little lacking compared to others in Springhill group and more so with some of the other Marriott options. They do have a bar which is rare for the Springhill's. As for the room I like the design and the bathroom. I'm in a single King suite room. Room felt clean when I walked in and has a pleasant smell. I'm guessing there is some hidden potpourri or similar in there. Great place to stay lots of options around for food and shopping. read more

Very new hotel in Goodyear, Az. We stayed for 3 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The highlight for me was the breakfast (included in stay). There are a lot of choices, including Oatmeal with toppings ( brown sugar, cranberries and nuts), bagels and cream cheese, yogurt, fruit, and a waffle station with toppings. Christine, the employee who is responsible for the Breakfast did a great job with making sure everything was well stocked and clean. The hotel lobby is spacious and nicely decorated. There is a large gym and outdoor pool. The rooms themselves were quite large with a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. We would stay at this hotel again in the future. read more

At the last minute, my husband and I decided to drive to Phoenix for the NCAA Men's Championship Basketball game. We chose this hotel as it is well located and got pretty good reviews online. So glad we did! There is plenty of parking, the entire property seems to be spotlessly clean, staff was so friendly, prices were right and our room was just what we needed. Solid hotel near a work location. Have been here 3 times and each was decent. Something happens either to the room or services each time, so not perfect but not bad. Staff extremely helpful and room staff equally as professional. Recommend rooms facing north to avoid traffic noise. Otherwise, still decent sound proofing in rooms from the road noise. Construction happening around hotel parking lot, so be cautious of drivers not paying attention. read more

This is a really nice new little hotel. We didn't spend the night here, however my Dad and his wife stayed here when they came into town from Rhode Island to visit. We spent quite a bit of time here hanging out in the lobby and at the pool. This hotel is minimalistic and clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. My Dad's room was clean. Also, the location of this hotel is very convenient to getting on the 10. I would highly recommend this place to other friends and relatives looking to stay near us. read more

Best 3 star hotel from state to state! I am sure it helps to stay in a newly built one which was an excellent choice in Goodyear AZ and Terrell TX. Both stays over my summer travels were awesome. Rooms were clean and updated, beds were comfortable, lobby was bright and well decorated. The staff was also friendly. All in all there were no negatives. I will look for a SpringHill Suites wherever I travel in the states. read more

I stay at Marriott's every week. This property is so poorly run. I talked to the manager and told him that the alarm went off in the room at 4:00 AM. I couldn't go back to sleep. I told him I know your employees work hard but they might want to remember to reset the alarms. He said we all make mistakes. He did give me points as an I'm sorry but he did serve me attitude with it. Next time staying here. I have three other people staying at this hotel because I directed them and myself. I asked for a new room because the traffic noise was horrible. Remember I'm a Marriott person who stays weekly all over. I was told they were sold out and couldn't switch rooms. I had three other people that came in after me and not one was on the side of loud traffic noise. Also the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. I asked for a new room away from the traffic for the second night. I'm in it after getting in from working from 8 to 8. The traffic noise is a bit better but I can certainly hear it. Last time I'll stay here. Horrible customer service! Oh, I'm also able to hear what the guy next to me is saying on his phone call. Augh! read more

This place was very, very nice! The room was clean and spacious and had a mirco and little refrigerator. I was shock to learn they even offered complimentary breakfast that included a make-your-own waffle. I have never seen something like that so I gave it a tried and made my own waffle and for being a first timer, my waffle came out hot, fluffy and just right. I even liked the fact they had turkey sausage ! The staff was friendly, shout out to the lady who managed the breakfast, thank you for your hard work. Parking was great and plenty. The location was great, right off the freeway and so many near by places to get a meal. I really liked the QT, way better then 7-11's I am used to being from CA. This was my first time visiting AZ, came here for a graduation celebration and I can honestly say, I will be back and will be booking this place again. I was really, really pleased with the service, the room, parking and the pool! Overall, it was a very lovely and clean hotel and I hope it stays that way for a long time. read more

I had to give one star just to do a review. I arrived on Monday and I stood their housekeeping schedule, either nothing or every other day. I picked every other day. Wednesday rolled around no housekeeping. Went to the front desk and they apologized and said ok we will do it on Thursday. Thursday came no housekeep. Went to the front desk and asked what was going on and they said they will have it done on Friday. I told them I was leaving on Saturday and they didn't care in the least. So I did get housekeeping on Friday after four nights. I told the front desk that I will never stay here again. So much for being a Gold Elite Member. read more

Marriott Hotels are always our favorite hotel to stay at when we travel, but this one was beautiful !! The lobby smelled so fresh and clean and the Main Counter was made of a Stunning Granite Material. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the Front Desk Associate, Genie. She is a Perfect Gem at this hotel, so personable and willing to help you with anything you might need ! We were given the key cards to our room immediately upon checking in and asked if there was anything else we might need, coffee, water ?? Our room was perfect, extremely comfy King Size Bed, coffee maker, fridge, work desk, all the amenities you might need while traveling. We had a lovely evening since there were so many great restaurants nearby. The next morning we were assisted by Christine at the Breakfast Bar, again another personable employee wanting to help us with whatever we needed. Checking out the next morning we met Destiny, another friendly young woman at the front desk and Robert, a cordial smiling maintenance man. All of these employees are a real asset to this new hotel, there wasn't one person who was not willing to go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Boe, the General Manager, was at the front desk when my husband and I were leaving and we made sure to let him know how satisfied we were with our choice of hotels to stay at !! Stayed here and was not impressed. Garbage cans in rooms had garbage in it from previous people. Soaps in showers were not filled. Paying these prices I expect the rooms to be clean and stocked. They need to do a better job and taking care of rooms before throwing the next customers in them read more

The hotel is newer and is a nice and clean property. The free breakfast buffet is very lacking and lower quality with not much selection. One issue is that when I checked in (May 2023) they gave me a letter explaining limited services throughout the hotel including housekeeping. The front desk clerk also spoke to it. Sorry but I have for past 9 months stayed 120+ nights in hotels and this is the first hotel to still be saying they have reduced services due to COVID. We are past that as a society and this hotel has to be honest with its guests - you are either doing this to save costs or you do not have enough workers. Drop the whole COVID reason. If it were valid COVID, why are you allowing everything to be packed (hotel, lobby, bar, elevators), no employees I saw with masks. Basically, do not insult the guests with a false reason. read more
