I just want to change my star rating to one, because now they took away free WiFi and they kept the prices the same for the stay. Also, they really need to cut trees back. We can't open up our awnings

Great, clean, safe place to stay! Located on Nellis AFB, it's massive--well provisioned, well kept, and well staffed. Of note, it's not on the main side of base, so the commissary, gym, BX, and Nellis Club are all across Las Vegas Blvd.

Rainbow at the Desert Eagle RV Park! We struck gold here ;D

Good place to stop over when near Las Vegas. Laundry was cheap, campground and bathrooms were clean. Helpful staff.

Beforehand, you might want to do some research and watch current videos on IG, TikTok, or YouTube so you know what to expect. We finally made it here on SATURDAY, JUNE 6TH to escape the Vegas heat. It's an hour drive from Las Vegas, so we left at 8:15 am. We arrived at 9:15 am to a line of other cars thinking the same thing...we were already about 20 cars deep. The park opens at 10am to 6pm and it's $30/person for adults. There are about 50 parking spots inside that the workers will direct you where to park, and there are complimentary wagons to load up your belongings to bring to your picnic spot. Top priority for everyone is to cool off in the 100-foot 80 degree river, and snag a great picnic spot. Most prime picnic spots are along the river and come covered and fully equipped with a grill, tablle, chairs, and a garbage can. Restrooms are clean, and there's also a shower as well. For us, swim time in the river was OUR priority, so we packed lightly(cooler, chairs, towels, bluetooth speaker, and water flasks. We brought snacks, ice cream, and poke for lunch. Went for our first swim at about 10:30am Had a Poke Bowl lunch at about 11:15am while lots of people were still slaving away in the heat over a hot grill trying to get lunch cooked for their families. Went for a second swim at Noon. Not too many people swimming as lots of people were still eating. By the time 1-1:30pm rolled around, the river was a madhouse with all kinds of music blasting, and people just having a great time. We decided to call it a day and packed up our belongings then headed back to Vegas. A fun day was had, and yes, we plan to return. Now you know before you go!

Definitely worth the day trip! Another hidden gem only 1 hour away from Las Vegas off the beaten…read morepath. We enjoyed the scenic beauty, peaceful downtime, soothing sound of flowing water, a great spot for a quick getaway! The water is its best feature, at a pleasant temperature all year round it's a great time to swim in the river. They have lots of shaded picnic tables and BBQ grills, flush toilet and shower. We're coming back! Hopefully they keep this place peaceful and enjoyable for relaxing and quality time. It would be best to put back the NO LOUD NOISE/MUSIC Rule.
