Little Snitch is located in The Citadel plaza. I visited this cute restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. It's very pink in this restaurant! Faux pink flowers decorate the walls. It has an English feel about it. Staff are very nice and welcoming. I decided to try one of their homemade blueberry muffins. The muffin had a streusel top. The inside was soft, moist and full of blueberries. We might have a new contender for best muffin around. Guess I will have to try it again to determine the winner. LOL! I helped myself to one of the containers of lemon water. Tap water is also available. I sat in the nice plaza full of pomegranate trees. It was a bit warm as the fan missed where I sat. I LOVE this place! The inside is super cute with flowers everywhere and tons of pink. The outside is lovely and is pretty tolerable even on the hottest days with plenty of shade and cool air blasting. You walk up and order, get a number, grab a table, and they bring you everything. The coffee drinks are amazing. The lavender honey latte, the cookie butter cold brew, and the red velvet latte are downright addicting. The veggie wrap is awesome, as are the scones with brie. The butternut squash omelet is also a favorite. I don't know if they make their sourdough bread there, but I've never had better. My neighbors have been telling me about this place for an awhile. I checked the menu and there were very , very limited gluten free options ( basically salads) but I love trying out new coffee places. I would definitely give this place 5 stars for ambience. It totally reminds me of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants. The attention to detail was on point. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and asked if the matcha was gluten free and the server seemed a little annoyed and handed me the bag of matcha. I could not tell from the bag if it was or not but I ordered it anyways. I was really hungry but didn't want a salad at 8am. My latte came out in a paper cup and tasted ok. Likely the cutest brunch spot in all of Scottsdale! Our local friend made it a point for us to come here and man was she spot on! Their space has so many layers to it, inside and out. The service was young bright and attentive! Now while we did go on a Sunday it was very very busy, and there was a line to get in, but it moved smoothly and in no time we had our table. They also sell many baked goods at the front desk that we had to snag some before sitting! We chose to sit outside in this very cute outdoor area, plenty of shade and very nice for conversation. You're not allowed to sit at a table until you've ordered, so you have to quickly look at the menu, order, and then find a table. If you sit before ordering, they will ask you to get up. Overall a delicious and positive experience! It took some getting used to their format, a very long line and then ordering at the counter. They we're trying to make the line move faster so someone came to ring us up before we got to the register which threw us a bit because we weren't ready, and he didn't quite get all of the details of our order right, but it all worked out in the end. From the selection of pastries, to the unique and delicious coffee offerings, this fully pink, transformative cafe is the place to be any morning of the week. You truly enter a pink heaven. Such a delicious homemade poptart! They get the frosting and the flaky crust so right. Got the blueberry and cherry and both were a tad too sweet, but so are pop tarts. The cinnamon bun was delicious. The butternut squash soup was okay, too thick and a little Gerber baby food like. I want to say that I hate giving up such an awesome little diamond in the rough (although the area is very nice) Hidden away is a quaint and well styled little bakery/coffee shop. The walkways are lined with their striped canopies. All around a little waterscape. As you walk in, all of their pastries are set out on display and there's a cool little bar that sits off in the corner. The food was good, not crazy and the coffee was good but nothing to write home about. Overall it was a great experience and definitely a place for a breakfast date.
