Plus, you've got self-care spots like salons and waxing services, which makes it feel like a one-stop lifestyle hub. We spent time just walking around and taking it all in, and it honestly felt like a whole experience. With more places still coming in, this is definitely shaping up to be the it destination. Stalls had no toilet paper or papers towels. They did have children seats available in the stalls and very nice changing tables for infants so that's a plus, they just weren't very clean. The splash pad/play area is overall not well maintained and pretty disappointing. Turf is uneven, bars are loose on the train ride on toy, splash pad water pressure is practically nonexistent - a dad had to show us a trick to stand on one of the "fountains" so the other fountain comes up higher and makes a big enough stream of water for your child to actually splash in... Not sure if that seating area with fans/misters is park west responsibility or a businesses but the area was not very clean, tables, benches and chairs could use a good pressure washing - lots of bird poop so be careful where you sit or set down your items. Overall the area is free to visit but don't expect a great experience but it will definitely get you and the kids out of the house.

It reminds me a lot of Chandler Fashion, which is a good comparison. Since selling our house and getting an apartment nearby, this has become one of our shopping destinations, if only to come for some good deli at Chompie's. LOL They have Dillards and Macy's as the two anchors, along with a Penny's (huh?) and sporting goods retailer Dick's. They also have a pretty large movie theatre in AMC and bowling at RoundOne. Besides Chompie's, on the food court side they have Chipotle, Fired Pies, Johnny Rockets, Sizzle K-BBQ, Little Tokyo, Boba, Panda Express, Panera's and a dozen or so more options. Sooooo? They also have vendors located around the outskirts of the outlet mall where you can purchase food, desserts, drinks, and other snacks, which is a nice added option while shopping. One thing we do not enjoy is how congested the outlet can become, especially during weekends or when events are taking place in the parking lot. This past Sunday, there was a circus set up in the parking lot, which was very unusual for us to see since circuses are typically held in larger open spaces or fields. In addition, there is construction happening in certain parts of the parking area, making parking spaces tighter and traffic more difficult to navigate. Despite the parking challenges, once we found a spot, we were able to shop around comfortably for the items we were looking for and leave accordingly. The outlet offers a wide variety of shops and is conveniently located right across from the Westgate Entertainment District, making it easy to spend the day enjoying the area.

I also sometimes meet up with friends or family or even head there on my own. There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do; however, some of my favorite stores and restaurants have closed and been replaced over the years. It also happens to be where my wife and I had our first date! The Biltmore Fashion Park is known for some great restaurants. While there are some upscale and casual restaurants there, my favorites include Seasons 52 or True Food for a good meal and Frost a Gelato Shoppe for dessert. I really enjoy having several Fox restaurants at the Biltmore. There are also many other restaurants in the area. Several of the restaurants have great happy hours, too. I miss the Crepe Club though several other restaurants have opened since then. There are also plenty of shops from upscale shops to more casual ones like Lululemon and Sakes 5th Avenue. There are fancy clothing stores that my wife may enjoy though I typically enjoy the nice courtyard or seating outside some of the stores while she shops. Then, we grab a bite somewhere together. I miss the Apple Store and Sharper Image but look forward to what is opened next. There are also experiences from the Sip & Stroll (where you can enjoy a beverage from one of six restaurants and then walk around), meet-up with the Phoenix Run Club, the Art Walk, the Swiftie Liftie Outdoor Workout Class, or one of a number of galas or special events. Went up from San Tan Valley for a well publicized "Yappy Hour" apparently held monthly in the mall…read morecourtyard. What fun even though it was 90 minute drive for me. Decent parking and I found a close handicapped space for the van. Event started promptly at 5:30. A few vendors including our very own Yelp Elite Event spot in Gilbert -Pixie sticks. They had a nice boutique there with an assortment of their items for sale. Joining them with booths were PetSmart (pup cups), a couple dog rescue orgs, and a Halloween photographer. There was also great music and really good cash bar making some excellent cocktails. It was a free event. The cocktails were $9 apiece... decent value. Topped it off with dinner at ZinBurger before I left. There's a few great restaurants up there, so will probably back despite the long drive.
