Yes! It's so nice having a Nordstrom Rack in Queen Creek! Just yesterday I ran in to look for a quick gift for my granddaughter and I ended up buying several dresses, a blouse, and a few items I had been looking for for a while at other department stores! What surprised me was not only the quality of the clothes but the prices was surprisingly low compared the name brands and the quality of the items! Fan of Nordstrom's but not this location. This store has some service issues that don't meet what the brand is known for. Recently had the most unsettling experience that I addressed to a manger who is going to handle it. I can say this store is well stocked especially with shoes in all sizes. Great variety of clothing and accessories. This is a busy shopping area which draws heavy traffic causing some long lines. If you are in a hurry or want great service skip this location. read more

Every so often, I would stop in here..I was there yesterday and I have to say the women's restroom stunk I mean it was disgusting. It stunk so bad. It was filthy. I didn't find anything to buy & some of the prices on the clearance jewelry section seemed a little expensive for clearance. I don't believe I'll come back here. I think some of the brands they actually have...they buy specifically for Nordstrom rack. A lot of the items from the Nordstrom store appear on the racks occasionally. read more

Some good deals I'm not a regular at Nordstorm Rack, but when I do go, I usually find lots of great deals- especially on footwear and handbags. Nordstrom Rack can be a great place if you're looking for some high-quality clothing or items at lower prices. However, it can be hit or miss. I shop this store whenever I need business attire. It is out my my way to shop here but I appreciate the store services. I purchased a pair of shoes that unfortunately were too big and came back to return them 34 days later. It was the soonest I could come back and the manager refused to make the return because I was 4 days after their "policy." I understand policies are made to prevent abuses by customers, however GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE means policies are a guideline, not a law to be obeyed. I always used to go here to get shoes. They always had name brands at a significant discount. Lately I have found that isn't the case. Went with my husband because both of us were in need of new Reef flip flops. Well, no flip flops that we wanted. I wanted some new white Converse lows. They had them, but they were $60. What? That's not a savings. I can get them cheaper at kohl's on sale. And I recently bought a pair of Tom's at Ross. Paid $18.99. Nordstrom had exactly the same pair of shoes for $39.99. More than double the price. Two stars because the kids section is still a bargain. But pass on the adults and do yourself a favor. Buy at Macy's or Kohl's, especially if you have discount coupons, you will save so much more. read more

Massively expensive items for a tad less massively expensive items. Great stuff but I usually can not afford anything and Phoenix is way too causal for most of these items. I am not a 700 dollar dress type of gal! However with that said, you can find deals and sadly they gave me a credit card. Lol, Watch out. I love Democracy Jeans so I will go here to see if I can find them. I cannot wear others so i agree to myself to pay the higher price. It is also much fun looking at the nice items. My friend says this is the place to score great deals on shoes if you can. They also have nice beauty supplies. I bought three very lovely black evening dresses here for cocktail events and I love all three. They were not cheap but not too bad either. I feel they were a good deal. So my advice is to search the sales racks and try to get an additional off coupon if you are a points credit card patron. Than you can find fantastic deals on high ticket, brand name items. Today my friend and I were shopping for blouses. We went to the dressing room and the lady had us go to the left side (normally the guys side). We just assumed they switched it up, to our surprise they have apparently made the dressing rooms co-ed. This was a shock to us both, hearing a man talk right out side the room your trying clothes on.....I asked the cashier and she had no idea this was happening. I came into this store last week, made a purchase and they let me know my card was expired, ones probably on the way and they looked up my card info and i was able to make a purchase. This morning I called Nordstrom card services to have another card mailed to me, and to make sure i would be able to make another purchase i store. The customer service employee told me to let the cashier know they will not be able to do a card lookup i store they will have to call. Today I went to the counter with a pair of shoes, and told the employee just that, she was so incredibly rude she needed the employee next to her to co-sign the fact I was wrong she was able to do her job without instruction from me, the second employee comes to look at be computer screen as well as look me up and down as if I didn't have the money, or was using someone else's card, it was so uncomfortable and uncalled for, I couldn't believe I was being made to feel this way. Then a third employee overhears, and chooses to come over as well, now I've given them my name, last four of my social, zipcode, there's a line and now THREE employees are focused on ONE transaction when it could have been avoided if the employee was just kind enjoy to listen to her BLACK PATRON, it's so disheartening to be racial profiled and treated as if my money isn't green enough. I just didn't have my new card for god sakes! Vanessa finally made a call in, was told exactly what I told her, and no one issued an an apology, Or a sorry for the inconvenience, or even acknowledged that As a human being it's not okay to treat people that way. Employees are nice. Came here with my husband and 12 month old. There was a young black man harassing the customers asking to donate towards his "music" we said no but he continued to keep going on about it. We said no again he got aggressive towards my husband and called him the "R" word. He reeked of weed. He walked off cursing away. He proceeded to harass another customer then he got kicked out by security, thank god! We hardly come here but that was very unpleasant you have this man walking around harassing customers and calling them names. I have shopped here for years (over 15) and usually have a great experience. Recently I purchased two pairs of pants that unfortunately did not fit me, tried to return with receipt, tags, and bag for store credit and was told no. Their online policy states 30 days cash back and beyond 30-days they will work with costumer situationally. They have now stated the will not except anything after 30-days. We were in tonight and saw the display of Calvin Klein dress shirts on the $20 and under. We picked a couple of great shirts. When we checked out they rang up at $32. We mentioned the display that we picked them up from. The cashier was so sweet and said "let me see what I can do." She explained what happened to the manager. The manager said "well how do we know they didn't just move them to that display?" How insulting! I told them there's a whole display specifically on on the $20 & under. The manager said that Chris from men's wear must have been moving them from that display to another. I told her that on the contrary he had been folding them up and placing them there. She just kept explaining that that was no fault of hers and that we should have paid closer attention to the price tag. We totally would have been fine had the manager would have just sincerely apologized and thoughtfully explained that she wasn't able to honor the price- but sincere and thoughtful she was NOT. read more

Complete joke! They wouldn't service me(all I was doing was paying my bill) because I was wearing a face shield. It wasn't stated anywhere visible that face shields weren't allowed. The young lady behind the counter told me she wouldn't take my money without a "mask" on. I asked her to show me where it says I can't wear this. She walked out from behind her plexiglass and goes to a table that is right when you walk in. Flips around a 8x10 piece of paper saying the CDC says so. Really????? I've shopped EVERYWHERE wearing a face shield. Many employees in said stores are wearing them. Meanwhile the lady who walked up to cash out had her mask pulled down under her mouth. The store is pretty empty not many options. I found what I was looking for. However my experience went down hill when I got the register to use my gift card. I paid the remaining balance and it showed in the keypad it went thru but the cashier wanted me to insert my card again to charge me again. I pulled up my transaction to show it had gone thru on my end and the key pad said transaction completed. The manager came over and said I was good to go without a receipt. I'm going to be that person and say I wont come back or at least not with that cashier. Guess they only want high end clients who can't spend hundreds of dollars. read more

We had to pick up an order and I had my 22 month old with me. He touched and moved the debit card machine and the cashier got upset. She pulled it all the way back, she said " those are brand new" first of all he wasn't doing harm. He's a curious toddler that was touching a machine! Those machines get touched and moved all day! Located in the old Linen's & Things building (behind the Five & Dime Diner), had to check it out...meh! Parking was getting full, inside the store was kinda dark like a cave, the check-out line looked like it was moving quickly, racks were still tidy, restroom was clean (and new!)... They have LOTS of shoes, and VERY small areas of mens, missy, kids, and some accessories. There are no household goods here. FITTING ROOMS: They don't just give you a plastic number sending you back to oblivion, the gal at the fitting room walks you to the fitting room, like a hostess at a restaurant - this caused a line of impatient shoppers, even though there were plenty of fitting rooms available. They do offer alteration service here too - you can see the busy Seamstress near the fitting room area. PRICES: I've bought things at Macy's & Dillard's for way less. Nordstrom Rack reminds me of an overpriced dimly-lit TJ Maxx. read more

You gotta love Nordstom's Rack! Great selection of high end cloths and shoes and, usually, about half price. AND you still get to enjoy the wonderful Nordstrom's return policy so you never have to worry about returning ANYTHING for any reason. For instance... I bought a pair of very nice Hugo Boss black loafers last week. I wore them for a full day and got a blister (I'm used to Bruno Magli or Too Boots). Remember these are leather soled and hard leather upper shoes, so when you wear them you can certainly tell. Not a peek. Returned them with a smile. Nordies... I'm smitten. read more

First they don't carry any tall sizes. Americans are getting taller - proven fact. Please carry tall sizes. I bought two Calvin Klein pillows today and when I got home and removed them from the zippered case, I noticed Both pillows have been 'marked' in some attempt to not allow them to be returned or something. The Bar code on the 'Do not remove tag" has a black marker line through the bar code on both pillows. The Calvin Klein tags on the pillows have been cut through (double sided) to 'mark' them that they were sold at Nordstrom Rack vs. Nordstrom, I guess. This makes NO sense to me .... Even though I bought them at the "rack' vs the full service store, you SHOULD NOT have defaced the pillows and especially not the logo. When I wash them, I am sure the tags are now going to fray and unravel. Thanks Nordstrom ........ Thanks. Ironically the package lists the now defaced label as a selling point : "Signature Linen Label" the package boasts. This place can be highly frustrating at times, because it often gets too crowded. However, if you come here first thing when it opens, then it's not so bad. I'm glad to finally have a Nordstrom Rack on this side of town, because I hated having to drive all the way to Scottsdale Road to get to the next closest location. To shop here, you have to be really in the mood to shop and filter through things, because although there is some organization, there are still mixed clusters of similar things on random racks. If you really look hard, you can find some "gems" though. My intent of going shopping today was to find a mother's day gift for my mother-in-law. I wasn't even planning on going to the accessory section, and hidden among the bag racks was a Kate Spade tote. I looked online and the tote was still selling for $165+. However, this store was selling it for less than half that price. Score! It's always hard for me to find unique things and clothes, but sometimes, I'll find those unique items here. When I'm at the regular Nordstroms, I find alot of things I like, but I just don't feel that some items are worth the money, but IF they somehow make it to "the Rack" and IF they have reduced to a more reasonable price, then sometimes, there are things that can be found and worth buying here. Great store! It was closing time and I just needed to pick up one item. The manager was so nice and let me in to grab what I needed. He went an extra step to help out a customer when it would have been easier just to say "Sorry, we are closed" and shut the door. Even though it was after hours, ALL of the staff were in a good mood and very friendly. Also, the store is clean and well put together. Lots of merchandise. Good location in the Arrowhead area with tons of other shopping very close. From the phone rep to the manager to the cashier all of the staff is super friendly and helpful. This has been my go-to store for years now but I'm am losing hope for it...the service has gotten so bad that I can't believe it's part of the Nordstrom brand (speaking of which, I just got off the phone with Nordstrom customer service regarding an online order and the service was impeccable - so maybe it's just The Rack division?). In fairness I have spoken with the manager at this location after a really bad experience over a year ago and she was lovely and very eager to help. Unfortunately my last couple of visits were dismal (ex - recently - excuse me, can you please help me find the match to this shoe? Um, if you don't see it then I don't know where it is...) Love this place! I've waiting years for a NR to appear on this side of town and now my dreams have become reality! The hubs and I ran out yesterday to get him a few things he was really needing. The overall appearance of the store was very clean and organized. Everyone was very helpful and courteous--down to the cashier at checkout. I didn't get a chance to look past the men's clothing/shoe department but will take some time to do that at some point. I will say I was very impressed with this NR as it wasn't a disasterous mess with clothes strewn everywhere like most of them are. Hopefully that is because the Manager of this store takes pride in the establishment and not just because it was a new store. We left spending just under $200 for a couple large bags of clothes so we felt like we got a good deal. read more
