In addition, I feel he truly cares and wants to see me get better so I can return to my life with my children with the best outcome I can have. It's scary moving to a new area, especially when you have anxiety pertaining to the medical field so I am very grateful to be treated like a person and not a number and also not feel judged for being nervous about complications from surgery. This place is amazing! To start the office staff here is absolutely top notch. They answer the phone and know you by name even though they are pretty busy. They are cheerful and on top of whatever you need so fast it is just a pleasant relief. Billing has never been an issue here like at other places I've been. Check in is always fast and effortless, I never have to wait very long to be called nor wait for the doctor once called very long. Which is great because I can't sit in chairs or stand very long with my back condition. I was bedridden for 14 months before I found this place. That was with a different pain management doctor I had been seeing for 3 years. My health was continuously declining while seeing them and I knew I had to do something or it was only going to get worse. Which is the whole reason I switched to Nevada Pain Care. Dr. Gephardt and Dr. Antflick really care about your quality of life, and in helping you get better. Dr. Antflick specifically has been taking care of all my medications and procedures including epidurals, medial branch blocks and ablations. I have had these same procedures performed by the doctor I previously mentioned above, and he was terrible, so there is a difference in the outcome based on the talent of the person performing them and Dr. Antflick has absolutely surprised and impressed me. My insurance doesn't cover the procedures I need in the area of my back I injured so I'm going to pay cash to have that done here. That's how good this place is, and how much I trust Dr. Anflicks talents. After these next few cash procedures, I'll be as close to normal as I've been in over 7 years! I switched here about 7 months ago and I am no longer bedridden! I've had almost a procedure a moth in that time, but it's all been well worth it. I feel so much better, have had way less downtime for the recovery part of the procedure, and the effects have been much longer lasting. They are also great about medications, and making it a point that I have what I need for the different aspects of my pain management. It's so nice I don't really have words, but if you have ever had to fight to get your medications just know you don't have to do that here. they aren't going to prescribe you 200 oxy's a month but they will get you what you need to get by, and are willing to work with you once you've been established. If you care about your health and actually getting better come here. I wish I would have found this place right after my accident and came here 5 years ago. I was first hurt 7 years prior and had two surgeries to repair that damage. Then 5 years ago I was in a bad accident that really messed up the thoracic are of my back. I think if I had found this place years ago my health wouldn't have declined so far, and I would be doing even. Better than I am now. So if you're hurt and are seeing doctors that keep telling you that there is nothing more they can do for you, call Nevada Pain Care and see what actual experts have to say. Nevada Pain Care RUINED MY LIFE. My Nero surgeon Dr. Khavkin referred me. I received trigger injections from Dale Delaney, he administered the injections subcutaneously under the skin, Instead of into the Muscle, leaving me with Atrophy. Destroying the Muscle tissue leaving me with sunken in cavities on my neck and back. Then I received an Epidural injection in C4 and the next day I woke up Sick as a dog, and put me in the E.R. After consulting with Endocrinologist I found out Nevada Pain Care Overdosed me on STEROIDS. My ADRENAL GLANDS COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. Leaving me Bed ridden for almost a YEAR, I lost 70 lbs and was close to death. I lost Muscle Mass to the point where my skin was hanging off my bones.My blood pressure would also drop to dangerous levels. I am lucky to be alive. Of course having things like rheumatoid arthritis and peripheral neuropathy are going to get me sent here, as maintaining my level of pain sometimes requires true professional help. If you utilize this place as it's supposed to be used you'll definitely find relief and help from a huge number of pains, ailments and nuisances that might bother you. Working behind the desks are a number of very professional and pleasant ladies, all I believe are very good at their jobs and work diligently to get you ready for whatever services, appointments or needs you have. My normal doc here is Jocelyn and truly it's been a real pleasure to have such a committed and knowledgeable woman be at my aid. I've come across many different specialists, docs and nurses... all of which I believe Jocelyn is the gold standard and some of these places can learn from her example. She is a joy to be around. Never have I ever had to question or go against her recommendations. when I do my monthly visits she is beyond excellent at her craft and I leave here knowing things will be okay. I've been a patient here now since October 2020 and I am grateful for every single person here. Would give these guys a 10 star if Yelp allowed. Immaculate facitility. Hand sanitizer available, air conditioned and comfy seats. Incredibly disappointed at the lack of humanity and compassion displayed by the front desk receptionist. We waited over 3 weeks for an appointment for my bed bound mother who is a cancer survivor with a detached femur, spinal compression fractures and fractured knee who is in severe pain. We found out last minute that the stretcher transport company was unable to secure transportation due to the holidays so we rushed in getting my mother out of bed, into a wheelchair and to her appointment. Due to the last minute rush, we were 5 minutes late and I forgot the new patient paperwork. Not one person was in the lobby and it was the day before Christmas Eve. I explained the situation and that my mom was waiting in our handicapped van. I could tell right away that there was no empathy from this receptionist. She left to ask the Doctor, who we had seen before at a different pain clinic and has always been incredibly compassionate if he would see her, and she said he refused to see my mom. I do not believe this as I know Dr. Delaney is very compassionate and my mom has been a patient of his for years. But if that is case, it is very sad. But either way, if this is how critically ill patients are treated here, I would not want to put my mom through that anyway. Either way, she was left in severe pain from the trip and this was our Christmas gift. I do not recommend this facility due to the way we were greeted and treated by the front desk. The front desk receptionist really needs a lesson in humanity, humility and compassion. read more

Anastasia Van Leuvan, PA has the worst bedside manner I've ever encountered with a physician. Cold and impersonal. Couldn't be bothered is her general demeanor and behavior. Mother is a patient and she has had very good experiences with the other doctors in the office. She has chronic pain and is a regular patient. Anytime my Mom is saddled with Anastasia, we are sorely disappointed. Great front desk customer service. Dr. Antflick and Eric Travis, PA are wonderful. Exit/Scheduling staff are rude and rushed. Dr. Gephardt should audit his team and only keep the team members that will bring pride to his office. read more

I would not recommend this facility. After numerous surgeries and complications I finally made it to my final post op assessment which was almost a month after final surgery only to be told that my provider had left for the day. I have literally never met the Dr. and was pushed onto a Physicians assistant, who more often than not, was more interested in expediting my appointment and pushing me out of the door. I am so glad I found this place! I was in pain for 3 weeks straight. I had a severe bulging disc that was preventing me to walk, let alone sit for any period of time, & it was really getting in the way of my everyday life. I was told by 3 other places that an appointment would take 2 to 4 weeks! Here at Nevada Pain they took me in as soon as possible which was 4 days later. I met Dr. Gephardt after a 45 minute wait & he was amazing. He talked to me about many options, he asked me a lot of questions, his great personality & bed side manner were above & beyond. He even referred me to a surgeon he works closely with involving my problem in case we went that direction, luckily the pain hasn't gotten to that point. He said he will have me pain free soon & I was scheduled for 3 sets of epidural shots a week later. I can sit & walk again, a month later pain free. ***ONLY thing I will add is the girls working the front desk, billing & scheduling can be rude or pushy. I started seeing seeing Dr. Campbell about 2 1/2 - 3 months ago. I had been seeing another pain clinic for over a year and going nowhere. Nothing was getting approved from my insurance. I felt like I was in a circle unable to jump out. As a single mom always in pain and having headaches all the time and running kids all over every day all day it's not easy to be in pain and be patient especially when you have a child who needs patience with issues of her own and two teenage girls. My Regular doctor said it was time to move on which I was thankful for and sent a referral over to Nevada Pain. I was so impressed with his clinic. They are very organized and you have one on one conversations with everyone in person. Even the gals who deal with your insurance company. I had told the doctor that my insurance had denied the procedure several time and he said no problem we will get it approved. I really had little faith. What do you know they got it approved the first time around. I was impressed especially from the last place I was at where nothing was approved first time around and sometimes the 2nd time around. It's like a breath of fresh air. So far everyone I've been in contact with has been extremely nice, and professional. I know when you work in an office of this type it's not always easy but not once have I've heard an attitude from anyone. I'm really happy my PA sent me here as I'm already seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, as well the doctor does not dilly dally. He does what is truly best for his patience. read more

Dr. Gephardt saved my life. I have a rare painful neurological disorder called RSD (reflex sympathetic dystrophy) or CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) and my previous pain doctor told me I was too complicated to help and just wanted to sedate me with narcotics. This landed me in a wheelchair as my disease progressed. I called 12 doctors before I called Nevada Pain and each one had no idea what my disease is. When I called Nevada Pain the receptionist had me speak to Dr. Gephardt over the phone. He was amazing and actually wanted to help. That was 2 yrs ago and I went from being in a wheelchair and bedridden to now being able to walk and hopefully work again. I am only 40 and my previous pain doctor forced me to retire at the age of 36. I really thought my life was over until I met Dr. Gephardt. He really just wants to help. The PA's that work there are great and actually know what my disease is and want to help me. I have hope again and I am living with lowered pain and looking forward to returning to work. I have had chronic back pain since 2008 and I've bounced around to a number of different doctors because of insurance changes, because we moved cities, and because I refuse to allow any doctor to treat me poorly. Unfortunately, these days that seems to be par for the course when talking about pain management doc's. I've seen a few here in Vegas that were absolutely horrible. Dr. Campbell is the opposite. He's kind, caring, attentive, and everything you want in a doctor. He was warm and welcoming, he answered all of my questions, he paid attention to what I said, and he allowed me to take make choices in my care also. That's another thing that's seriously lacking for many pain doc's - they seem to think they get to order patients around without any input from the patients themselves. I have been seeing Dr. Campbell at the Buffalo office. Dr. Campbell himself is a very caring individual. However my experiences with the office have not been so positive. The very first time I was scheduled for a shot in my hip I went to the Durango Outpatient Surgery center. I was there on time. I waited for 2 hours before I got in for my 5 minute shot. Also, I had to tell them repeatedly that I was not receiving anesthesia. Now I know that may not be Dr. Campbell's fault, but when I stringently complained I received an earlier time and did not have to wait at all. Then there was a terrible mix up with my billing, as I moved and the original bill did not get forwarded. Instead of calling to find out why the bill was returned, I received a letter threatening me with collections. I got that straightened out. Again, Dr. Campbell may not be responsible for billing, but it leaves a bad taste in the mouth for this practice. Today I had a 10:30 appointment, for which I arrived early and waited 45 minutes. When I went to the desk to discuss this I found out my appointment had been changed from Dr. Campbell to the nurse practitioner without my knowledge. Also, they have a $100 charge if a patient is over 15 minutes late. I will not be going back to this office. read more

I have been a patient with Dr. Campbell for 8 months, he treats me for Trigeminal Neuralgia from a work comp injury. Every visit I fill out the paperwork and it is actually read. Dr. Campbell Is knowledgable about the 5 years of treatment contained in my medical file, which translates that he took the time to STUDY my file. Dr. Campbell DOES NOT start my office visit by grabbing the chart off the door, flying into the room, having not, in the month I waited for my appointment, the hour in the waiting room once even opened my file to check test results, pain levels or what medications he prescribed at my last visit. He starts right in with the "so tell me, what happened again, what Medications are you on?" each time I see him. He does not ask me to re-live the horrible treatment by other doctors, the hospital stays, the 4 months of I.V. antibiotics, useless prescriptions, PT, acupuncture etc... He does not ask me the identical questions i just spent 45 minutes filling out in the waiting room. What most doctors don't understand is having to fill out 7 pages of medical history is not just physically painful, it is psychologically damaging having to re-live losing my job, meningitis, several surgeries, months of I.V. antibiotics. over again, which gives me a headache, neck spasms etc... When Dr. Campbell comes into my room, he is soft spoken, calm and caring. He then sits down, looks me in the dye and asks, "so how are you feeling today? What's going on? What's new?" Most call that 'bedside manner' I call it professional courtesy, respect and a true interest in his patient's health and well being for his patient. For me, just knowing he cares and believes my pain is real and he and I working diligently to help me get back to some semblance of a normal life is the most important part of the art of healing. EVERY doctor should start a patient's visit like this. Lastly, Dr. Campbell ant the extra mile and contacted my other doctors for information, suggestions and continuity of care. I'm a long time, chronic pain patient who has been suffering from numerous complex issues. Which apparently was of no concern to this office because after filling out bundles of paperwork (both online and in their office) and being unbelievably submitted to a urine test before even seeing a doctor, I was eventually seen by a nurse practitioner (on my initial and final visit). Which was not only a complete waste of time, it was also extremely painful and degrading. Under what circumstances does any health care provider require a urine test from a new patient prior to even being seen? I could have sworn that I went to a pain management doctor, not a rehabilitation clinic. On top of that unbelievable experience, I was only provided with a nurse practitioner (no doctor to be seen anywhere!) and was lied to about current medical regulations. I couldn't get out of that place fast enough. Save your time and frustration because there has to be much better health care providers elsewhere.
