They have been working on that upstairs apartment for over a month. This place used to be quite but the starting of this year its been a lot of renovations. It also seems like the little landlord and the little maintenance crew are prejudice towards him and targ him for some reason. They could have moved him like they did other people since they knew they was going to be doing long-term renovation. I will be leaving when the lease is up. That's type of disrespect to tenants is something I don't want to live around or see and deal with.

I've currently been living here for almost 3 weeks. I was very skeptical when I first moved here of the area and the homeless or maybe the quality of the clientele here but I am very pleasantly surprised. I currently separating from my spouse and I needed an affordable place to live. That was safe and secure and I moved into a studio apartment at this location. The apartment is clean. They replace the carpet and repainted everything works fine currently I have not seen any bug bugs which was a major concern for me but I am currently on the fourth floor and I don't know if the first floor is like they do have an elevator one that is very slow but still works and there is only like 107 units in the apartment complex, so it's not that long of a wait . The only issue is the apartment is older built in 1971, but it was well maintained for its age it is close to a park, which is overrun by homeless people that is the biggest negative the apartment complex is within a secured gate and you need a code to enter and I have not had any issues with anybody. The ladies in the office are very professional I have not had any appliances or anything break so I cannot respond to maintenance issues, but they seem to be very professional at their job jobs and the area is clean. I would not be deterred by location if you're looking for affordable place the only negative is the homeless in the area but I do not see them in the parking lot only on the nearby streets, and the police are on the streets on a regular basis. The rent is quite a bit cheaper than other apartments in the area. You need a security check and a background check to rent in the complex in the management is very pleasantly convenient to work with.

While the property is definitely modern in appearance and the apartments seem to be generally well maintained, that is where the good seems to end. When I first moved in, they had a great manager named Audriana who was very kind and respectful. Unfortunately, it seems she has been replaced with Cynthia and my interactions with her have been less positive. She started out by calling and e-mailing me telling me there were complaints of me causing "high bass" sound which is quite laughable considering I don't even have a television, nor do I listen to music without headphones or anything that would cause that. While I understand her bringing the concern to my attention, a person saying a noise is coming from a direction doesn't mean it is that person causing it and she should have actual proof before making accusations. The area can be noisy in general, and one should know that when moving there but I don't appreciate the accusations without proof. She has continued to confront me about it with vague "concerns" for which she has no proof. In addition, she recently approached me about not being able to charge my new electric scooter in my apartment "until I get back with you" even though she has not communicated such a policy to the entire building (which she knows would be received negatively and is not supported by the lease agreement). Apparently, they had some "incident" recently which they don't want to reveal any details about, but anyone with common sense knows that doesn't mean you can just ban anyone from using one (just as you couldn't prevent everyone in a building from using a hair dryer just because one might have caught on fire from misuse). I'm definitely going to be letting the corporate office know about her continued harassment and this "policy" she has apparently invented. Aside from those negative experiences, they unfortunately don't seem to care much that dozens of vehicles which do not pay parking fees fill the parking lot on weekends and take up spots that are supposed to be for residents. The security presence at this building is greatly lacking in general. They also often leave the back garage doors open which presents a security risk. The elevators are frequently breaking down as well. Lastly, please be aware that you will pay around $300 in fees/charges above and beyond what they show on the website. While I had left a more positive review previously and considered renewing when my lease is up in October, that is no longer the case with the change in management.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The community is quiet and full of professionals, some retirees, and professional students. There are plenty of greens and grass areas for dogs to use and they have a dog park. Onboarding was seamless. We are fortunate to have Mercedes helping us. She was professional in comportment and communication; not to mention a welcoming personality. She responded to our questions and requests promptly and respectfully. She onboarded us with ease and kept us updated throughout the process via emails; sometime, multiple times a day as needed. From start to finish, we moved in around the 10th day from the time we came to visit. We are happy with our moving experience and we have Mercedes for thanks for this.

The woman working there was extremely unhelpful, and I actually ended up stuck in the parking garage for an hour before finally getting my keys -- something that only got resolved because the owner I was renting from stepped in. Definitely frustrating, especially since the issue was over something as simple as cannabis (which is legal in Vegas). Aside from that, I really enjoyed my time here. Matt is definitely a respectful and responsive man, I would ask Matt for help on the phone or in person. I moved out and definitely ensured my next apartment did not have these following issues that sterling park had: *Appliances - nothing was upgrade. I basically had to beg for a new stove because the old one was not working and did not allow me to cook. I constantly complained about this issue and nothing was done until I wasn't able to cook for a week. *The a/c unit broke within a month of moving in and we live in Vegas summer heat. I just had a newborn baby girl and took about a week to be fixed. *The laundry washer and dryer are located outside of the apartment complex and doors were always kept open so there would always be bugs inside. The price to wash and dry is $5 in total which is overpriced in my opinion. Especially if you're going to be washing your clothes with bugs. *They always have like a 4-6 month "inspection" of your filter and smoke detector. The filters they install are very thin and see through. The apartment gets filled with so much dust. I buy my own filters due to that because I have allergies and they always change my expensive filter, even though I ask them not to. *There are holes in the roof which allows pigeons to move in and basically never let you sleep. I've asked for this issue to be resolved but was never fixed. *Living on the third floor you will deal with a pigeon infestation. You will not be able to enjoy your balcony/patio. *Also the door for the complex is unable to close so you will occasionally spot a few birds inside the complex when trying to enter your apartment. Also deal with bird poop, etc. because they never clean or wash the carpets. *The mailbox was always broken into but I never had my mail mailed here anyways but just something to add if you're expecting important mail. *Carpet beetle bug infestation. Issue was not resolved. I definitely learned a lot for my first apartment, do not settle for less.
