Just had a clear paint protecting film put on the front of our new SUV - for $1300 less than the dealer offered. This was the second SUV we have done this to at Desert Reflections and the job was again, perfect. After 2.5 years the last car only had one stone that made it through the protector. Very pleased with the service I received at Desert Reflections Tint Co. Had the windshield, passenger and driver side windows, and two windows in the rear doors on my Sprinter cargo van tinted with the nano ceramic material. The film is light enough that you can use it on your windshield, a really big one on the Sprinter! It reduces heat from the sun and blocks UV rays. I can feel the difference, it went from blazing to warm. Just a few tips: call to make an appointment, allow a few hours for the work to be done (perfection takes time), and know that you won't be able to open your windows for at least three days so the film can adhere properly. This is a A plus business!! Let me tell you about my positive experience from this week!! As I was driving into Albuquerque from out of town. I decided to Google search a place who could tint my cars windows. I was only going to be in town for a few days for business and to visit family. I searched for auto window tinting and found many positive reviews on Yelp & others for Desert Reflections Tint. I made a quick call to see if it was possible to get a last minute appointment to get my windows tinted on my company car. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism of the person whom answered the phone! I told him that I had a limited schedule and was hoping to get my car in immediately. He told me they were booked up until next week, but he insisted on making sure all his appointment were still set for the day. After a few minutes of him checking the schedule, he found that he may have a cancellation. After a minute of research he advised me that if I could bring my car in in about 30 minutes they would fit me in. Upon my arrival I knew immediately that I had chosen the right place to get my car done! It was clean and organized from the office to the shop area. The person I had spoken to on the phone introduced himself to me as Josh. He went on to explain the brands and types of window films they install. He explained the differences in light and heat rejection and overall quality. I made a decision on the film/tint I wanted! In one hour my car was done! Yes 1 hour!! Had Desert Reflections put a clear paint protection film on the front of our new car because small stones make up a desert. We noticed the SUV gets warm with all that glass so went back and had them do the front side windows and windshield with ceramic film to keep out heat. I got my windows tinted at Desert Reflections about a month ago, as I was driving home I noticed lots of bubbles on all the windows, I called Josh, he told me to take it in and he would take a look at it, but I should give it time to dry and most likely the bubbles would go away. A few days later the bubbles were still there, day turned into 2 weeks later. Called Josh and was told to take it in and he would look at them. When I took it in Josh said it looked like dust particles but since there was a lifetime warranty he would replace the tint, I was very happy to know that he backed up the work they did. I took it back in on 3/29, and only 4 windows were re-done (the doors), I asked why the back window and the smaller blind view windows were not completed since ALL of then had noticeable bubbles, Josh said this is Earth and dust happens and I should be happy and satisfied that the work was done, and again he repeated that there was a lifetime warranty.. I am not happy that my tint has bubbles and Desert Refection charged me for this unsatisfactory work.... read more
