I'd like to recommend Lomas Glass and Tint. The quality of work is excellent and they have wonderful customer service. I recently bought a used 2022 Prius that had a dark tint the previous owner had installed. I tried it for awhile, but the tint was too dark for me, especially when seeing out the back door of the hatchback. Sarah showed me the tint and heat rejection choices. I chose a lighter tint that retained a 40% heat rejection (great for hot days in New Mexico). I was able to get an appt within two days. Excellent customer service. Many examples of different tint shades are displayed in the waiting area, which is very clean and comfortable. There are complimentary snacks and soda/coffee/water while you wait. UPDATE: The owner informed me that my cable cover was installed incorrectly by whoever replaced my windshield and that he removed it so the tinter would have more room to work and so it could be put back correctly. So he was doing something extra for me that wasn't part of the job (though if he took the cover off to give the tinter more room, it still would have needed to be put back). Anyway, all of this frustration - both on his part and mine - could have been avoided with some simple (and brief) communication. Hopefully, the owner will make the effort to communicate next time instead of leave me to figure it out on my own. I appreciate the quality of work done by Lomas Glass & Tint and will for now consider this event with my cable cover an aberration. As such, I'll modify my review to where I would place it had this not happened. ====================== Profoundly disappointed in the poor customer service. I took my new car here for window tinting and windshield treatment for UV. The windows turned out perfect, but after a few months, the windshield showed some distortion and bubbling on the passenger side. Since this work comes with a lifetime warranty, I called Lomas Glass & Tint and reached their answering machine. I left a message informing them of the problem and requesting a call back to tell me how the warranty claim would be handled. I never received a call back. I decided to let it go for the time being, since it wasn't on the driver's side, impacting my vision. More recently, my car was damaged by a hail storm, which cracked the windshield. After replacement of the glass, I made an appointment with Lomas Glass & Tint to reapply the ceramic UV treatment. Since their hours are 8-5 with no weekends (the same as my job), I had to miss some work to drop off and pick up the car, which I don't like, but we do what we have to. What pushed my frustration over the edge with the shop is that they left the wire cover for my rearview mirror in the tray by my gearshift. I contacted Lomas Glass & Tint to inform them of this, and they apologized. However, they said I just needed to bring the car back by "for 30 seconds" and they would fix it. I said I realized this was a simple fix, but it wasn't "30 seconds" for me; it's 30+ minutes, since their shop is not anywhere near where I work. I suggested that since I am never in that area, they send the tech who made the mistake (or someone else) to my workplace to perform the 30-second fix there. That way the person who made the mistake is the one paying for it. They refused. (I ended up fixing it myself.) Were they courteous? Yes. Was the tinting work good? Yes. Was the ceramic UV work good? Decent. I'm hoping the 2nd one doesn't bubble like the first one did, or I will have to deal with them again. I've worked in a service industry for over 20 years. I know what it takes to make and keep customers. You make it right. If you make a mistake, you own it and you fix it. Lomas Glass & Tint obviously still has a few things to learn about customer service. I know this was ultimately the owner's call, so shame on him. read more

I've been using their tint for over ten years and it never fades, turns purple, or peels. They carry 3 different tiers of tint to suite most budgets. Many bubbles and debris under the tint but what's worse is the customer service. I brought my vehicle back to have them look at my concern and the gentleman, and I use that term loosely, Shawn was extremely rude to me from the get go and accused me of having a medical issue. He stated the window tint job was normal even though I've never had issues with this many bubbles on the 5 vehicles I've had tinted in the past. I would not recommend this place to anyone, they do not stand my their work and are extremely rude. Save your money and frustration and take your vehicle elsewhere where you will be treated with respect. *Edit. In response to the owners comment. You did not offer to correct any of this issues, you got very defensive stating that my issues were normal and walked around the parking lot looking for bubbles in other tinted windows and only found one small one in an suv to show me. You could tell i wasn't buying your story so that's when you insulted me, so of course I defended myself by calling you out. As for you correcting the issues now, after our interaction I would never trust you to lay another hand on my vehicle. I'll chalk this one up as a loss and learning experience and take my business elsewhere. read more

I haven't left many reviews lately, and I've been looking at some services in the past few weeks and thought I'd leave some new reviews. I can only echo the positive reviews that other people have written. Lomas might be a few dollars more than the guys running specials around town, but they are definitely worth it. Sean has done 3 (4?) tints for me and my family, and a few cracked windshields as well. No issues, no problems, no bs. He's great. He completely stands by his work, and will go out of his way to help you, or save you a few dollars of he doesn't think something you are considering is worth it. He also installed a Bluetooth adapter for me to a 2004 factory stereo that is operating flawlessly. The sound is not as good as factory, but that's not his fault at all. I recognize the capabilities of that kind of aftermarket system. Don't know what else to say. I think he's a great choice for this work and I hope your experience is as good as mine. read more

I had a car tinted here about 2 years ago. Still looks great .They aren't the cheapest in town, but they know their stuff and do quality work. The owner in also the installer and does nothing but the best work using the best films. He will steer you to the film that will work best for your application and budget. He doesn't mince words and he stands by his jobs. Like I said it may cost you a bit more, but you will be happy. We have been very happy with the job on our van and need to get another car or 2 over to him. I have used a couple other shops in the past. I recently had a 5th tint job done at Lomas Glass and Tint. To say that I don't like the work and professionalism by Sean would be a lie. He has always been courteous and professional, as well as a fast worker. My very first car tint was in 2011 and I have the smallest car in the world next to a Smart car. Back then, I didn't know about tint so I was nervous. However, Shawn had some kind of expensive Japanese film that he didn't have much left and wouldn't be able to use on any other car so he upgraded my tint to that film- without charging me a dime!! I did have an issue with this tint peeling off in the corner after the three days of not rolling the windows down. Shawn fixed it immediately on my calling him to let him know what happened! Now THAT is great customer service!! My next car, I had him place 3M clear tape on the bumpers and hood since I live in the East Mountains and I get rock chips fairly often. That clear coat saved my car more than I can even begin to explain on here. (He no longer provides this service but if he did, I would have had him do my newest car!!) I've also sent my Mom here and I've paid to have her other car done! Sean is awesome! I will go to him again and again and again! (My husband met Sean this last tint job and he said Sean was so cool- he wished we could all just kick back and hang out sometime. And my husband doesn't say that often!) read more

Called after researching and asked questions. Was told that you need to give them a 2 day notice to set up the appointment. Which I did! Then I was told that it will take up to 5 hours to install a windshield and back window with tint. This was all on a 1985 Ford F-250 pickup. They did a great job and my husband was so happy with the work. The cost was a little over 400 dollars. Now I need to do my Ford Bronco, but first save up the money for that job after I get an estimate of the cost. Great work! read more

The service was good, the customer service was not. I received a quote over the phone and when I showed up to drop off my car, the price was higher. I went home to check my records and saw the same price written. When I returned for pick up, I asked Emerald at the front desk about the quote I was given. She checked and said it was wrong. Being in customer service myself, I understood there was nothing to be done. I then obliged with payment with no comment except "I wish I had been give correct information". She proceeded to tell me all of the reasons why I was incorrect, that no one had actually given me that information. I kept silent, yet she seemed keen on proving me wrong a couple more times even after I paid her price... I could have gone somewhere else for the same price with a friendlier face. Going out of your way to argue your point is not professional or courteous at all. It makes me feel this business does not value its customers. read more

Second, when they were able to secure the replacement glass directly from Lexus at a $10 lower price than they quoted, they passed the savings on to me. On our way home to Canada from Phoenix we stayed over at a local hotel. When we got on our way in the morning we noticed someone had smashed in our rear passenger vent window. We pulled off the highway luckily near a Ford dealership. They didn't have the part but sent us to "their" window people. They wouldn't be able to get if fixed until 5 that afternoon as there had been so much vandalism overnight! Luckily we found Lomas Glass on the way! We just missed their 11 am delivery for parts so they sent their driver over to get it!! The window was installed and we were on our way within two hours, to say we were relieved is an understatement!!
