How do I say NO STARS? Her license has not been renewed people, it's EXPIRED and complaints there…read moretoo. As a CAA she recommended returning custody to a man with 41 missed U/A's 10 positive for opiates who can not hold a job and bankrupt but had the funds for whiskey. She failed to review his medical records even when asked given he'd been hospitalized for addiction over 6 times. Had not visited his daughter in 4 years and recommended counseling for the opposing when there was no diagnosis and she legally can not diagnose anyone without a license and she called not one witness (Over 20 were provided) that knew the child said she did not have time to read the over 200 pages that were sent to her. She had from July to November. Charged $700 for the 1 hour web meeting she rolled her eyes through a lot of it and told me how to go about filing severance but sent the child back to unsupervised to father who had not been visiting at all. She would not take calls from child's teacher who wanted to report something. She ignored documentation of 4 other women father was abusive towards. She did not call child care provider or meet the child she took the testimony of the opposing parties council Maria Lawrence of Lawrence Law and ran with it who is facing a second bar complaint for lying about father's sobriety along with her client. May they rot in the darkest pit of hell.

Changed my review based on new experiences here. Someone reached out to me and asked me about what…read moreI experienced. He apologized which meant a lot. He also assured me that I did nothing wrong and therapist aren't allowed to reserve unscheduled spots here. That has also been my experience in the past with my old therapist. If I didn't schedule out far enough, then another client could schedule and I'd just have to miss out or schedule the next available day that that time was open. It's first come first serve so what Stacy did was wrong. I was then paired with Dr. D whom I saw for a few months and definitely felt much safer. Then due to availability, I switched to Sally and wow. She is the perfect therapist for me. I don't plan on leaving Desert Sage while they have a gem like Sally there. Thank you all for reaching out to me.

I'm pretty sure this practice just hires "C" students who majored in psyche because it sounded cool…read moreand they thought they'd somehow make money from this. My husband and I both briefly saw practitioners from Desert Sage last year. I worked with Kristin a few times over the phone and I found her to be incredibly impassionate, if not a bit stuffy. She didn't seem interested when I expressed specific concerns, nor did she seem interested in committing to some sort of a diagnosis. I realize that may sound strange, but I've struggled with my mental health for basically my entire life. At this point, I can guarantee I'm not neurotypical. It took a lot to actually see a practitioner. Perhaps I should have been clear of this when I walked into the room (or, um, answered her Zoom), but I wanted professional feedback so I could truly identify some problems, and then work on them. She was happy to try medicating me after a single, brief conversation, but wasn't willing to try diagnosing after 4 sessions or so. I finally figured seeing her just wasn't worth the stress, and have gone back to sweeping things under the rug and playing doctor with myself. Not ideal, but I've found more benefit in doing that than continuing to work with her. My husband, on the other hand, worked with Daniel for substance abuse. Of course my husband liked him at the time, considering I found Daniel to be incredibly unprofessional and generally removed anytime I sat in for their sessions. There was never any talk of trying to identify a diagnosis or triggers when working with Daniel, which I figured could be helpful when it comes to substance abuse. Maybe that's not unusual in psychiatry, I honestly don't know. Regardless, seeing him always felt like a waste of time. I felt like Daniel wasn't interested in his work (IE helping people, which is kind of shitty on him). Though he was happy to bring up his own poor life choices during one session, like not setting himself up for retirement. Super professional, Kirsten and Daniel. Desert Sage. Thanks for the help. Our lives have been changed. (Not really. I'm quite obviously being sarcastic here. I really wish I could have those copays back. We've had to figure things out on our own, and you wanna know something funny? The military has helped by husband get his head screwed on more than these pompous lazy asses. Kind of an ironic, perhaps even unoriginal twist when it comes to tacking addiction, but the government managed to get more positive results from him than this practice did. The government? Helping someone? Results? Now, isn't that saying something.)

Saved our marriage! Michelle is incredible. My spouse and I…read morewere at a complete breaking point. We had tried traditional 50-minute weekly couples therapy in the past, but it felt like we spent the first 20 minutes getting caught up and the last 10 wrapping up, without ever getting to the root of our issues. We needed real help, fast. We found Michelle Shahbazyan and booked an intensive couples coaching session (her extended deep-dive session). It was hands down the best investment we have ever made in our relationship. I had seen her for some personal work many years ago and was so glad to have connected with her again for this new issue. Instead of just sitting back and taking notes, Michelle is direct, empathetic, and extremely solution-focused. Having that uninterrupted block of time during the intensive allowed us to finally tear down the communication walls, stop the endless cycle of arguing, and figure out what was actually going wrong in our marriage. If you are searching for a marriage coach or relationship counselor who actually gives you real-life, actionable tools rather than just generic advice, call Michelle. She completely shifted our perspective and gave us a clear path forward. We left our session feeling lighter, reconnected, and hopeful for the first time in years. Highly recommend her to any couple needing a true breakthrough!

I contacted Michelle and she said that my wife is very guarded about her issues and the likelihood is that she doesn't want to work on herself. Michelle was correct. In hindsight I regret we agreed to such a long initial session. I think we should have limited our initial session to an hour or two. It could have flushed out my wife's lack of willingness and commitment to counseling and saved us an enormous amount of money with no positive result.
