if i could give this place NEGATIVE stars i would. Unfortunately I have had a lot of recent…read moreexperience with funeral homes in 2025 with the sudden passing of my MIL who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that was treatment resistant whom we buried May, then my aunt losing her battle with cancer who we cremated in November-- but I cannot stress enough HOW THIS FUNERAL HOME has left a lasting impression on me that they offer ZERO after care service and may only be empathetic and easy to coordinate during the period you are revenue generating -- signing contracts and paying for the funeral. For context- my situation is unique and I can give Sutton concessions due to the legal procedure that has to occur in order for me and my attn to gain access to my fathers "file"-- In AZ only the person "reporting" the death has the right to the records of the paperwork filed with the funeral home that were filled out and there is a 10 day contingency period before those are executed in the event someone wants to contest those decisions (this is not my issue and its just the law). My father and our family unfortunately were deceived by his pseudo partner who inserted herself after my step mom passed. She concealed his death from me (she had a copy of his will and power of attny naming me the executor of his estate) and the rest of the family due to my fathers cash assets upon his death. We only found out due to her suddenly not returning our calls and when we requested a welfare check, we were advised by the officer that someone passed. Getting this information on how these decisions were made and why we were not notified (she would have had to fill out some form that there was no one to notify or no next of kin) is a critical piece to present in court her deliberate intention to conceal his death in order to access his wealth. We've done our due diligence, my attorney sent their attorney our subpoena late sept/early November (I do not have tracking info but it was sent along with the other subpoena and we already received those and even re-filed another one and got those results as well) and in an effort to direct my attorney's resources elsewhere I placed a few follow up calls and was advised someone would call me back. I then called again and forwarded the subpoena to another funeral director (not the main one who was with a family) via email so that they can fulfill this court ordered request. I would just assume that after telling them my situation on multiple occasions -- I have not even MOURNED my father who passed in March because I am knee deep in piecing the events of his death and ensuring I hold parties liable in the event he was taken advantage of. The subpoena has been received by their Legal representative Otto Schill- which I left a message for today (in addition the older gentleman I talked to today was extremely frustrating and was inserting legal advice that attny to attny should be speaking-- sir are you paying my attnys legal fees? it is well within my right as the executor of his trust and estate to follow up -- rather than pay my attny to send emails or make phone calls and utilize him for things I cannot execute and then he got short with me as I was visibly frustrated with this additional line of questioning + reiterating that this is one out of several phone calls I've placed with promises of a call back. In summary-- compassion should extend BEYOND death and the service performed -- especially to the immediate family members. I work for a fortune 20 company and in a operational leadership role-- this is simply unacceptable, especially considering your audience. Let families process their grief and mourn and provide them the support they need when they've followed the proper legal process to make these request. READ THE PRIOR 1 STAR REVIEWS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL DIRECTOR. SOMEONE IN YOUR OWN INDUSTRY HAS BEEN CRITICAL OF YOUR SERVICES. I definitely would entertain other options in the event you need assistance after the funeral, the last thing you should worry about is that theres some paperwork that wasn't properly processed just to keep you in further limbo in processing your grief.

While looking at funeral home options, every one of them was trying to upsell us and had the most outrageous pricing. All of the big name funeral homes were treating us like we were just another number and looking to profit. When I came across Care I knew immediately they were the right choice. When I spoke to Courtney on the phone I explained everything to her. You could genuinely hear the emotion and empathy in her voice. I explained to her that the hospital didn't let us see my brothers body for whatever reason. She was not happy about that and neither was her husband Aaron. Aaron assured us that if they were the choice for us they would get my brother before closing that day and we would be able to come and see him the very next day, And that is exactly what happened. Every promise they made to us they delivered on it. Arron, Courtney and Anastasia made such a difficult time in our life a little bit easier. They walked us through the entire process and gave suggestions where needed. When I arrived the day of the funeral they had already set up the flowers for us and the room looked beautiful. During this hard time we forgot to bring a belt, socks and shoes for my brother. On the day of the funeral I remembered and asked Aaron if my dad and brother brought the shoes, socks and belt, he told me no but he went out and got a belt and socks for my bother himself. I could not believe that he cared that much. While our mind were scattered and not in the right place he didn't want to add to our stress, So he went out and handled it for us to make sure our little brother was taken care of. I Will forever be grateful for that. I was the first person to arrive the day of the funeral and was scared to go see my little bother, Aaron walked me into the room over to my brother and put his hand on him and told me " Its ok you can touch him" When I did, He took a few steps back and let me have some time with my little bother. Aaron this moment will stick with me forever. Thank you for being there for me. I Could go on forever about Care, Aaron, Courtney and Anastasia but I'll end it here. Choose Care and they will wholeheartedly put your family first. Thank you to the ENTIRE Care team, my family and I will forever be grateful to you all.

After waiting over two weeks following her passing, we were given her hair in a ziplock bag only to discover it was covered in maggots. This was supposed to be a cherished keepsake to remember our loved one, but instead it caused additional pain and distress during an already devastating time. I expected the hair to be handled, stored, and returned with dignity and care. Finding it in this condition was shocking, unacceptable, and deeply disrespectful to both my niece and our family. I hope the facility investigates how this happened and takes steps to ensure no other grieving family has to experience something like this.

Everything was a great experience. Now after everything was done. The cemetery grounds, really need to be more upkeep. The watering needs to be more done on some areas than others. The water is very dirty and stains headstones. Everything that the water hits, turns brown. It's very hard to clean off and I tried many things to clean. But, it's a ongoing problem. I do try to come and visit my father above ground headstone. But, it very hard to see how cemetery don't take care of headstones. All that money spent on headstone and watching it get ruined with hard water stains. I rather have a great experience coming here and not worry about cleaning headstone every time.

I called 5 times in the period of 2 weeks, requesting someone to call me back with a stated purpose of understanding when his remains would be sent. I left a detail message with the individual picking up the phone. Also, providing additional insight that I was going through another burial of my father and wanted to be 100% sure I was home when his remains were delivered to me. All I requested was a call back. I also sent an email, requesting the same information. No one ever called me back as a courtesy even to say, we cannot disclose information to you. I received his remains yesterday. The post office just left them on my front door step with another package. No signed receipt requested, just simply dropped off. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service received. Additionally, I have a family member that worked as a funeral arranger and they were shocked no one would even call me back to acknowledge my message. If you have expectations for compassion and service during an emotional time, I would recommend lower your expectation. You are not a customer just another source of income for them.
