To swap my water heater for a new one, they told me it was under warranty then later told me it's not, plumber dropped my old water heater on the ground and stole the old fittings, tried to charge me for labor even though nothing was done, tried to rip me off and refused to leave. They took the sticker off the water heater to check the serial number to see if the old tank was still under warranty then came back later saying it's expired, the story later changed saying that it's been swapped before which is a lie read more

Firstly and foremost, what a wonderful experience from start to finish. My family and I were having trouble with our water heater not giving us any hot water since Friday 07/04/2025, I looked into a company that we have a membership with, after they came to flush our water heater 2 weeks ago thinking the problem was related, the company quoted us for a new water heater at 4gs all together, ridiculous! I decided to look for a second opinion by putting a project message here on Yelp. LV water heaters responded and may have saved a life today. Having a technician, Matt come out to us free& take a look. He tried igniting it, letting us know it may or may not work& there was no part to replace because the brand we have no longer makes the product. Let me start out by saying, I've had my water heater replaced three times (including this one) in the past four years. In Sept 2023, we contacted LV Water Heaters who recommended upgrading out system. We got three quotes, and LV matched the lowest price. Fast forward to this morning, when we woke to find that once again, we had no hot water. We called LV immediately, and they dispatched a technician, Nick Perry, in less than two hours. Upon inspection, Nick determined there was a faulty component in the unit. And while the water heater was still under warranty, there was some question as to how long it would take to get the parts in from the manufacturer. Rather than make us wait, Nick contacted his manager, who authorized replacement of the unit. If you're looking for a company that stands behind the products they sell, I would suggest giving LV Water Heaters a try. Their technicians and managers go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I'm very pleased with the service I received, and I can't say enough about Nick's professionalism and commitment to customer service. As pleasant as my experience has been, I'm hoping my run of bad luck with water heaters has come to end! read more

Today I had Andrew come out for a leaking pressure valve. He quoted me 400.00 which I was okay with, I was happy he didn't try and say I needed a new tank, which several had tried to do already.. He said he'd be back in an hour, had to go get parts. when Andrew returned, he said he'd talked to his brother and actually the price should be $750. but he can do it for $500. yep, these repair guys are such scammers. I wish I had said no, forget it. I despise this type of upsell. But I can't fix it, so what can I do? I am an honest person in life and work. I only wish these companies could be honest for once. After he was done, he tells me he I should have my tank flushed for 89.00 . If he hadn't charged me the extra 100. I would have likely done it. Here's the real kicker. I told him his company put this water heater in, in 2019. so he puts a huge sticker on my tank that says warranty 6 yrs, date installed 2019! Yep, couldn't believe it. I am FURIOUS right now. Our water heater that we purchased in 2020 from this company (with a 6 year warranty) started leaking last night. We called the company and their technician came out today and looked at it for two minutes then said we need a new one. I'm thinking, ok we have a warranty so that's cool. Well, nope. He quoted us MORE than what we paid initially for the new one! I was so confused so I wanted to clarify. First off, he said he didn't think our water heater was from them. Um Ok, I have the receipt right here. Then he said he doesn't know why they gave me that price initially and I must have gotten a discount. Then he proceeds to say that even with the warranty I have to pay for parts and labor and then the majority goes to pay the company. WHAT?!?! I understand paying for parts and labor but to pay MORE than our initial install?!?! WHAT?! I ask him if there is anyone else I can speak to. A manager?? someone in the office?? He says, well, they are all going to say the same thing. Holy shit, I am seeing red at this point. Am I crazy or is this just SO WRONG?! So just for reference... We paid $1195 for the water heater. It clearly says 6 year warranty on the receipt. That was the reason we chose this company because of the warranty!! So today (4 years later) this guy quotes us $1250 WITH the warranty He said yeah you get the tank for free but you have to pay the fees. What the??? Oh and I asked him, so do water heaters normally go bad that fast? He says yeah normally 3-5 years. WHAT?!!?!?!!! So why would you give me a 6 year warranty?! Like what the F is this guy saying?! Is he for real?? He proceeds to tell me he's been doing this for 7 years and that's just the way it is. He spoke to me like I was an idiot. I have never left a bad review before. Ever. But this is NOT OK. And people need to know what kind of company this is and what a "warranty" means in their world. After talking with some of my clients and coworkers I decided to call the office and ask to speak to someone in charge or the owner directly. The woman on the phone said everyone was in a meeting but asked what this referred to. I explained and she looked up my account and saw the receipt from my purchase along with the 6 year warranty and was just as confused as to why we were quoted such a high amount. She said that she would give this information to her manager and they would call me back. I thanked her. That was 6 hours ago and it's now 7:30pm on a Friday night. I truly hope someone reaches out to communicate and make this right. *** TUESDAY*** I gave them the weekend and had to call back twice and now it's Tuesday. I called again and they said it will cost $1,000 to install a new water heater WITH the warranty! The tank is free but the installation is $1000!) Again, I paid $1195 when I initially purchased it and that included everything. So on top of having my small children take cold showers while waiting for someone to call me back since Friday, they basically said too bad. I recently got a new water heater installed by Vegas Plumbing Service on Nov 10 while I was out of town. They did a good job setting up the new unit, no complaints on that front. But when it came down to review what I paid for, things got murky. They hit me with a large bill and when I asked for a breakdown--y'know, just to see what I'm dishing out for labor, parts, all that jazz--they kinda dodged the question. For almost two months (It's now Dec 27), I can't get a line item breakdown. Look, I get it, installing a water heater isn't pocket change, but transparency matters, you know? If you're charging $600+ an hour (my estimate since you won't provide a breakdown), just come clean about it instead of playing hide-and-seek with the details. I had the hot water heater replaced in 2020. The guy ripped out my recirculating unit & said I didn't need it. He claimed it was only for larger homes. Well, I ended up having to run the kitchen faucet forever before I could get hot water. I called them & told them about this issue and they came out & replaced the recirculating unit for $799.00. After 3 months of still having no hot water in the kitchen (unless I ran it forever) I called back. They sent someone out and all he had to do was turn on the new unit!!!
